This is definitely a hidden gem of Miami. We visited on a Friday around 7pm, thankfully they were able to seat us right away. Came here while on vacay with the Mrs. We were automatically greeted by Sarah. She was very courteous. We then had the opportunity to opportunity serviced by Si. She was such a sweet lady towards us. Had us smiling and laughing often throughout the night. She proved us with any answers we needed. We decided to go with the Combo #1. We loved the fact that you can substitute. Neither of us like clams, so we substituted it for 1/2 lb of snow crab legs. We added eggs, broccoli and corn (You can choose 3 sides). Everything came out nice and hot. So we went searching... and Cajun Boil on Flagler came up strong. They have four locations (Plantation, Hollywood, Brickell, and this Sweetwater/Flagler spot), but this was our first experience -- and it did not disappoint. Location & Vibe Yes, it's tucked into a hole-in-the-wall style shopping plaza. But... welcome to Miami. That's how we do. Don't let the exterior fool you. Once inside, the ambiance is -- eclectic art, cool energy, about 15-20 tables with a mix of booth and open seating. Pro tip: I wouldn't bring more than 8-9 people. Booth seating is limited. What We Ordered We went with Combo #6: * Lobster tail * Snow crab * Clams * Shrimp And Fried Calamari. We added Cajun spice and chose mild (temperature-sensitive kid in tow ). Normally, for review purposes, we'd go hot -- but my son admitted we can probably graduate to medium next time. That's growth. They also offer an all-you-can-eat option around $40, but we ordered à la carte and I'm glad we did. The Food Hot. Fresh. Flavorful. The clams felt endless -- like we accidentally unlocked a bonus round. The Cajun seasoning was balanced and satisfying. Is it the best boil I've ever had? Visited Cajun Boil with our party of 5. It was a cute little restaurant with friendly staff and delicious Cajun seafood. We did the medium sauce and it was just right. Probably the best sauce we've tasted. The lobster Mac/cheese and Cajun Chicken fried rice was SO good. I highly recommend the rice. We did the mojitos and they were really good as well. I ordered the Shrimp 2 Pound ($11.50) - The Ultimate Sauce had a combination of all of their sauces. The Shrimp were jumbo and juicy!! Crawfish 3 Pound ($14.50) - Lemon Pepper seasoning and the crawfish was also so fat and juicy and we killed it all!!! Lobster Tail ($17.50) - They cut the lobster tail in half for it to be easier to eat. However, it was so fat that I thought they gave me 2 lobster tails Snow King Crab Legs ($22.50) - The legs were thick!! Had so much meat inside and definitely worth your time cracking!! Char- Grilled Oysters ($18.99) - These aren't pictured but these were my favorite! It was a bit sweet and savory Overall the sizes of the seafoods were huge and amazing!! However they did lack a bit of seasoning. The sauce tasted more watered down and not as buttery (with no spicy compared to the Mild and Medium sauce). The quality of the shrimp and crab legs was very fresh and it was seasoned wonderfully. Our food was served nice and hot which is sometimes not the case at other boil bag restaurants. Yuki was our server she was super sweet and very attentive. Must try the gator bites and the lobster Mac and cheese!! It gets messy eating with your hands but Yuki stayed on top of everything and gave us gloves, bibs, wet wipes and cleared the table so it didn't feel overwhelming. The only reason we didn't get the boil was because we were wearing white shirts! Our neighbors were going to town on one and we were jealous. The noodles sure were garlicky and needed a pinch of salt, but very good. The alligator bites weren't bad, just a little over fried for my liking, the drink wasn't was good as it looked but refreshing as it was humid as hell outside, but the rice....superb.
