Great food always super dining here ambient is great and prices are right. This is the place to eat

I've been a loyal customer here for a long time, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I ordered food to take home as I usually do, planning to bring it for lunch the next day. As always, I went straight home (I live just around the corner), put the food in my refrigerator within minutes, and the next morning transported it to work where it went directly back into the fridge. By lunchtime, when I reheated it, the food was clearly spoiled. The smell was so strong it filled the entire lunchroom--honestly embarrassing and completely unacceptable. There is no reason properly prepared, fresh food should spoil that quickly under normal refrigeration. Because I've supported this place for so long, I came back the next day to let them know--respectfully--so they could address it. Instead, I was met with terrible customer service. The young lady at the front directed me to a man she said was the manager (someone I've never seen before despite being a frequent customer). While I explained the situation, he repeatedly rolled his eyes, acted dismissive, and then had the audacity to blame me--saying I should have tried the food before leaving. That response alone was unacceptable, but it didn't stop there. As I walked away, he made an insulting comment, and when I asked him to repeat it, he ignored me and walked off. I work hard all day and just expect a decent, safe meal--not rotten food and disrespect. Had this been handled with basic professionalism and accountability, I would not be writing this review. To the owner: please do better with the people you trust to represent your business. I will be reporting this to the health inspectors. read more

I've come here many times though out the years and this was by far the best time. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. I was in the area recently with the family and stopped at this informal cuban food restaurant for lunch the Media noche and bocadito sandwiches were good tasting, full of meat, cheese we had some delicious tasting fruit batidos (milk shakes) the wheat and mamey are especially delicious. Service is attentive and personal the ambiance was low key with ample parking and fair pricing. The deserts were too sweet (flan, natilla catalana-creme brulee). I rate about 3.75. read more

I ordered a Cuban pork sandwich that was delivered with several different meats and a little Swiss cheese but no pickles or any other vegetables. Came for a party and they gave out tables away. Didn't have enough servers. Manager really messed this up. I've an hour waiting for food. Then they bring the wrong food and say take it or keep waiting. They ran out of regular utensils and started giving out plastic utensils. I am not sure what kind of place accepts a party forever 50 people and messes it up so bad. Crazy to think they make money. read more

Caribe is a family oriented cuban spot that deserves a second look. My husband goes every Sunday morning for his coffee and the staff always has it ready once they see his truck pulling in. Another special thing about this place is the bartender, Jorge. He's so detail oriented, clean, and makes sitting at the bar a smooth and enjoyable experience. Very nice man. Takes pride in his work. We went out to Caribe Restaurant to celebrate my Birthday this past Saturday  We were a party of 12.  The food was amazing,  there was live music.  Anel, was a wonderful server.  She always has the best customer service. We have sat with her on previous visits to the restaurant. Anel greated everyone with a smile. We ordered food for 30 people for a birthday party: Imperial rice, pork, moro rice, yuca, plantains... the amount of Imperial rice we received was enough for 60+ppl... however, the amount of pork and rice and yuca was maybe for 20ppl. maybe Imperial rice was ok. it had good flavor but instead of just chicken, it included chicken, ham, and sausage. Honestly I love the food here. Me and my family do come often with my family I just haven't had a chance to check in. The reason for the 3 stars was simply that I received a coupon for a free dessert if we spent over 15 dollars. We spent over $90 so we definitely qualified for it. I showed the server & she says she's never seen that before so she went to speak to the manager and the manager told her NO That they don't know how to use the coupon and they wouldn't honor it because it wasn't in the system to ring up a free dessert ?? Lol I was confused they SHOULD of honored it. Whatever that was the only thing. The food Here is great if your into Cuban food. The server gave great service beside the fact of not honoring the coupon. But definitely try it out - Manager should of stepped up and came to speak to me. read more

Éste restaurant ha bajado mucho de calidad. La comida ya no está tan buena como hace tiempo atrás, pero Si deciden ir a comer a este restaurant vayan con la mente preparada qué la orden la van a traer incorrecta. En tres diferentes ocasiones nos han traído la comida como no la hemos pedido, en vez de huevos fritos me trajeron huevos revueltos otra ocasión en vez de un pan con tortilla con sólo queso como yo avía pedido, me lo trajeron con jamón y lechuga. En otra ocasión pedí un pan con bistec sólo con mayonesa papita y queso americano para llevar y cuando llegué a donde iba una hora de distancia no me lo pude comer porque tenía cebolla lechuga y tomate cosa que yo especifiqué que no quería. He pedido hablar con el manager dos veces y las dos veces me ha mandado a decir que le deje un mensaje este mensaje es para JUAN el manager de Caribe. JUAN hay que escuchar a los clientes y tratar de resolver el problema, cómo va está muy mal. Good food, great service but the loud ragaeton music during diner is absolutely HORRIBLE , I'm not here to dance I'm here for dinner.

Went this morning and had a pretty bad experience during our visit. Been coming here for a while. We probably sat down around 7:30 AM, the dinning room floor felt super sticky and slippery as if we were in the kitchen where food is being fried. Clearly it was not cleaned or moped properly. We asked for fresh croquetas and they tasted old and cold. The waitress said they were fresh but she got them out of a heater bin. She also dropped the food tongs after grabbing our croqueta & placed it back, without washing it. There was a live roach coming from the kitchen area running into and around the dinning room just a table away from where we were sitting. That was the last straw. We got up to pay for a bill that we felt we shouldn't have but just wanted to be out of there. I told the waitress about the roach and she said the manager complains all the time about the roaches. Assuming this is an on going issue. The roach was never killed, probably still alive as we speak . I recorded and took a pic of this. The water tasted like sewage & the food was not up to par. read more

We came here for breakfast since we were craving some cuban toast. We got there and we sat and i got up to see if we had to order at the counter of someone was going to get the order and this lady was just like theres two servers outside I was like ok. So someone came to get out order the waiter was super nice . We had a caribe breakfast special which was scramble or sunny side up eggs , bacon or sausage with cuban toast, papas de la casa and cafe con leche. The good was good average food . The only problem was when i actually checked in with an order of more than 15$ the restaurant was giving a free desert when i brought this to the waiter attention he was not aware and he called the manager. Well the manager was like well we dont work with yelp and I was like oh ok how weird and he did not gave us anything. After the waiter told us that they had an special in their website that they were giving a free flan if we posted something. That was nice of him however the manager did not even told us that which I think is rude and unprofessional . At the end the waiter gave us the flan which it was nice of him and he provided an excellent service. read more
