Their breakfast specials are a great deal. You can't beat the price for everything you get and the food is pretty good. Toast, eggs (made to your liking), fries, your choice of ham or bacon, and cafe con leche. They were specific about the order, to make sure they got my cafe con leche and eggs exactly to my liking. I love their Cuban toast, sounds stupid... but they actually toast it! You'll walk into a lot of bakeries asking for a Cuban toast and get warmed up bread with barely melted butter. Nothing annoys me more. So, a good Cuban toast earns a lot of points with me. On the other hand, their meat empanadas are terrible... I understand they're fried, but there's no reason it should be orange. Even the actual meat in it is not good at all. This is my go to for cafecito in the morning and late night munchies since they are open 24/7! The wait time is usually very short and the staff are always polite and willing to help. I came in the other night and found out they also serve breakfast 24 hours. I had the Croissant Sandwich with a ham croqueta and it was absolutely delicious. read more

Nothing like the Pinecrest Bakery on US1! Lady taking my order on the phone didn't know the sandwiches I was ordering. My croqueta preparada was made with a huge bread (which is what I'm used to) but with 1 thin slice of ham and another thin slice of cheese I think he entire sandwich had a solitary croqueta in it. The Elena Ruth had a single piece of turkey. Husband was beyond dissatisfied. This must be a CHEAP franchisee. We should've thought something was up when most of the food display areas were not stocked. Won't be coming back here even though it's close to home. Quality control of this brand should visit unannounced; maybe even place an mock order to get the full experience. read more

Bakery meets Fast Food Chain. The food was nasty. I ordered several pastry items to take home and ended up throwing most of it out given the fast food taste. Staff is loud and makes no effort to assist you. The croquetas were hollow in the middle. What is up with that??? The crackers were tasty and had a good texture. The food was good as I expected since I have gone to the Key Largo location prior and enjoyed the food. The reason for my low stars has nothing to do with the food and everything to do with bring disappointed for all their advertising to be 24 hours (and multiple displays inside and out of the location, and on their website) they were locking the door to the place with us inside before even 9pm. There was a paper sign on the door indicating they closed at 9. When another group tried to enter to order they were told they had to order at the window and could not come inside. I saw that they noticed the sign on the door and asked if it said 10pm why couldn't they come in. The response was that they needed to lock up so they could begin cleaning otherwise they wouldn't be able to finish at 10. And they were in fact already starting to clean before I had even walked in, again this was around 8:30pm. read more

Ordered food from them. I was charged my entire order, didn't get my café con leche, tostada or the right croquetas. Very disappointed and will not be ordering from them again. We came to eat late night. We had in mind to eat a pan con bistec and a croqueta preparada but that didn't happen. Apparently the lady who was serving us said she had a lot of work and the grill was off so it was gonna take long for us to get our food and it was gonna be inconvenient for her because she was behind on her work. They never pick up the phones and I literally walked in 5 minutes after calling and I was the only customer to tell me they were to busy and the phone had problems which I know was a lie they just didn't want to answer. Do yourself a favor and don't come here! Every time I go, the people working are extremely rude, ignore you, go to the back and don't come out. Every time I have gone, I am simply ignored as I walk up to the counter to order. Also, there are several of the girls that are too busy flirting with older men to do their job. I have seen on several occasions this same blond girl leave early to "hangout" with different older men. This says a lot about how the business is run.
