Great Latin Food and Great prices glad i found this place right in front of tropical park

We were driving by the street looking for a place. I searched Yelp and this restaurant popped up. It is in a small strip mall and if you don't pay attention, you will miss it. We were a bit skepticism about this place first. Looking outside, you see the window where you can order food. Inside, it was simple too. But we were hungry and decided to try. We were so glad we stayed. My husband had fried pork and I had lechon asado. Both dishes were cooked well and they were good. I think even tostones were homemade. Also prices are very reasonable too. We will stop by again!

Went to Casa Latin Cafe for some lunch and I was really impressed by the service. During my visit there was only one person attending the entire restaurant. This female waitress did a great job at making sure all her tables (all restaurant tables) had what they wanted or needed. The food I ordered was cooked fresh. They give you fresh cut bread with butter and you can add olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper if you wish. The parking situation is a bit difficult because the shopping center is small. Each location within this center has about two spots for parking so parking can be quite complicated. The restaurant had plenty of seating during my lunch visit (it was a Friday). I had some Cuban coffee before asking for my check and it was delicious. Will definitely check it out again since I just bought a house in this area.

Breakfast here was sooo good ! The steak was cooked perfectly!!!!!! Friendly staff too . Would like to return to try the rest of the menu.

Believe this place has potential. There was only one staff working in the front and she was professional and attentive to the customers, doing her best. The place needs to be updated, u can tell there is a lot of furniture that needs to be replaced/upgraded. The organization of the restaurant needs more attention and better lightning. The price of the food is as expected for a Cuban cafe. The quality of the was good. We ordered pancakes for kids, veggie omelette and reg breakfast

We grabbed a table inside across from the counter -- the space was cool, cozy, and flooded with natural light, a nice contrast to the Miami heat outside. Great energy for casual strategy talk. Order Highlight: I went for the 4-egg omelet loaded with crispy bacon and cheddar cheese, served with a warm buttery croissant on the side. (See pic ). It was comfort food done right -- fluffy eggs, sharp cheddar melt, and real-deal bacon, not that paper-thin stuff. Service was friendly and quick. Coffee refills came without asking. Staff were chill but attentive, which made it easy to talk business without interruptions. Overall, this spot strikes the perfect balance for a laid-back, productive CRE catch-up -- no loud crowds, no fuss, just solid food and clean ambiance. Bonus points for easy parking and a menu that works whether you're here for a breakfast deal huddle or a solo laptop session. Already planning to make this a recurring Friday tradition.

I really enjoy their layout and ambiance. The star of my experience was their Banana Foster hot latte. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it completely delivered. It has this smooth banana flavor with a hint of caramelized sweetness that reminds you of the classic dessert, but it's not overly sugary. The espresso still shines through, and the drink stays perfectly balanced. Every sip feels warm and comforting, especially if you're someone who likes specialty lattes that are flavorful without tasting artificial. What I appreciated most is that the baristas clearly care about the craft. The latte was beautifully made, the milk was silky, and the flavors were layered in a way that felt intentional rather than gimmicky. If you're anywhere near South Miami and want something different from the usual vanilla or caramel latte, the Banana Foster hot latte at Iconik Coffee is absolutely worth trying. I stopped in again this past Tuesday, and the experience was very different from what I've always known here. The service was unfortunately very rushed and inattentive. We had hoped to dine in, but our food was packed to-go without asking. My sandwich was bland, and even though the cashier asked for my full order, parts of it still came out incorrectly. I know Cuban bakery culture is fast-paced and "grab and go," but this time it felt like because we weren't regulars, we didn't receive the same warmth or care. At one point, I even felt like the cashier was worried I might walk out without paying -- an uncomfortable feeling I've never experienced here before. They seem to be renovating, and I truly hope it's just growing pains, but things felt disorganized. Someone was offered an item from a handwritten menu, only for another staff member to say it had actually been removed. The digital menu wasn't fully updated either, which added to the confusion. It honestly makes me sad to write this, because Lucerne has always been a special place to me and my family.
