I am always on the lookout for new coffee places, and today I tried Iconik Koffee. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how empty it was. There was only one barista and one other customer. The place is super cute, but something felt missing and it was not very inviting. I looked over the menu, which had a lot of items that interested me, but I decided to go with my current coffee obsession, an iced cinnamon bun latte. I ordered a 16 oz, and the flavor was right on point. The only downside was that it was too sweet, and I could not finish it. I would order it again but ask for less syrup next time. None of the food options really enticed me. They had croissants and other baked goods, but nothing looked very appealing, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the coffee shop was okay.

I came to check this spot out that's close to sunset place and it was yummy! They have seasonal items to choose from. I love when coffee spots do this because there is a variety of flavors to choose from. I decided to try the tres leches iced latte and add cookie butter cold foam. It was great, not too sweet imo which is good. I also had a pan de bono that I forgot to snap a pic of, it was warm and super soft to the bite. Definitely going to be coming back to try other flavors of iced coffee!! Can't wait

Omg good coffee and I don't have to drive far! Delicious, smooth, hint of nutty so yum! Beans sourced from Pereira farm in Colombia. Such a homey and awesome vibe. Tried their Authentic Colombian empanada with homemade picante and guys..Yes it tasted like home. Full of shredded beef and crunchy! Also got the Pandebono..bc of course! And oh yea melts with goodness! Must come back! Staff was so friendly and welcoming, insta-love this place..KK!! See ya soon

I was so excited to try this coffee shop since the coffee comes from Colombia. I wasn't able to really taste the coffee with all the sugar in the iced latte but it was a good price point for the area. I'll have to get a tinto to really get a taste of the coffee bean.

Found it via Google looking for a coffee fix and seeing as I hadn't heard of it decided to give it a go. The decor is sleek and modern--not girlie so guys can feel comfortable hanging out here. A lot of interesting latte flavors like Tres Leche, Dubai Chocolate and cookies and cream all made with Monin syrups. Dubai chocolate was very chocolately (uses syrup) and has pistachio milk. But you mostly taste the chocolate and coffee and sugar. No pistachio taste. Cookies and cream: it has a ton of syrup so it's very chocolately and the coffee is strong as well with pieces of cookies. Not bad in flavor but wayyy too sweet it's hard to drink. It was also a tad warm. Each coffee has multiple pumps of different syrups so it's overload of flavor. Kids would like it (parents may not like the sugar high). As an adult I can say it's a bit much for us. We couldn't get past three sips. Great concepts and flavors but I recommend easing up on the syrups, or go for house-made syrups with natural flavors. Three stars for creativity of flavor and cleanliness but two stars for execution.

While hunting down coffee shops around the Kendall area, I stumbled upon Iconik Koffee and I'm so glad I did! I found them through Yelp while needing a solid pick-me-up to fuel my errands, and this spot absolutely delivered. I ordered the cinnamon roll latte, and wow--it was delicious! Perfectly sweet with just the right amount of cinnamon, it really hit the spot. The coffee itself is bold and strong, which I personally love. It gave me the energy boost I needed without being overly bitter. The shop has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve.

Honestly was so pleasantly surprised when I tried their coffee , I was nervous it would be too much hype and it wasn't. They have regular basic coffees but then have their own & those are great. Parking on the front & side, service is great, ambiance inside is chill but clean and organized (love). I wish they opened before 7am bc I would so get this coffee instead of Starbucks before my shifts. Have tried : Cookies and cream ( I do think it needs to be a little colder) Cinnamon roll White chocolate mocha

I love a good coffee spot. I have been seeing this pop up on my feed. The location is off of US1 with limited parking. When you walk in you can tell that it is a modern cafe. Lots of different options. I wanted to get one of their popular drinks. The barista suggested the tres leches. It came to around $8. The coffee is good ! I would come back here. It is a grab and go kind of spot. There's no seating. A good spot on US1 next to university of Miami for coffee. A modern coffee spot. Their menu is varied. Interesting mixes.

cute ambience but had to throw the coffee out. Coffee beans tasted very bitter and the banana taste does not work with the coffee.

Cute little addition to south dixie highway. Minimialist decor, they need some seating or perhaps a little counter/bar near the window? The baristas were really kind. I worked mostly with james. He helped me select the iced cinnamon roll latte (i love cinnamon so this was perfect for me). The presentation was great, the latte was nice and cold. I like my espresso drinks a little more concentrated and it was a little on the watery side. But it was a nice flavor and not too sugary! Might be a little hard to get to during rush hour traffic, so will probably only come here on weekends. Cant wait to return to sample more delicious flavors.

Stopped in for a quick coffee, great menu with both the classics and some fun twists. Freshly made pandebonos sealed the deal. The barista was super friendly too. Big win.

Had a splendid opportunity to pass by here the other day to one of the matcha drinks here at Iconik. I was eying for quite some time now. Super chill cute little coffee spot. The service was superb and up to par. I really enjoyed my coconut matcha. Absolutely delicious. Pretty addicting and can't wait to be back for another one. Highly recommend this spot for anyone wondering about it. Come check them out for yourselves and fall in love with a new coffee shop!

I had the Iced Cinnamon Roll Latte -- it was perfectly made.

I hope the new west Kendall location meets the same expectations. Today I tried the Strawberry oatmilk matcha, and the ham, egg and cheese croissant. Fresh squeezed OJ. All were great, but what made them even better was the service. Not sure if the young lady was the manager, that saw a line growing and came to get orders taken faster. Nice leadership. The server, Jewel, was exceptional. Very kind, and professional. Checked to see if anything was needed several times, and brought the orders with a smile. She is a definite asset to this store. It's a cute little cafe. I had the chai latte, which was probably one of the best chai lattes I've ever had. My boyfriend had a cappuccino which he enjoyed. For dinner I had the tuna poke bowl and the tuna was beyond fresh and the entire bowl was so delicious. I was impressed. My boyfriend had the chicken sandwich with mozzarella cheese; he said it was delicious. We ended our meal with the pistachio croissant and all I can say is WOW. That croissant was a showstopper, flaky and delicious and filled with the most amazing pistachio cream. This place was definitely five stars.

I stopped by this well-established "bakery" chain for a quick bite. I chose the Pinecrest location because I always thought it was the nicer one. Other locations, particularly Doral, leave a lot to be desired in terms of ambiance. That's not to say this location is anything extraordinary, but at least it feels like a place you'd actually want to sit down and visit. It's been a long time since I last came here. I can't remember if they always stayed open until 9 PM on regular days, but I distinctly remember that on weekends at least, they used to close around 6 PM, and that by 5:30 PM the kitchen was often already shutting down. Because I generally wake up around 2 or 3 PM on weekends, this place became impractical for me long ago. I eventually found far better options closer to home that stay open later and offer a much broader selection of bakery/pastry items, all-day breakfast, while also offering sandwiches, entrées, desserts, and just about everything else. Still, after years of rotating through the same places, my friend and I decided to venture out, especially since I had woken up "early" by my standards. We arrived around 5 PM and I was absolutely floored by the menu prices. Wagyu or not, a smash cheeseburger for $25? A seafood fettuccine for $36? At a 3.6-star corner bakery? Dishes that cost around $18 a few years ago, such as the Black Forest ham and cheese scramble with coffee and orange juice, are now effectively $24 once you add the $2 extra charge for the coffee and small orange juice that used to be included. That's a staggering 33% increase from what was already an expensive meal three years ago. And that percentage doesn't tell the whole story, because even back then their prices were already 30% to 50% higher than many of their competitors. And let's be honest: the supposedly superior ingredients didn't exactly create some unforgettable culinary experience. You'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference between their Black Forest ham and the regular ham served elsewhere. Back to yesterday's visit. I had already driven there and didn't feel like searching for another place. Plus, my usual order at bakeries is a ham and cheese croissant, and that happened to be one of the few things on their menu that hadn't reached absurd pricing territory. At around $8, it's arguably one of their better deals, especially considering that a croissant filled with Nutella or some other typical filling costs roughly the same. Granted, it's not even a traditional ham and cheese croissant like the ones found in 99% of bakeries. It's a smaller version with the ham and cheese baked inside, almost like a pastelito. So when you factor this in, it's equally overpriced. Naturally, destiny enjoys playing jokes on me. The waitress informed me that they had already run out of croissants... at 5 PM... in a bakery supposedly known for its croissants. She then explained that they had shifted "more toward their bistro concept." I couldn't help but wonder: what bistro? Adding a few wildly overpriced restaurant dishes to your menu doesn't magically transform a bakery into a bistro. It simply gives the impression that you've drifted away from your original identity. And that's unfortunate because, as a French bakery, the selection here is already surprisingly limited. Compare them to competitors like Bonjour French Bakery and the difference becomes obvious. They simply can't compete. La Boulangerie mostly offers a handful of pastries and some jarred desserts and calls it a day. As for the coffee, both Bonjour French Bakery and Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar completely outclass them. Their coffee is richer, smoother, more flavorful, their prices are more reasonable, and their menus offer a broad selection, from all day breakfast to sandwiches, entrées, as well as pastas. Which brings me to the giant sign in the middle of the restaurant that proudly says "BAKERY" and to the word "BOULANGERIE" itself, the French term for a bakery specializing in bread and baked goods. Those words have never felt more irrelevant. There's a reason this place sits at a 3.6-star average rating as of this review. Had I seen that beforehand, I never would have driven this far based solely on memories from two years ago. I have a simple rule when it comes to restaurants: I don't go anywhere with less than four stars on Yelp. This visit was a good reminder of why.
