    The lobster special

The service went well at the time me and my son went plus it was bad weather. We added oysters at the end that was deliciously steamed

"I JUST WANNA ROCK ROCK I JUST WANNA I JUST WANNA ROCK ROCK" Is the music we hear entering the establishment. This place is such a good, fun vibe. I am a huge music person and the playlist is just on point. Our waitress was helpful and very friendly. It was our first time here so we needed help with the menu. We settled on 1/2 lb snow crab 1/2 lb dungenous crab, 1 lb peel and eat shrimp. It also comes with potatoes and corn (the corn was so delicious, I want to order extra next time!). The waitress brought us samples of the sauces to try and im so glad she did. We were going to go with the boom which is a mix of all three sauces, but it was too salty for our liking. We ended up just going with the cajun medium and it was perfect! They give you bibs and gloves but we just wore the bibs to save our clothes. The food was soooo good the best part was the snow crab is is so sweet and buttery. The dungenous crab is not as tasty but there is more crab meat. Such a fun experience I cant wait to return :)

I wiped the bottom to see if it was just dirt on the outside but it was on the inside. And this was for both cups

The first time I came here was good but this second time, not so much. My waiter took my order. I decided to try their Thursday deals. When I get my drinks, one had less drink than the other cup. On the lemon drop shot, there was a little spec on the rim. I decided to just wipe it off until I realized both these cups were filthy. I got my "All By Myself" special but my rice didn't make it until after I was done eating. I waited half an hour for my rice .... I might as well not have had it but never mind. Took it home. Not the worst. I decided not to make a big deal. I just paid for what I did consume, the waiter did apologize & removed the drinks off my tab. It wasn't a horrific experience but the dirty cups & rice coming after my meal was a downer. I do like this spot. I had a decent first experience so maybe third times a charm ?

So, Maritza and myself went Saturday evening. They mistakenly gave us a happy hour menu, but decided to honor it, so we got 2 free beers. Conch fritters were on spot. The oysters were good. The boil we ordered was good, and the service was good. My big issue is, for silverware we had 2 plastic forks, no knives, no oyster forks. And Styrofoam plates. I'm not an extremist for the environment, but Styrofoam? I just watched a video showing a prisoner trying to work with plastic utensils. And felt a bit of compassion. Now I'm in a restaurant spending over $100 and trying to cut an eye from an oyster with a plastic fork?? Do better!!

Oysters & onion rings, with crab cakes behind.

We ate there after a day at the Everglades. Seated right away & we wore jackets--brrr. I had a passion fruit margarita, the special. It was bland so I'd suggest strawberry. Hub's beer was in a bottle but menu said draught. Both delivered quickly. We ordered crab cakes, but they came with the meal, not before. They were just okay. Hub's had wanted to try a seafood boil & finally got to do so! He had a pound of headless shrimp in a buttery garlic sauce with the mild heat. Mmm...delicious! It only had one piece of corn on the cob & two small potatoes, but for $20, I understand. I had fried oysters & onion rings. Perhaps a fried overload! Food was fresh & service was great!

    Cajun Chicken Pasta

Don't order any pasta from here. (I knew better than to order it, so that's my fault). It's jarred Alfredo sauce, on some fettuccine, with some chicken breast that's been sitting out thrown on top. The wings were good though! They weren't "Cajun" just seasoned with seasoning salt, they were good though.

The woman taking our order at the counter was very nice and helpful. We ordered the krab kingz loaded platter that came with 1.5lbs of snow crab, 1/2 lb of shrimp, sausages, corn, eggs, and potatoes. It was the perfect amount to split between two people (we each had 2 crab hands, 2 sausages, a corn, an egg, and a few potatoes). You could choose two sauces to mix in, we did the cajun butter and lemon pepper. It was very tasty, but we wish it had more of a flavor/spicy kick to it. We had to keep dipping our food back in the bucket to collect more sauce/ flavor. We also shared an order of lobster bites (deep fried pieces of lobster). Very good and not too much batter. the lobster tasted fresh. we picked tartar and yum yum sauce to dip in. A very fun/delicious dinner and would definitely recommend checking it out.

My mango margarita was 2 for 1 so I loved that, it was also pretty good, right balance of flavor. Shoutout to bartender :) The calamari was ok, nothing special about it, But not bad. So if you're looking to have some fun at dinner in the area, this is a cool place although I must say the music is a bit too loud, my ears were hurting. We brought my sister for her birthday lunch, and from the moment we sat down outside, it just felt right. Blue skies, that warm Miami breeze, the kind of afternoon that makes you slow down and actually enjoy the people you're with. Sitting on the patio along South Dixie Highway, you get that classic local seafood vibe without any pretense. Just fresh air, fresh fish, and good energy. Now let's talk about the service, because it deserves its own spotlight. I'm totally blind, and if you've followed my reviews before, you know I notice how places handle that. Our server was phenomenal. She was attentive without hovering, detailed without being overwhelming, and helpful without a hint of being patronizing. She clearly paid attention to where everything was placed, described the dishes in a way that made them come alive, and made sure I could navigate the table comfortably. That balance is rare. It's professionalism mixed with genuine care. Thank you for that. It mattered. And the food. Wow. We started with the tuna wontons and conch fritters. Both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. The tuna was bright and clean, with just the right crunch from the wonton. The fritters were golden and crisp outside, tender inside, with that classic South Florida seasoning that makes you want "just one more." I had the lobster bisque, and it was rich without being heavy. Smooth, creamy, layered with flavor, and clearly made with real attention to detail. My sister's boyfriend ordered the shrimp tacos, and they were loaded, well-balanced, and packed with fresh seafood flavor. My wife had the grouper fillet, grilled to perfection. I sampled both my sister's blackened fish and my wife's grilled grouper. The blackened had that beautiful, slightly spicy crust that wakes up your palate without overpowering the fish. The grilled version had what tasted like an Old Bay style seasoning that complemented the natural sweetness of the grouper perfectly. Everything was cooked exactly right. Nothing overdone. Nothing rushed. Just quality seafood handled the way it should be. All in all, it was a fantastic birthday lunch. Great service. Great food. Classic South Florida atmosphere. And the best part for us, it's right near home, which means we'll absolutely be back. If you're looking for a relaxed, authentic seafood experience in Miami, Golden Rule Seafood delivers.

The music was nice and people were having a good time. The menu was extensive but in the end, I selected one of the popular dishes; fried snapper with a side of asparagus and red beans and rice (FYI this is considered two items). The fish was fresh, flavorful and plenty. The rice and beans and asparagus were also good. My friends had the Mahi, sliders, Debby side salad and the salmon dish. One person thought the salmon dish was ok, but everyone else was impressed with their own dish. The key lime pie was too tart and sweet for me, but it was good in spite of that. The other guests LOVED it! After brunch, I went to check out the market that offered amazing seasoning, fish, dips and other treats for good prices.
