My wife and I went here and they were only me July 2025. And the restaurant employee, she was super friendly. I got Fried Fish and Shrimp, Onions Rings. It was fresh! My wife got the broiled Shrimp with Sausage, Potato and sauce. The packaging was is very succinct...no spills. That Jerk Potato was amazing! The Onion Rings were fantastic! I would give it a 9 out of 10! No salt just full of flavor. And the Fried Calamari was outstanding! With creamy sauce. I wish they were more! The ambiance is attractive. read more

Very happy to check out this delicious restaurant! It is super clean in there and a good amount of tables to sit, they had a nice Christmas playlist for ambiance. The woman taking our order at the counter was very nice and helpful. We ordered the krab kingz loaded platter that came with 1.5lbs of snow crab, 1/2 lb of shrimp, sausages, corn, eggs, and potatoes. It was the perfect amount to split between two people (we each had 2 crab hands, 2 sausages, a corn, an egg, and a few potatoes). You could choose two sauces to mix in, we did the cajun butter and lemon pepper. It was very tasty, but we wish it had more of a flavor/spicy kick to it. We had to keep dipping our food back in the bucket to collect more sauce/ flavor. We also shared an order of lobster bites (deep fried pieces of lobster). Very good and not too much batter. the lobster tasted fresh. we picked tartar and yum yum sauce to dip in. A very fun/delicious dinner and would definitely recommend checking it out. read more

We were on our way to the keys And wanted our first taste of seafood and we're not disappointed. We chose takeout as we are traveling with our fur babies . The order was ready quickly and fresh . We opted for the crab and shrimp boil which uncles a pound of snow crab , 3/4 pound shrimp plus sausage and potatoes. Now you have many butter choices so we had everything doused in original with sweet chili on the side . So tasty ... I will say they added bibs , rubber gloves and lots of napkin so keep us clean . Plastic silverware was added but maybe something to help pick the crab would make it a 5 . Inside is clean and bright and the staff helpful . Great takeout! read more

The fried coconut shrimp were so delicious! Fried perfectly and no greasy taste. Fresh and tasty. Service was quick and friendly.

If you're a seafood lover, you have to check out this crab restaurant! Please know this is a small casual ambience located in Florida City. The crabs were outstanding! They were cooked to perfection, and the seasoning was just right. The crabmeat is juicy and sweet, and every bite is a treat. The prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the food and the service. Overall, this is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a fantastic crab feast. read more

The fried coconut shrimp was excellent, the broccoli overcooked. This is the only seafood restaurant in Florida city. Unless you're in a big hurry, continue on to Key Largo or you'll have lots of choices of fresh seafood on the water. Use yelp as a guide. yesterday we ate on the water there and manatees came up the channel to our table. A bait boat also came in and unloaded a dozen car boys fingerling swordfish used as bait. good and the seafood was so good. We decided we have some more tonight. But we didn't hold out for the seafood in the keys. The crab Kings was but like eating the McDonald's read more

Pasta primavera was light but still really satisfying. The veggies were fresh and still had a nice crunch. The olive oil and garlic base worked well without overpowering the dish. I liked how they gave us warm bread to start too. Our server was super attentive and sweet. The space is small but has a cute charm to it. Would come back for lunch again. read more

The parking lot and restaurant were empty when we arrived 5pm on a Sunday. Two 6 person parties and a single arrived after us to dine in. We ordered a large order to go: two broiled shrimp Alfredo, #2 in sweet chili butter, two fried shrimp platters, fried okra, corn and potato in original butter, conch fritters, corn nuggets, lemon pepper chicken wings and lobster bites. The phone rung pretty consistently with take out orders and there was one pick up while we waited. The staff taking orders were nice and knowledgeable on the menu options and alternatives. Food was good and made to order so we had to wait like 30 minutes. I would return and even dine in. read more

Our first meal at Krab Kings was not perfect, but pretty darn close! We ordered the "Krab King Sampler" which is packed with Blue Crab, Snow crab, Dungeness, shrimp potatoes, corn on the cob and eggs. We also ordered fried okra. The seafood was cooked to perfection. Nothing was over cooked or over/under seasoned. The fried okra was hot and the breading crispy. The reason I feel the overall experience was less than perfect is because the service could use improving. Even though we ordered the Sampler, we did not receive "crab crackers", or scissors/small fork etc. and when I asked for the crackers we were given 1 to share and, we had to ask for ranch for the okra which is a pretty standard inclusion. I didn't reduce my review for the service because the waitress was quite young, (probably in high school still), and even though these items had to be asked for, her reaction was very friendly and apologetic so I think that's a good opportunity for training and growth. The location is a little set back off US1 in a small strip plaza, but it's worth looking for. Inside was extremely clean and had ZERO seafood odor. Overall we truly enjoyed our meal and would suggest Krab Kingz to friends & family read more

Looks like this place is closed. We drove all the way here from everglades to find it's shut down.

For a place called "crab kings" this place has terrible crab. Ordered the blue crab/calimari/lobster tail fried combo. The calimari was well cooked and had good breading, and the lobster tail was pretty decent as well. The blue crab however, which I was told was soft shell, was not good. When I tried to bite into it, I immediately got a solid crunch which told me this was not, in fact soft shell. I then tried the meat, thinking oh well, it's still crab, but the meat itself was very dry. I told the server about this, and was given some boiled blue crab as a replacement. This was just as dry and hard as the fried one. Utterly disappointing for a place called "Krab Kingz" Don't bother ordering anything with blue crab in it. read more

Excellent food & great service. Christian own & operated business. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Going to focus on layout & their speciality shrimp sub. The shrimp was more grilled then fried stacked upon a delicious onion, bell pepper, type slaw cleaver seasons served with a huge amount of fried. Tarter sauce served to the side. A little pricey but the food is worth it. read more

Very very good food. I was surprised at the excellent crab and shrimp boil. The inside atmosphere is like a fast food joint. So I was a little scared to even try the food but I am glad that I did. I'm giving them a high rating for the food. The atmosphere is a 2. read more

What started as a local place for crabs turned into research on places in Homestead that can fill my wife's and I crab fix. In comes Krab Kings a little out of the way family owned business that can teach the big guys how it should be done. First don't expect a large location with over the top decorations. What you have is a cozy family friendly place that treats you like your their best customer. You order (the sampler was our choice with some hush puppies) and they bring it to your table. We have the Cajun flavors with threes types of crabs corn eggs potatoes and a sausage that is off the chain. Now be ready to get busy with your order but it is worth it. Please support local businesses and see how it's supposed to worked. We will be back. Oh and I forget they have to go too. read more

Being miles away from the Bay, I was craving some seafood on a recent business trip to Homestead, FL. Krab Kingz is located off Exit 1 of the Turnpike. This location opened in October 2020. If you like your seafood boiled, this is the place to go! They also have fried options to please everyone. I ordered some comfort food: Surf & Turf Fries. The shrimp was plump and juicy. The fries were seasoned well with Cajun flavors. The inside is clean, simple, and nautically decorated. Not fancy by any means, but perfect sit down restaurant for this area. Even the bathrooms were clean and organized. With 2 locations in Florida, the other one being near Tampa make sure you give them a try --- totally worth it! read more

Stayed at a local hotel during our motorcycle ride to the Keys. We were hot, tired and hungry and looked for something close to walk to. Across the parking lot we could see the sign for this restaurant, score. We were warmly greeted by the staff and you walk to counter to make you order. They then bring your food to your table. This is a small family owned seafood restaurant. While waiting for food, various servers would come by to refill our drinks. I had the small fried fish platter (boiled and broiled also available) made up of two large pieces of snapper and 10 large shrimp, delicious! Our friend (not a seafood lover) had a chicken alfredo, yes they have it, and she said it was awesome. A wonderful young lady named Augie stopped to check on us. Her family owns the business and told us that they first opened just before Covid hit. They barely survived closure and restricted reopening. They apparently are doing better now since they were quite busy with a large local following. With the great tasting food with large servings along with good prices, I anticipate that they will continue to do well. If you are ever in the area, this is a must stop for some good food. NOTE: if you are staying at a local hotel, they will give you a 15% discount! read more

I wanted to try seafood which is a known obvious in Florida. Found really good reviews of Krab Kingz. The location is pretty easy to find, we were greeted by 2 servers who seemed very friendly. We mostly ordered sides cause platters were huge and we were a party of 2 only. 3* for a whole lot of reasons: Cajun fried rice was too salty. Okra fries had a stale taste cause of the oil being used again and again. Shrimp and cat fish was just deep fried with no flavor. I would expect a different batter that adds on to shrimp and catfish. Lastly, I ordered calamari by error (totally on me!) I immediately when back to cancel in 5 minutes realizing I wanted cat fish, not calamari. I asked for a refund which the girls on the counter said they couldn't since the manager wasn't around. I asked for another dish and they said they would have to charge me all over again since they couldn't adjust. I asked them to serve the dish to anyone but I wouldn't take it. Its NOT on the girls, they apologized and were very polite. But I am confused with the policy, yes cancellations shouldn't be encouraged but if its a genuine error you cannot go around being high and mighty about your policies. Totally inflexible, confusing and a bad experience! Not happy! read more

I like this place! It's sorta diner style inside, so nothing fancy! My friends got the fried fish strips, looked crunchy and good! Other friend got fried shrimp, she said they were good too. I got a boil! Was good, but extremely messy. Word of advice, wear the bib and gloves! Girls were helpful, and it's good casual food. The 55- boil for 2 actually fed 3 1/2 people. I shared some calamari it was good, nice and crunchy. I love this as my new lunch place in Homestead, you order at the counter and food comes out fast. I got the boil again today as takeout and I ordered the same butters, but didn't taste the same was still pretty good, crab a bit on the salty side and not as much butter/sauce in my order. Strange that it's not more uniform with taste and sauce quantity. Anyway we ate it all, I would love for them to have hush puppies on the menu! I'm trying the fried shrimp pasta next time! read more
