Bonefish is always a good option for an impromptu lunch or dinner with family and friends, especially on Sundays. It's nice to make reservations on their website to skip the long line. Once there, we're greeted with smiles and seated right away. We were served by Monica, who was attentive, knowledgeable and simply pleasant. She quickly brought us our endless bubbles & bloody Mary's and loaf of their delicious rustic, warm bread and spiced olive oil for dipping. What we had: * BFG Tuna Steak & Eggs - Ahi yellowfin tuna steak cooked medium rare, two sunny side up eggs, toast with a side of their mouth watering garlicky mash potatoes. * Chilean Sea Bass - cooked so perfectly, it'll melt in your mouth. So tender, juicy, and flaky. This dish is always a winner in my book! Served with green beans and mash potatoes. * Georges Bank Scallops (no shrimp due to allergies) - ask for double scallops and they are more than happy to oblige. Served with Ceasar salad and mash potatoes. The prices are very reasonable, the service is great, and the food is delicious. The bathrooms on the other hand, could use some attention. They are simi clean and the trash cans are at times overflowing. This is why they don't get the full 5 stars. read more

We had been to many Bonefish locations in different states and cities, but this was our first visit at the Kendall location. We came here with our daughter for Valentine's Day. We had a reservation for 5 pm, and it was already busy when we got there. Within an hour it was absolutely packed. They had added more tables to the dining room which made it a bit challenging navigating to the bathroom (especially with a 3-year-old), but everyone was really friendly. The food was incredible. I had a Blackberry Red sangria or two... haha, and it was the perfect mixture of refreshing sweetness and wine. We ordered Bang Bang shrimp as our appetizer as we always do. I think most people have had this but, if not, the slight heat flavor is great combined with the crispiness of the shrimp. Our daughter had popcorn chicken and fries (not pictured), which the server kindly brought out first. Oh and of course the delicious bread. For his meal, my husband had the Lobster Ravioli. The serving size isn't huge, but he liked the flavor. I ordered a special off the Valentine's menu - the Lobster (imperial style) Stuffed Shrimp. It came with a lemony garlic sauce, broccoli, and jasmine rice. Every bite of this meal was so delicious. The lobster shrimp combo was so tasty, and even the broccoli was seasoned and buttered to perfection. For dessert we had the Seasonal Creme Brulee for which the flavor was chocolate. It came with frozen cranberries on top. I have honestly not had a dessert this good in who knows how long. The three of us were enraptured with how good it was. I didn't catch our server's name, but she was so friendly and attentive. She interacted with our 3-year-old so much and so well which is so above and beyond, but it made things go so smoothly for us and our daughter (whom we do not bring a screen for to restaurants), and she entertained all the random things my daughter wanted to tell her. In all we had a great experience, and I'm glad this is where we ended up going for Valentine's Day this year! read more

Good service. Nice ambiance (uncomfortable freezing cold) and good food. The friends I went with thought it was amazing and gave it a 5/5. I gave it a 4/5 because my dish was cold and it was crab cakes. One of the ladies thought the French toast was undercooked, but she kept it. The salmon salad, the shrimp and grits and the eggs Benedict were the other dishes that were great! The mocktails were also great! The server was really sweet and accommodating and went above and beyond and for that, Angie (the server) is the star of the experience 5/5! I'll go back but try something else next time. Check them out and enjoy! read more

I had a much better experience at bonefish this time around. The waiter was ready to cater to our needs. When we got to the restaurant there weren't many guest so our waiter was excited to have us. My friend and I went for happy hour. The happy hour specials they have are a really good deal and the drinks are fantastic. My one tiny issue was the restaurant was insanely cold. It was freezing and all of the guest around our table were complaining about the cold. read more

My favorite on this visit was the Bang Bang shrimp and Bang Bang Shrimp tacos. Followed by the Crab-Topped Bang fries. My least favorite was the calamari. Dessert was ok, we chose the brownie and it didn't wow me at all. But great service and chill ambience, it was barely busy when we went, made for an enjoyable experience and I'll be back :) You can order online and do curbside pick up. Nice ambience with quiet atmosphere. We opted for the bar bites and drinks in the bar area. The drinks were good. We tried to appetizers which were good but I liked the shrimp toast better than the tuna. I wish the tuna had a spicy sauce instead. Our service was good. read more

Julie was not our server but I have to write a review. She is such a hard worker, sweet and kind ask for her when you visit. My food was good. Visited with a large group of 16 for a work dinner. For the size of our group we had one server but he covered the group well. It probably helped that the restaurant seemed fairly empty other than a few smaller groups. We ordered some apps and drinks that all came out pretty fast. Our entrees were a wide range of menu offerings but everyone seemed to enjoy them. They were also very accommodating with any specialty requests as well. There are lots of great options for groups in the area but bonefish is a reliable choice, especially if you're looking for seafood. read more

The short version: This October 30th the Bonefish grill had a Halloween menu we used to celebrate the running group's October birthdays. Service was top notch and the food was overall very good. The Experience: We are a large, scandalous group, so when the person who wanted to make the reservations called, they said they couldn't accommodate so man people (around 14 or 15 people). which was weird because once we got there (which I hear took a bit of convincing from one person from our party to the restaurant people), most of the other tables were of about the same number of people each, so I don't really understand the resistance. Anyway, once there, the service was excellent. from the moment we got in to the moment we left, everyone in the staff was friendly, helpful... and patient. Yes, not only we are a big party, we do what we want to enjoy the night, which, sometimes, yes, we know restaurants have their systems and people moving tables and ordering "a la carte" mess up that system... but how does it make sense to put two people on a separate table, when we have space where we are to add that table? Well, once we were all seated, the courses started coming. This time I remembered to take pictures before eating them, so take a look - especially to the menu, which has the exact description of the plates and the drinks-. Course 1: The most excellent dish of the night came first. The appetizer, an apple crostini. LOVED IT!!! Perfect sweet and savory balance between the apple the goat cheese, the honey, the arugula etc. Drink 1: Phantom's web A nice drink, a bit dry but overall very nice complement to the appetizer. came with a tiny plastic spider to give it personality. Course 2: The Vodoo Shrimp pasta is a black pasta with a pumpkin sauce and three shrimp on top Halloween menu. It came a bit cold, but don't hold it against the restaurant. There was a lot of costumers and getting all around at the same time is a logistic nightmare, but everyone got their plate and, even though I'm not a fan of anything pumpkin the pasta was pretty good... the shrimp were a tad overcooked, so the texture was a bit chewy, but the flavor was really good. Drink 2: Vampire's Delight A bit too sweet and fruity. The bloody hypodermic was a nice touch, but the drink didn't do it for me. Course 3 Barbecue Pineapple Tequila Mahi-Mahi What surprised me the most here was the side of roasted squash, which I actually enjoyed even though it's usually not my thing. The rice was ok, if not a bit hard and chewy, and the mahi-mahi itself was decent, but the barbecue-tequila glaze on top of it was, again, way too sweet and overpowered every other flavor. Drink 3: Diablo's Dream: This was AWESOME! highly recommended tequila drink with strawberry and jalapeño... It doesn't really do anything for the sweetness of the mahi-mahi, as the menu says... though, maybe, the sweetness of the mahi-mahi does bring out the flavor of the drink and make it better. Course 4: Tequila bites It wasn't bad but what it amounts to is a bunch of fried dough cubes you dip on the most delicious tequila-lime icing. Not bad, but nothing really special. Drink 4: Sorceress Spell A Very. Nice. Digestive. Loved it. not as much as the Diablo's Dream, but loved it nevertheless. We aso got cheesecakes (not in the Halloween menu) for the october-birthdays-people. Very good. Overall a nice experience, but not as "special" as I would have expected from a "special" menu. That is not to say there was anything wrong either. Also, after leaving I did hear from one of the organizers from our party that someone on the restaurant side was "unhappy" that a couple of our people decided to order from the regular menu instead of the 4-course special. While, again, I understand that the logistical nightmare gets worse because of such things, you can't really force everyone to just be the same. That said, everyone at the party enjoyed the event, and as I said before, the staff we interacted with was all lovely. read more

I came here for the first time in more than fifteen years because a friend invited me to the Prix-fix meal deal. It was on a Thursday night, at "6:30". That's what the invitation says, but we started to be served around 7-7:15. The biggest issue that I had with the evening was the fact that they were going to seat us at a table with two strangers! We were a party of 2. They sat us (and everyone else) at tables for four, and then tried to seat us with two other complete strangers to have dinner with! It was so awkward! There's no mention of it whatsoever on the flyer, or email. There was a table next to us with two people and when they tried to bring two strangers over to sit with them, the couple about to be sat said "No way!" And walked out. Mind you, there were at least 10-15 open tables! Tons of people never showed up and it was completely unnecessary to seat strangers together. Lucky for my friend and I, the other people assigned to our table were some of the people who never showed up. On to the review- the food was 4 stars. We started with a salad and glass of Sauvignon blanc. The salad was delicious! The wine was ok. A little bitter for my taste- and all I drink is Sauvignon blanc. Next, we were served a saucy shrimp. It was a good portion, but the sauce was a little sweet, which we didn't like, and the shrimp was a little overcooked. It came with a white blend wine that I liked more than the SB. Next, we were served a bourbon glazed salmon with green beans and roasted baby potatoes. The salmon and potatoes were perfect. The green beans were undercooked. It came with a red wine which I did not drink. Finally, we were served a coconut pie with a key lime martini. The martini was the hit of the night! The best thing we had. The coconut pie was ok. We were too full to eat it. But I tried it and it was ok. Next, the service. Our waiter, Kosta, was wonderful! We loved having him wait on us, and I'd request him again if I went back. Best part of the night. Finally, I give the atmosphere 4 stars only because of the strange seating arrangements with no prior notice and the fact that they didn't start serving for 30-45 minutes after the start time stated on the flyer. Still, it was a good deal for $60. The drinks alone would've cost that, even though the wine pouring got smaller and smaller as the night went on. I would do it again, but I'd reserve a table for 4 next time to ensure I'm not sat with strangers. read more

We haven't been here in years and so glad we came back. First and foremost the service was AMAZING!! Angel anticipated what we needed. We never had to look for him. He was attentive without hovering. They brought out the wrong risotto and before I could ask he was next to me with a bowl of the correct one with apologies. We had the quintessential Bang Bang Shrimp. If you know you know. We both opted for the Fish and Chips. We've been discussing a trip to London and I think we just had it on the brain. His came with a giant portion of fries. Mine came with the aforementioned risotto. The Parmesan risotto was definitely creamier but the coconut risotto was very tasty. The fish was about 90% there. It was a tad oily and could have been crispier. All in all a great dinner with fabulous service. read more

My husband and I took a friend of ours to dinner here last night, we have not been here in years. We were very pleasantly surprised. We were seated in a very comfortable booth and our waitress and waiter-in-training, Rosa and Ruben were so cordial, friendly, and attentive. We all ordered something different. We started with the calamari, which was very good and the fish dip, which we were not real thrilled with. Our friend had the trout and said it was delicious. She ate everything. I had the fish and chips which I thoroughly enjoyed. And my husband had the mahi and shrimp combo and loved it as well. I had an espresso martini that was delicious. My husband had a Cabernet and our friend had what she said was a yummy mocktail. The restaurant is spacious and has a separate bar area, which was very active. We remarked that we haven't been here and we're definitely wanting to go back again because we thought the food was very good. Parking is easy and ample out front. We were taken in as soon as we got there right on time. And I think the prices are well within the reasonable rate for the area. The portions were more than generous. And the food was very fresh. Definitely making a trip back there in the near future. read more

We started off with the bang bang shrimp this is one of their best appetizers. My mom ordered a dragon fruit margarita which she described as refreshing! I ordered an enchanted rose martini & the presentation was beautiful. I decided to order their 1901 dirty martini after which is my absolute favorite cocktail there. Bonefish is pretty good for a chain seafood restaurant. I went for the March Martini Madness dinner as an early birthday treat for myself. I was single so I was seated communally at a table with two other single diners. We had a great time and the severs were friendly and accommodating. The food was decent. My favorite was the crab salad. The portions were nice sized and the price couldn't be beat - four courses and four martinis for $55. I cannot complain. My wife and I have been loyal customers of Bonefish Grill for nearly 20 years, and we have also been Dine Rewards members for many years. We have consistently chosen your restaurants because of the quality of service and respect shown to guests until today. We had a confirmed reservation for 6:45 PM, arriving with the expectation of enjoying a peaceful and pleasant evening. Upon being seated, we politely asked if a particular waitress could take care of our table. At that moment, we were abruptly and rudely interrupted by the restaurant manager, Mr. Ash, who stated in a very disrespectful tone that this waitress could not serve us because she was performing other functions. The issue, however, was not the staffing decision itself, but rather the manner in which Mr. Ash addressed my wife and me. His tone was improper, dismissive, and unprofessional. He spoke to my wife rudely, offered no greeting, showed no courtesy, and then walked away without so much as a smile or acknowledgment of our presence, despite our long-standing loyalty and having a reservation. Both my wife and I felt deeply disrespected and humiliated by this interaction. As a result, we chose to leave the restaurant immediately, carrying with us a very negative impression and a sense of being completely mistreated. After almost two decades of patronage, this experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Unfortunately, due to this unjustified and disrespectful treatment, we have decided that we will not return to this location or any Bonefish Grill ever again, as this type of behavior from a manager does not reflect the standards of hospitality and respect that your brand claims to uphold. Will take our business to other restaurants for sure. read more

When I worked in Kendall, I used to come here all the time when the traffic was bad before getting in the turnpike l. It was one of my favorite places. I had to take my mother to an appointment up the street and decided to stop off before going home and get a bite to eat. She doesn't get out much, and I thought this would be a nice treat. I have not been here in probably 8 years. What the heck has happened? I ordered a lump crab corn chowder, a Bonefish Grill salad, and we share the fish and chips. I have no idea where the crab was in what should have been called a potato soup. No crab to be seen and super salty. The salad came out, and I was shocked that they had the nerve to serve this plate. It looked like it had been sitting in the fridge for a couple of weeks. The lettuce was super soggy, and the color was off. I kicked myself for not taking a picture before I sent it back. I should have also asked the server to take a bite of it when he said he didn't see anything wrong with it. The plus side was that they split the fish and chips on separate plates for my mom and I. The fish was crispy, thus the 3 stars. Such a shame it has gone downhill. read more

Bonefish is a classic place to enjoy some great seafood, specifically fish, their shrimp platters are limited. It had been a while since I visited this place but their Seabass is one of the best I've had. Great ambiance of a place, dim lighting and a variety of places to sit as they priced booths, tables, and also a bar area with high tops. Started off with an old fashion, and it couldn't used some more bitters in my opinion, the smoke concept on the drink does enhance the flavor more and it's a pop presentation. Great bread and dip to start with, the bread is crunchy on the edges and their dipping sauce is phenomenal. The menu hasn't changed much, but new dishes were available. The Tuna appetizer was one of the new dishes that grabbed my attention so we went ahead and ordered it. The tuna comes in slices and seared on the edges, served with some tempura sprinkles, soy sauce on the side and also some hot sauce on the actual platter. It was great to try but can't say it was memorable enough to order again. It's raw tuna with searing, giving it a nice crunch, but nothing out of the ordinary, and as I said, wouldn't order again. Main courses were the seabass with lemon butter sauce and a pasta entree when scallops and shrimp, also in a lemon butter sauce. Seabass is amazing, it's soft, a good size, and full of moisture and flavor. I think this is their best dish overall. Sides were good, but the best was the creamed spinach, you honestly couldn't tell it was spinach from how creamy it was, the added crunch was due to the crouton crunch, which I would have added more. The pasta didn't lack any shrimp or scallops which is great, some pasta dishes give you a few pieces of seafood, but this platter was loaded which was great to see and have. Service was great as usual. We sat quickly and our waiter was great. read more

We frequent at this location and have been for a very long time. With that being said, this place never disappoints. We always know we will enjoy our evening and have consistently good food. Our most recent visit, our server was Vanessa and she was notably one of the best servers I have had here. As busy as they were, she was present and always made sure everything was okay - from the food, empty cocktails, and her vibe and attitude was amazing. It's unfortunate that this location was my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. However, This location, has lost their magic touch. And in today's economy, the fact that some of us can still take our families out to spend some money on restaurants. It really hurts when there are people in leadership positions that simply don't care. This is the second time in about one month that I've noticed there standards have changed, so I decided to write this review.. It used to be 100% always spot on, now it seems to be hit or miss ! They used to have managers which I haven't seen recently that used to walk around and really paid attention via eye contact or looking at your table to make sure that everything was good to go with your dinner etc. However, as of lately I've just seen this lady who says she's the manager, but I do not recall her name. She is nowhere near as attentive to detail or friendly, as the other managers that I've seen at this location probably for Aprox 17 years. I've been a very loyal customer for Aprox 17 years, unfortunately the time has come to write a negative review so that they can improve and not lose any more loyal customers. So I'm going to highlight the negatives to make this review shorter. Took the family out last night Issue #1 It's terrible when you get there with your family and you notice that people that get their way after you get their dinner serve first, we waited approximately 40 minutes for our dinner and people just arrived. Maybe within 15 minutes we're already getting served their main course. #2 bang bang shrimp was tasty however it was cold. #3 order two of the specials swordfish with pumpkin ravioli, nowhere near the quality as of last year it was completely dry. I politely asked the server who was very nice to look at the plate and tell me what she thought and she agreed it was dry - however the kitchen gave her a hard time in bringing me some sauce so this took about another 10 minutes of waiting. #4 they're not busing the tables all the plates even after you finish eating they're all over the place and nobody picks them up unless you tell them to. In short, like I told the lady manager last night our server young lady was fantastic and she deserves better from her leadership! They are not training these servers who really try their best how to perhaps analyze the plates as they come out of the kitchen to make sure that everything looks good before they put it on the table. This manager is not training and being attentive to what's going on in her restaurant. I placed all blame on the manager that was working last night and once again I repeat, this is not the first time that I experienced this experience with the same manager on the floor. There seems to be a major problem with the kitchen that somebody needs to straighten out because dinner coming late, dinner coming cold, dinner coming, totally dry, are all related to kitchen problems !!! Last time they said they had a new chef, but once again in today's economy with all the hyper inflation going on and we're making sacrifices to take our family out to dinner. We don't really want to hear excuses we want a nice dinner. The manager against my wishes decided to comp the entire dinner, which I told her three times not to do it, but she insisted, I think this is the way they feel customers will not express their concerns over a terrible experience it's not about the money. It's about doing the right thing for the employees of the restaurant and giving them the proper training to succeed. Additionally, it's about making sure you hold onto loyal customers and not waiting for them to have a bad experience so you can just comp the dinner like hush money! Corporate office should hear about this and should really get boots on the ground at this location because I live nearby and I can tell if this continues this restaurant will end up closing down Update- 10/20 Bonefish responded with a very generic response.. why would I need to contact you? I think the review says enough for YOU to follow up. read more

This is where my wife and I went on our first date of 2025. Because we live nearby, we view it as a neighborhood venue. As the name implies, the majority of the meal is seafood. As soon as you sit down, they offer you bread and oil, which we adore. Andres, our waitress, was friendly and informed about the food, including the specials of the day. He was in the vicinity but not visible. Despite being overly spicy, my wife thought the lobster bisque was tasty. I must add that the mahi mahi with shrimp I had tasted incredibly well-seasoned and fresh. All in all, a great way to begin the new year. read more
