It's good to have a dry cleaner that you can count on, especially when I'm trying to keep my…read moresweater game going and they have a stain or two on them. Took a stained sweater here to be dry cleaned and happy to have this place nearby for that as I just walked it in. Attendant, presumably the owner was friendly enough. He took my sweater and told me it would be a week which seems to be the standard at these cleaners and alteration places. He handed me my ticket and off I went anticipating a fresh sweater. A week later that's what I got, a nicely cleaned and folded sweater in a protective bag. It ran about $15 which I agree with another reviewer is a tad high, but everything's going up these days it seems. The work shows though and will totally come back for further dry cleaning should the need arise.

Some new food, unfortunately didn't sit well with his sensitive tummy. I am glad I came to Jay's. All the items came back as brand new and no weird smell whatsoever! I was thrilled. And so I later brought a winter vest and a jacket recently bought and that had never being cleaned. The jacket had a tiny bit of food stain. Again all came back as brand new and no odor at all! Most of these are pretty expensive clothing that I waited patiently to snatch on sale. I am a curvy girl and not all brands fit me well. The few brands that fit me happen to be expensive. I can't even afford them at normal retail price. Very glad and relieved to see them back so fine. Pricing is reasonable I feel. No unpleasant surprises. Jay's my favorite dry cleaner now. There are many dry cleaners. But there's also quite a few horror stories out there. So I meticulously do my search when it comes to dry cleaning. I don't just stop by the nearest to my place. The location is easy to find, just a few blocks from Whole Foods Market Roosevelt and there's a parking lot right behind. The service is friendly. Highly recommend!

Worst dry cleaning experience I've ever had. I came in on a Saturday afternoon to drop off…read moredrycleaning for a wedding that I'll be flying out for the coming Thursday so 5 days from dropoff. First off, the lady behind the desk scolds me to take better care of my clothes and goes on this whole tangent as my sports coat is a bit worn. After sitting through that, she tells me the clothes will be ready next Saturday, exactly a week later. I state how I leave for a wedding on Thursday so is there any way I can get them by then (every dry cleaner I have gone to was a 2-4 day turnaround). She then starts scolding me again about how I shouldn't drop stuff off on short notice and I need to be more responsible (again this is 5 days before I need them). She makes me pull up my flight and agrees to have them done 3 hours before my flight's departure time on Thursday, allowing me to pick them up and immediately head to the airport. I have no choice as the usual dry cleaner I use nearby is closed so I agree. I then get charged a rush job fee (for a 5 day turnaround) and my total comes out to about $75 dollars for a single collared shirt, pants, and sports coat. I pay it as I have no other choice and don't want to go somewhere not right next to my apartment. To add insult to injury, I picked my clothes up on Thursday at the scheduled time just for them to have a bit of a funky smell and for there to be a couple small yellow spots on my collared shirt from sweat that didn't get cleaned. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The customer service was horrible. I was taken advantage of and scammed due to my need. I cannot recommend more that anyone reading this goes anywhere else but here.
