came for a solo lunch and it was so fun! the waiter (young guy with curly hair) was so kind and attentive. I got the snow crab and shrimp boil with the boom seasoning side of fries and a coke totaling about 41 without tax which I think is a good price! the fries were crunchy but fluffy in the middle which is a goooood fry. the boil seasoning was awesome and came with 2 potatoes and a corn. paper towels are ready at the table and so is a trash bucket which I appreciate. will come back! Has to be a crazy place to work seeing people all up in their food haha but everyone was so kind read more

I came here on a Tuesday, there were many tables available and there were only a few tables sat. All staff were friendly, the waitress arrived promptly. My mango margarita was 2 for 1 so I loved that, it was also pretty good, right balance of flavor. Shoutout to bartender :) The calamari was ok, nothing special about it, But not bad. However, The seafood boil was finger licking good, I would order it again. We were there on a Tuesday, they had a dj which created a fun vibe & many people were up and dancing. So if you're looking to have some fun at dinner in the area, this is a cool place although I must say the music is a bit too loud, my ears were hurting. Also, our waitress was very sweet but she did forget to bring the box I waited for almost half an hour but I asked someone else and they brought it right away so it was cool. read more

This place would get 4 stars if the service wasn't so horrendous. And the worst part about it is they are so nice you can't really be rude to or mad at them. It's like crappy service with a smile 2 stars for service. We came here for dinner w friends, and the place was not packed at all, but it was painfully slow service. Nobody is at the front to greet you. So you're like do ppl even work here. Then once you sit down, they come to your table, but to get them to come back is like pulling teeth. We coulda walked out without paying the check bc NO ONE COMES BACK. But we'd never do that. Aside from that, the food and drinks are really good. I started with a Moscow Mule, which tasted like a basic delicious Moscow Mule. For dinner, I started with the house salad, which the ingredients didn't really make sense to me and it wasn't like a typical House salad, but it was salad. For my meal, I had snow crab and shrimp, the boom seasoning and medium spice. The seafood is fresh and the flavor was a little spicy. But good spice. It took a while to get water from our waitress. We had to ask someone else for those like shell cracker things and forget about lil forks to get the meat out. Again. The service was crap. But w a smile. We ended the meal with the ice cream and brownie dessert, which was super basic and tasted like from a box. I probably wouldn't have it again. And on that note, I probably wouldn't come back here bc of the service, especially with other seafood boil places around. read more

The 3 stars are for how nice the people were. They were so kind and friendly that I'm sad to leave a less than stellar review but it's the most I can give. The good- the boils were delicious, well cooked and fun to eat. There were 8 of us and they had a table for us that was comfortable for everyone. There was even a wobbly chair and they switched it out right away. The not so good1 The place had maybe 5 tables when we arrived and 2-3 servers so chances are you'd get fast service. Our meal took 3 hours!!! 3 hours!!! We ordered drinks and they took forever. There were few customers so not sure what the bartender was busy with. Even the bucket of beer, which should have been easy, took a long time. We sat down at 7:22pm and got our appetizers at 8:30p. Our drinks came out 10 minutes later. The entrees came out at 9:25p. The fish in the fish and chips had zero flavor. Everything else was good except the fried clams which also lacked flavor. Not sure if its the same batter.. The worst thing was their choice of programming on the television. They showed Bullet Train and John Wick and no it wasn't a PG version. We said something about it but they never changed it. We were further away so the blood and gore on the 10ft screen didn't interfere with dinner but what were they thinking? Lastly, they dont check their restrooms very often. One of the ladies stalls was in a state I cant describe here. I said something and it was cleaned right away but shouldn't they be checking? read more

We went after lunch but before dinner. We ordered the fried fish with coleslaw, the fried shrimp with onion rings and The crab fries. Everything was pretty good except for the fries. I would not recommend them. The service was super good. She Was exceptional. Taking time to guide us through the menu. The ambiance was okay. Just a regular restaurant. Would o recommend it? Don't know if I would but maybe you should come for yourself. read more

I don't recommend this place. It is sticky and doesn't feel super clean. Additionally, I got the crab legs boil and got food poisoning and was sick for days. Stay away. I won't be back read more

1 cluster - 1/2 pound for $18 is ridiculous. not to mention we pay $22 on the uber app. I wish I could include the picture. Words do no justice. Everything else was good though, I love the black mussels, head shrimp are really good and the sauce was nice and thick. read more

I love this place and I love how big it is! The food is great and so are the drinks. Only reason it's getting 4 stars is because the service is not all that good. It always takes a while to order food or to find someone available. This place definitely needs to hire more folks read more

Had a great time and I'll definitely be back. My wife loved this spot. It was exactly what she wanted.

Food was good not the best seafood boil I've ever had. The crab legs weren't steamed enough and some of them were freezing cold. I recommend you get the calamari. Service was super slow, the girl was rlly nice but wasn't there when you needed her and took forever to get the check. read more

it makes me so sad to give this review. This was one of the most awful meals I've had in a long time. The seafood was drenched in salt and butter, so it was hard to even taste the seafood. When we asked to just get a few things steamed, they came out so rubbery that we couldn't eat them. The service was awful. If you asked for some butter, it took 15 minutes. If you want great seafood, go to Captains Tavern on S. Dixie Highway. and by the way, we spent over $100 for this. read more

I've been to many seafood boil locations and even different crafty crabs, this location just missed the mark with their seasoning. Usually the sauce in a boil is rich and flavorful and not overpowering but this was none of that. All i tasted was the cajun spices and the sauce was gritty. We spent a good chunk of money on this and was very disappointed. read more

Crafty Crab The Falls - Our happy birthday event! - Seafood Near Me - Miami, Florida

Everything about this place is AMAZING! The decor, the ambiance, the employees; it was all beyond exceptional. From the minute my boyfriend and I walked in to the Crafty Crab the vibes were so good we were instantly in a good mood. There were screens around the bar playing sports and a giant screen at the back of the restaurant playing football. There were a good 5 birthdays being celebrated, a good amount of people walking in and hugging not just other guests but also hostesses and wait staff and the energy was on another level. Whoever hired the staff at this restaurant knew what they were doing because everyone here was an absolute pleasure to be around. To begin with, the hostess was so sweet and genuine! What a great asset to this restaurant. Our server, Gigi, was amazing! She was extremely kind, attentive, and had great recommendations. We began with a round of drinks; I had a hurricane and my boyfriend had a vodka redbull. The hurricane was delicious! Halfway through my drink, Gigi told me that I should definitely try the Lychee Martini. I took her recommendation and I'm so happy I did. Delicious! She passed by the table a few sips in to make sure I was satisfied and when I told her I was she smiled excitedly and responded "I knew you would love it!" She was just so personable! For dinner we ordered calamari, a fried oysters basket and a Cajun boil of crab, shrimp and crawfish. Where else can you get crawfish in Miami!? Everything tasted great and my boyfriend was happily going to town on the food. After noticing I was downing ranch like it was water, Gigi came around and dropped off another ranch without me even asking for it. Overall, my boyfriend and I absolutely loved the experience and already cannot wait to come back! If you're debating whether or not to try this new addition to the pinecrest area, do it! read more

I often come to Miami for business, the last few times I've come to this restaurant. As a native midwesterner, I come from a state with huge portion sizes and generally friendly service. Every time the service has been outstanding, and the food has been plentiful, delicious, and fresh. I am always blown away by the LACK of people in the place eating. Legitimately hasn't been more than 25% full any of the times I have come. (Late lunch/Early dinner generally). If you're on the fence, I highly recommend giving it a shot. I get the Headless Shrimp and some Sausage in the Cajun/Garlic spice combo my server recommended. Shout out to my server Dalay, she was friendly and sweet the entire time. read more

I am obsessed with this place!!!!!! The food is absolutely amazing and the lobster special they have at the moment is definitely worth it. The gumbo soup is amazing, you can get it with rice or without. They also now have fried rice. Drink specials every day. And of course the boil omg the boil!!! I literally just pick up boom sauce and take it home to mix in with my dinner. Listen this place is delicious it's a must go !!! read more

Great flavor. Got a few of the boil bags. We all had the Cajun flavor and I got it in medium which was super good. The mild was good too but the medium had extra spice. Crab, crawfish, shrimp, and corn were good. Loved the sausage and potatoes. Hush puppies were amazing. For dessert got the cheesecake which was average, would pass on it next time. Crab cakes were good. All food came out really quick. Staff was also very nice, management came around asking us how everything was. read more

Now Crafty Crab never lets us down. It is close by to where I live so I can quickly get there for take out or to dine in. This is the place I want to be when I'm craving all kinds of seafood. I love how they bring it out in a bubbled bag. I don't know why I have so much fun with the bibs and gloves, I feel like they are so sweet for caring enough about our clothes that we should wear a huge bib of protection lol. I say let those juices flow cause I be slapping those shrimp up like no tomorrow Service is always great so we have never had a problem with the waiters and waitresses so that's a big A+ from me. I will continue to go back to Crafty Crab from here on out. It's definitely my place for sure. read more

Ok this was a nice surprise. We literally could not figure out where to get dinner one night and ended up here. What a fun experience. Nice server, kind of slow, but honestly they were all pretty young so I didn't fault them for that. The food was really good. We split a boil. Cajun style & medium heat. I love SEAFOOD BOILS but crafty crab is probably one of my favorite places. It is pricey but SOOOOOO delicious. I usually get the crab with shrimps, potato, corn & sausage! I get the boom which is a mix of all the seasoning. I do recommend doing the mild to enjoy the food I got the medium once and it was too spicy! Lastly, THE LYCHEE DRINKS ARE SO YUMMY! 10/10 food 8/10 price read more

my sister and I were very excited about coming to this restaurant for a delicious seafood dinner, but unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant though I would like to. read more

Let's start with the food. It was pretty darn good. I had a boil 1/2 lb crab legs and 1/2 lb headless shrimp. I got the lemon pepper medium spice and it was perfect seasoning and spice. I also ordered the steam scallops with lemon pepper hot and these were good. I wanted the scallops to come out first but waiter must have forgot to put it in that way. However, not so much of a big deal in the end. Now for drinks , these took a long time. We finally seen our drinks at the bar ready but server was waiting another table so not entirely his fault because we counted many times servers and even the lady manager walk by them and didn't even think to deliver to the customers. It should be a team effort here, and since it was not the case, the overall experience dwindles. The restaurant has potential and the ambiance could be improved with better customer service and enthusiasm from the team. Overall, I would go back because the food was really good but I just hope service improves. read more

GREAT seafood, quality AND it's a great value! My husband first thought it wasn't going to be enough for 2 (he LOVES seafood), but we ended up taking quite a bit home. We ordered Boom mild and that was still a bit spicy, so next time we'll just have it without the Cajun sauce. read more

The service, drinks and food were great! I highly recommend this location. I will be returning soon.

My son and I recently went to Crafty Crab and we ate both so happy we did. I am allergic to shellfish so I was nervous. I had been craving catfish and we both ordered the fried catfish. Our waitress Yeney was amazing!! I explained to my food allergies and she let the kitchen staff know as well. They started a new batch of oil for our. We ordered two fried catfish and one order of calamari. EXCELLENT!!!!! Plenty of food. I couldn't eat all of mine so my son ate it. Catfish and Calamari were cooked to perfection! The place was clean, service was amazing and the food was excellent!! Will definitely be going back very soon!! read more

I was looking for a late night dinner restaurant and Crafty Crab showed up on my iPhone Maps search. I was happy to see they were open until 11 p.m. on a Sunday night. This location use to be a mediocre Red Lobster for many years, so I was looking forward to seeing what this new restaurant had to offer. Our waiter, Sebastian, was extremely attentive and helpful when we had questions about the menu. Food came out pretty fast! The scallops had a great mix of the lemon pepper and crafty cajun seasoning. We asked for the same seasoning mix with our combination boil. The combo was fire! Overall, no complaints -- the food and service was excellent. Looking forward to coming back soon to try a different combo. read more

I rated this as a 1 star which they should really get NO star at all. We were actually LIED to. If you are allergic to shellfish food DO NOT GO THERE. THEY DO NOT ACCOMMODATE TO THIS TYPE OF ALLERGY. We were told twice IN TWO DIFFERENT OCCASIONS that they do accommodations for people with shellfish allergies but we were told today that they DO NOT. If this were a good restaurant they would accommodate but instead they lied. So BEWARE. THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT THEY HAVE 2 fryers, 1 for regular frying shrimp and other foods & the other for the ppl that have an allergy ALL FALSE ALL NOT TRUE ALL A LIE.
