"SADDEST PAN CON BISTEC EVER MADE"
    Stephanie D.

Wow! Sorriest, saddest Pan con bistec & customer service I've EVER experienced in my entire life! From the minute we walked in into a completely empty bakery we were "greeted" with the death stare & the side eyes. After ordering a pan con bistec, chicken sandwich & an empanada I was told anything fried would take around 45 mins. I cancelled the empanada & waited on a reply if the sandwiches were available. After some more eye rolls I was charged and waited for about 15 mins for my order. To arrive home to this "pan con bistec".. I was able to count how many potato sticks & and grilled onions slices were thrown on my bread. What's the point of staying open late if food & service will be this bad?! Please DO MUCH BETTER. From an EX regular customer

What was supposed to be a grave and cheese pastry

I ubered a traditional pan con bistec and guava and cheese pastry. The order was completely wrong. The sandwich was missing the stick fries and the pastry only had guava. It's terrible when you do not receive what you paid for.

Who has ever heard of a cuban sandwich with ketchup in it? Truly ruined the experience for me. How can this Pinecrest Bakery be this terrible? Whoever owns this one either needs to find a new crew, or maybe should sell to someone who may want to give customers a better experience.

Disgusting food that was given to us. I don't even know what's on the pulled pork sandwich.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. They could not have gotten my entire order MORE wrong. It was almost deliberate. My friend and I ordered sandwiches and the things we asked for on it, were what we DIDN'T get, and what we asked to not include, we got. I ordered a pan con bistec with lettuce, onion, and the tiny fries that comes on the sandwich usually, no tomato. Also a drink. The food arrives almost an hour later, I get a pan con bistec with NOTHING ON IT except tomato. I'm allergic to tomato. I had to throw the whole thing out. They also didn't give me my drink. Absolutely ridiculous. Never ordering from here again. EDIT: As if the order being entirely wrong wasn't bad enough, my friend tried to make the best of it and eat his pulled pork sandwich anyway. Unsurprisingly, the meat was BAD! Chewy, dry, a strange texture, and tasted as if it had been sitting out all day. Save your money and get your food from somewhere else.

I went to this Pinecrest location because I really, really loved the another one we tried, so I decided to take my daughter for lunch in here. Parking was ok, we found a spot even though the parking lot was full. Service was good. The lady who took care of us, helped me get my order ready and she asked me how I wanted my sandwich in case I had some requests. This place has tables and chairs inside, when we went they were dirty, but as soon as we sat down, a lady came and started cleaning all of the tables. I didn't like the baked empanada we had. It was dry and with no flavor. But I loved the sandwich of Media Noche (a Cuban Sandwich). Delicious semi sweet bread, filled with ham, cheese, pickles, mayo and mustard. It was nicely toasted and I liked it very much.

The worst bakery in Miami. The food quality is very bad. Don't waste your money. The customer service is very rude.

I had some French toast and a coffee, and even with just a few bites you can tell they care about what they're serving. What really stood out was the atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and you can tell they have a strong group of regulars. It's the kind of place where you don't feel like a customer, you feel like you're stepping into a family environment. There's a real sense of culture and community that you can't fake. A lot of people look for a vibe when choosing a restaurant. Here the vibe is family. The second you step through the door, you're transported. The ambience is warm, inviting, and full of character. The decor feels intentional and authentic--not staged or commercialized, but real. It has that lived-in Cuban charm, with rich colors, cultural touches, and details that make you want to slow down, look around, and just exist in the space for a while. It's the kind of place where you can sit, sip your coffee, and forget about whatever stress you walked in with. Now the food... wow. I've had Cuban food in many places, and I can honestly say this felt as close to authentic as it gets. Every bite tasted like it was made with care, tradition, and pride. And the croqueta preparada... easily the BEST I've ever had. No exaggeration. The balance of textures and flavors was absolutely perfect. The croquetas were crispy on the outside, rich and creamy on the inside, and combined with the bread and fillings, it was pure perfection. You could tell everything was fresh and made the right way--not rushed, not mass-produced, but crafted. Then there's the coffee... and this is where they truly separate themselves from everyone else. The coffee was on another level completely. Smooth, rich, bold, and full of flavor without being bitter. It had that authentic Cuban intensity but was incredibly enjoyable and balanced. You can tell they take their coffee seriously. This isn't just coffee--it's an experience. What really makes this place stand out beyond the food and coffee is the feeling. It feels genuine. It feels like culture. It feels like passion. Places like this are rare. This isn't just somewhere you go to eat and leave. It's somewhere you go to enjoy, relax, and appreciate. I can say with complete confidence that I'll be coming back again and again. If you're even thinking about trying this place, do yourself a favor and go. You won't regret it. Absolutely incredible

Well a coworker happily bumped into this place a couple of days ago and shared a Colombian empanada with us. It was delicious. It was crispy, meat flavored just right and the sauce made it all just devine! Come the next day were all ordering from here. They have delivery available so it made the deal even sweeter. There are so many options available. They have ,breakfast, lunch, daily specials, fresh juices and other drinks and let's not forget the delicious arepa sandwiches. I had a real light lunch planned for today so I went with a heavy breakfast. I chose the La Guera (chicken stew and cheese) arepa. The stuffed chicken breast came sliced with onions and green peppers and loaded with melted cheese. Amazingly the arepa stayed crunchy on the outside and yummy on the inside. It was very satisfying and fulfilling. I am ready to take on my day now! Make sure to check out their daily specials too. They have full plates for under $7! Trust me it's all worth it!

We opted for take-out and included their regular chocolate croissant, the Dubai chocolate croissant, the ham & cheese quiche, and a beef patty. The ham & cheese quiche came with a fresh side salad, and after the first bite, I can confidently say this is one of the best quiches I've ever had--better than many I've tried at hotels, on cruises, or from other bakeries. The flavor, texture, and balance were outstanding. The beef patty was another pleasant surprise. It was juicy, packed with flavorful ground beef, and wrapped in a soft, thin, and tasty pastry shell. Simple but very well executed. The classic chocolate croissant was delicious, with a perfectly flaky texture and rich chocolate filling. The Dubai chocolate croissant was also indulgent, though a bit sweeter than I personally prefer, but still very enjoyable and high quality. Service at the counter was friendly and efficient, and the packaging--both the boxes and the bag--was neat and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, a great experience. We're looking forward to trying more items from their menu in the future.
