Having had a quick workday lunch and walked around the mall, I had worked up an appetite. I was seated in a corner table for two and my order was taken. The restaurant did not seem that crowded even for a Friday night but it felt like a long wait. Unlike many Cuban places, they don't offer complimentary bread. I ordered their "platanos a tentacion" (bacon wrapped sweet plantains), grilled chicken and moros. The rice was a little hard and the chicken breast on the small side and barely seasoned other than the onions garnishing it. Service didn't feel very attentive for me as a solo diner. Between finishing my dinner and waiting to order either dessert or cafecito, I also sat and waited until a waitress finally came by. At that point, I just got the coffee and my check. I don't believe I was offered a printed receipt, just the card terminal. I asked if the tip was included and pretty much in time when I was putting the usual tip (trying to be generous with 20 percent) I was told that it was a service charge, and that the tip was extra, but had full amounts starting with 18%. So basically I paid 30% tip for a small portion of food and inattentive service. Looking back, I see that this restaurant had a different name and I had enjoyed dinner at their other location six years back. It's disappointing to see how it has fallen off. As it were, a lot of the original creative items on the menu are no longer being offered.

I have been to the restaurant about 2 months ago and i left feeling ok. Today i went with some family members and friends that have been wanting to visit for months, about 6 of us. I must say it is a HUGE difference since the first time we were there. i was greeted at the door by everyone, i was shocked and happy at the same time, we ordered and waited about 10 minutes for our food, and i must say it was AWESOME!!!!!! The server was very attentive and checked up on us, as did the the General Manager when he introduced himself and got refills for everyone at the table, overall it was a amazing experience and myself and family and friends will definitely be back. I want to finish with this comment that made my day and left me in tears, we were talking about the events that are happening with all the people getting shot, as the manager was bringing our refills and we asked him what he thought he looked at me and said, we need to stay humble,and love each other no matter where you are from. We need more people with that mentality!!! read more

I found this restaurant on Yelp and was really impressed. It's in a weird area but the inside is the total opposite of its surroundings. It's super cute and has great music. There was a leak in the ceiling though, however, and it was super cold for some reason. I got the pincho burger with an egg and fries. My aunt got the vaca frita. My grandma got the shrimp and rice bowl California style. My burger was great but huge and messy. The egg was amazing. My grandma LOVED her bowl. I tried it and it was the bomb. My aunt loved her vaca frita so much, too, but said she would've done it without the avocado. Overall- super cute restaurant, creative and yummy food, but nothing to die for read more

Did a take out order. Staff was nice. Food came out pretty quick and was packaged well. I had a little bit of a drive to get home but to my surprise food was still good. Not to greasy either. The buns were still good which is what I was surprised about. I have never had a bad experience at pincho. If you haven't eaten there you should. I love the fritanga burger. That's my favorite. For months, TikTok has been harassing me with videos of Pronto Café in Hialeah, claiming they have the King of Pan con Bistec. I kept scrolling thinking, Relax it's just a sandwich. Well. TikTok owes me an apology because they actually UNDERSOLD this thing. I live in Weston, about 45 minutes away, and today I happened to be working nearby. I called my wife and proudly announced, Don't cook! I'm bringing home the famous pan con bistec. Walked in spotless place, awesome people, fast service, and a supermarket right next door. Everything was going according to plan. Dropped my wife's lunch off, got back in the truck, and told myself, Be an adult you'll eat yours when you get to your next stop. That sandwich had other plans. It was sitting in the passenger seat smelling so good it felt like it was whispering. You ain't making it another mile, big boy. I tried ignoring it. Turned the radio up. Didn't work. Rolled the windows down. Didn't work. Started talking to myself. You're 50 something lol years old show some self-control. The sandwich said. Self-control? Not today. Then, because Florida likes to add drama to everything, the skies opened up and a biblical thunderstorm hit. Now picture this. One hand on the steering wheel. One hand holding the greatest pan con bistec known to mankind. Rain coming down sideways. Cars hydroplaning... Windshield wipers moving faster than a DJ scratching records. And me smiling like I just won the lottery because every bite was worth risking my dry cleaning bill. I was driving so slow people probably thought I was transporting grandma's wedding cake. Nope. I was protecting the sandwich. And let me tell you if that sandwich had fallen on the floor, we'd be having a state funeral. Now let's talk about the robbery. I got: Pan con bistec Steak, rice, beans & maduros Flan Two drinks FOR UNDER $30!! I looked at the receipt three times thinking somebody forgot to charge me for something. At today's prices, I expected them to say, That'll be $97.43. Instead, I almost asked if they needed a hug because those prices are unreal. If you're anywhere in South Florida Miami, Broward, Palm Beach, or Mars if Elon drops you off go to Pronto Café. Find my man on TikTok. Try the sandwich. Then come back and tell me I was wrong. I'll wait. (But I already know you won't.) Brother you officially earned your crown. THE KING OF PAN CON BISTEC. Next time I'm bringing the whole family and I'm eating mine in the parking lot because there is ZERO chance that sandwich is making it back to Weston.

When we arrived the dining room was completely empty, which allowed us to sit down in total peace. Wendy greeted us with a smile, welcomed us, and gave us several excellent recommendations from the menu. We ordered to share a lechón sandwich and a pan con bistec (beefsteak sandwich), both cut into several pieces to make sharing easier, along with an order of fried ripe plantains and two beers. Both sandwiches arrived generous in size, with fresh bread and abundant filling. The lechón was juicy and flavorful, while the pan con bistec lived up to the sign that claims "El Mejor Pan con Bistec de Hialeah." The fried ripe plantains were perfect, sweet, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Even though the dining room was empty, we could see the large volume of Uber Eats and DoorDash orders, plus many people constantly arriving to place takeout orders. It's clear the business has strong delivery and takeout demand. The atmosphere is simple and typical of a good Cuban café in the area clean and functional. The service was attentive and friendly. Overall, a very good first impression. Generous portions, authentic flavor, and cordial service. We will definitely be back.
