This place is such a gem!!! It makes me so happy to see such a great restaurant in the heart of Kendall. You don't have to go to Brickell or Miami Beach to get quality Peruvian food. The ambience is so nice and so is the staff. Our server was Margarita and she was the sweetest and most attentive. Excellent service and excellent food. I was craving ceviche for a few days and decided to check this place out. It's a cute little spot and walking distance from my boyfriend's house. It may just be my new go to ceviche joint The staff was extremely friendly and accommodated us in every way. Even though there was a language barrier, our waitress, who was also the owner, did everything possible to get our orders right and made sure we had everything we needed. I didn't know which ceviche I wanted so she asked what I was looking for and gave me the perfect meal. I don't know what it was but it was great! We asked for a hot sauce and I added a bit into ceviche and it was fire! I would totally order it again! My boyfriend got the jalea mix. It was extremely fresh and melted in your mouth. The two sauces on top also complimented it very well! From the outside I was a little bit skeptical about this restaurant; however, once I entered I was pleasantly surprised!! The interior is gorgeous and very well decorated. The service was welcoming and spectacular! Everything was brought out in a timely manner and the waitress was very helpful. The menu has a variety to choose from HOWEVER it definitely needs pictures because the descriptions do not do the dishes justice. The dishes were beautifully presented and for example the sushi appetizer had so much more than what is listed in the menu. Everything ordered was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the food here. What I like is that as soon as I came in they greeted me. Seated me. Brought me water and mariquitas (plantain chips) to start out. Most places bring bread, this was a nice change. I had the risotto and chicken. It had a nice kick to it. So if you like spices and cheese, this is definitely going to be something you'll enjoy. You can change out the proteins on this dish as well. The staff was super friendly. The music was relaxing and the area created a nice ambiance for possibly a date night or a nice lunch. What a nice surprise! This place was freaking delicious, portions were generous, and prices were reasonable - best Peruvian in Kendall. We went last night with our family of four after seeing it recently opened in the revamped Crossings shopping center. We eat Peruvian at least every other week and find others nearby to be hit and miss. Was glad to see there were a fair amount of people eating inside. We ordered choros a la chalaca as an app, and a jalea for the table. The jalea was OUTSTANDING. Fresh fried, hot, seasoned well, and seafood was fresh. Was also a mountain. We also had the ceviche mixto with corvina, and a risotto with seafood which were both excellent. We had to waddle out. Will definitely be back. I did find their menu a little hard to read, but who cares. Looks like we have a new Peruvian spot! read more

We live very close and I wanted to try this Peruvian restaurant for some time. It did not disappoint! Service, food and ambiance were all top notch. We ordered a Mixed Ceviche to start---very little fish, literally 3 Shrimps and some Octopus--disappointing for a $20+ price tag. Then we ordered a Lomo Saltado which was good. We were looking for a new place to try with our son and just 8 minutes away from our home we found this hidden gem. The service by Liannet was incredible! It was our first time and she guided us through the menu. We ordered the Jalea Mixta which by far was the best one we've had at any Peruvian restaurant. We also ordered the Chaufa de carne which was so delicious, even my 6 year old loved it. I ordered the Risotto with chicken which they make with the huancaina sauce and omg! Forget any other risotto out there. This place deserves a Michelin Star! From the chef to the service and the ambiance. We will return next week! Don't even think about it twice visit now! The Tempura ceviche was excellent, the pineapple and passion fruit juice gives it a special touch. It satisfied my ceviche cravings. The corvina was on point... never ending dish! That was great but since it was our first time we wanted to try something else... we ordered the Tallarín verde & Lomo salteado and The Teriyaki Rib eye with purple mashed potatoes... Grand slam! About a week ago we ordered some traditional Peruvian dishes TO GO for our family to enjoy at home. The staff was very helpful with their suggestions, and we are really appreciative. For appetizers we ordered Yuca a La Huancaina and Choros a la Chalaca, and for the main dishes we ordered Ceviche de Pescado, Aji de Gallina, and Lomo Saltado. My husband and I went there on a whim. We live walking distance. We are so excited about this. Finally the crossing's has a new hot spot. I hope forever. The food was incredible!! The Parihuela Acevichada was very tasty, served hot, with corvina, shrimp, squid, and musssels. To drink, I tried the Chicha Morada, with purple corn, pineapple, clove, and cinnamon was good. We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.
