Small, tiny place. Very good to have a quick breakfast before your kids play soccer at tree lakes park.

I had been wanting to try this cafe and realized I was nearby one day and would give it a try. I…read morehave mixed thoughts, so I'll start with the best thing. The food was actually amazing, especially for a casual cafe environment. I had the loaded avocado toast which came with two slices toast with creamy avocado spread across it, cherry tomatoes, a sprinkle of feta cheese, a balsamic vinegar sauce. For my daughter I ordered the waffles with berries. This was slightly smaller than I expected but delicious. So sugary and flavorful. And I had a honey cinnamon latte which I also felt was full of flavor and had lots of cinnamon (I've had this in other places where I felt the flavor and cinnamon were lacking). That being said, it took 24 minutes to get our food which I think is a bit excessive for this environment. There was only one girl working when we were there and lots of people. Also, the bill for all that (plus an apple juice) was $53 and change including tip! (I paid that same amount recently at a cute sit down restaurant where the meal was big enough to have plenty of leftovers). The ambiance had a clean, minimalist aesthetic with pretty decor pieces. It was very quiet too... about halfway through my visit, they turned on some music, but it was still a quiet, calm environment with the music. I prefer a busier, fun type of vibe, but for those who are looking for something very serene and calm this would be an ideal place to relax or get some work done as long as you're willing to wait for your food!

This place was busy which just goes to show that it's good. The service that day was a little slow…read more(but again, it was busy). There was of plenty of seating inside either at a table, couch coffee table or even a barstool along the wall. The bacon, ham, egg, and cheese on a croissant was phenomenal and it came out almost straight away. The flan latte took a little longer, but I was ensured it was made with a lot of love...it was true. It was delicious.

I've always seen it, just never ordered it because I figured it was "just" guava and cheese. Big mistake. This is hands down one of the best guava and cheese pastries I've ever had, and I grew up eating these. Perfect balance, not overly sweet, and just done right. I had to come on here and say something. Definitely don't skip it.

Everything we tried was delicious! 10/10 recommend the mushroom and manchego toast. The avocado and…read moreegg toast was huge and loaded up with egg and avocado; we shared it amongst 3 of us and still didn't finish it. Each toast was between $16-$18. Our lattes were a bit pricier than I'm used to (around $8 each) and as expected for a latte. All of the pan, sweets, and pastries were tasty and fresh. The space was crowded when we came in but we were able to get a small table and enjoy our meal. The staff was nice, friendly, and patient with my parents who do not speak Spanish (which was appreciated). Not pictured: almond croissant & key lime tarte (to go, and around $15 total) which were both fresh and tasty. We also ordered a quesadilla (about $6) which had a sweet cheese filling baked atop/in the middle of the dough. One downside... YOU, the customer, has to pay the credit card fee of 3+%, which I did find off putting after spending over $75 in their establishment. I could see if it was under a $10 purchase, but when you're spending $75+ it feels like sneaky business to pay the stores credit card fee (which is a business expense on their end), while also covering the tip and taxes, which are expected.

It's conveniently located next to a car wash, so while I was inside eating, my car was getting cleaned outside. You really can't beat that The food was great. I had some French toast and a coffee, and even with just a few bites you can tell they care about what they're serving. What really stood out was the atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and you can tell they have a strong group of regulars. It's the kind of place where you don't feel like a customer, you feel like you're stepping into a family environment. There's a real sense of culture and community that you can't fake. A lot of people look for a vibe when choosing a restaurant. Here the vibe is family. Great food, good energy, and if you come at the right time you might leave with a clean car too.

The second you step through the door, you're transported. The ambience is warm, inviting, and full of character. The decor feels intentional and authentic--not staged or commercialized, but real. It has that lived-in Cuban charm, with rich colors, cultural touches, and details that make you want to slow down, look around, and just exist in the space for a while. It's the kind of place where you can sit, sip your coffee, and forget about whatever stress you walked in with. Now the food... wow. I've had Cuban food in many places, and I can honestly say this felt as close to authentic as it gets. Every bite tasted like it was made with care, tradition, and pride. And the croqueta preparada... easily the BEST I've ever had. No exaggeration. The balance of textures and flavors was absolutely perfect. The croquetas were crispy on the outside, rich and creamy on the inside, and combined with the bread and fillings, it was pure perfection. You could tell everything was fresh and made the right way--not rushed, not mass-produced, but crafted. Then there's the coffee... and this is where they truly separate themselves from everyone else. The coffee was on another level completely. Smooth, rich, bold, and full of flavor without being bitter. It had that authentic Cuban intensity but was incredibly enjoyable and balanced. You can tell they take their coffee seriously. This isn't just coffee--it's an experience. What really makes this place stand out beyond the food and coffee is the feeling. It feels genuine. It feels like culture. It feels like passion. Places like this are rare. This isn't just somewhere you go to eat and leave. It's somewhere you go to enjoy, relax, and appreciate. I can say with complete confidence that I'll be coming back again and again. If you're even thinking about trying this place, do yourself a favor and go. You won't regret it. Absolutely incredible
