I was really excited to find a close Salvadoran restaurant but this was a thousand percent a miss. This is a pupusa and a half. You know why? Bc when I took it out it fell apart. The chicharron was just shredded pork, and not good. It did not taste good. The horchata not good. Also ordered a pan con bistec and that was a miss. The only reason I'm ok with giving them a 1 star is bc the staff was nice. The food was awful. A WASTE OF $37. Ordered for take out. I would like to mention, that even though I am Central American it's not hard to impress me so that says a lot. Generous on the salsa and repollo lol but bc you're going to need it to mask the taste. We were driving by the street looking for a place. I searched Yelp and this restaurant popped up. It is in a small strip mall and if you don't pay attention, you will miss it. We were a bit skepticism about this place first. Looking outside, you see the window where you can order food. Inside, it was simple too. But we were hungry and decided to try. We were so glad we stayed. My husband had fried pork and I had lechon asado. Both dishes were cooked well and they were good. I think even tostones were homemade. Also prices are very reasonable too. Went to Casa Latin Cafe for some lunch and I was really impressed by the service. During my visit there was only one person attending the entire restaurant. This female waitress did a great job at making sure all her tables (all restaurant tables) had what they wanted or needed. The food I ordered was cooked fresh. They give you fresh cut bread with butter and you can add olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper if you wish. The parking situation is a bit difficult because the shopping center is small. Each location within this center has about two spots for parking so parking can be quite complicated. The restaurant had plenty of seating during my lunch visit (it was a Friday). I had some Cuban coffee before asking for my check and it was delicious. Will definitely check it out again since I just bought a house in this area. read more

Honestly, I was starving and extremely lazy when I discovered this place on Yelp. Since they delivered, I went for the picadillo and queso frito with white rice and fried yuca. The portions here are so large that it's basically two servings in one. It was delivered to my front door and I didn't have to move a finger to get my Cuban soul food. Everything was neatly packaged and abundantly served. There's no delivery minimum and only a $5.00 charge for using the app so it was a no brained for me. When it arrived, I dug in and it all tasted great. They even included some buttery bread for me. My food was great and they added a materva for me after I called and added one to the order. Very good breakfast! Portions are huge and their tostadas are fresh with lots of butter. I went for the perico breakfast with a hash brown. At least 3 eggs were on the scramble. My only comment is I wish they would chop the veggies a little more to make sure all the tomato, onion and pepper juices and flavor blends more with the eggs. The cafe con leche is delicious . My coworker called (on speaker) to make a complain and he was put with the manager Dinora after I explain what we found in our pan con "viste" she dares to say "yo no se que decirte" (I don't know what to tell you), that it might be Chinese sauce. I don't know what kinda on Chinese sauce this lady has had but this isn't Chinese sauce (soy sauce) and that is all she had to say, no apology no, how can I fix this for you, nothing. Why would there be Chinese sauce in my Cuban sandwich in the first place. This place is nasty they don't clean there equipment and the customer service from the manager is even worse... I have never heard a manager tell a customer " I don't know what to tell you". My co workers and I use to order from here all the time but lately the food has been lacking quality and after speaking to this so called manager I will make sure to inform everyone how low class this place is. A co-worker and myself visited this place yesterday for lunch. He had been here recently and told me I had to try it! They have a board with hand written specials or you can order from the menu. Water was brought to us along with some warm garlic butter cuban toast. He ordered some sort of pork steak with onions that he said was phenomenal. I had chicken with onions and green peppers in some sort of gravy. It was great. Our sides were sweet banana's and thick black beans, excellent! My friend orders weekly dinners from here so I decided to give them a try. Listen to me when I tell you that this place is the funkdigity. It's a no frills, straight-up, great, home-cooked Latin food cafe. Their ropa vieja is awesome and enough for two people...and wait for it...it's $6.50! Love their pan con bistec, their rice and beans and their sweet plantains because they are made in-house instead of frozen like a lot of places I know. Most of all, I go for their soups. Their lentil soup is the best I've had so far aside from my own home-made one, which I haven't made recently because I found this gem. I don't think I've paid more than $12 here for my family of 2 1/2 (my toddler is that 1/2). So, I'm happy to be the first reviewer and feel free to thank me when you try it out. read more

I just didn't have time to go out and eat while working at the office. This place delivers! However, they took an hour for delivery and about 30 mins for preparation. If paying with credit card you'll need to spend $10 at least so they can do services and that does not includes $4.00 of delivery fee. But, the food was very good and big portions. This place Stole $500 from my girlfriend and I. The original bill was for $18.38. But early today upon checking the transactions on our account they had withdrawn $500 before or after the initial bill. It has been reported as fraud to the bank.
