Avocado toast is good and beautiful. I did enjoy the matcha strawberry. It had a good amount of matcha powder and strawberry syrup. Also the mocha was executed well. The chicken curry sandwich also hit the spot and was toasted. Service was quick and friendly. Many tables and high table seating inside. Ambiance is good.

I didn't know this coffee shop was here until recently! I used to live in the neighborhood, but apparently it's been a while since I've checked out the Oak Tree mall. Anyway, I loved the modern clean vibe of the store and the staff was super friendly! While I was sitting there, I heard this clicking noise and I looked up over the coffee bar and saw the old style reader board! I haven't seen one like that in a long time. Cool messages and very analog letters clicking their way to fun messages! Anyway, I tried the apple turnover and I liked it a lot! Typically they can be very greasy and this was not, it was perfect! The coffee was strong and tasty and they put it in a cool glass mug. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back. Love little cool places like this!

I usually don't give bad reviews, but I hate to say that this was one of the worst Matcha lattes that I've had. To put salt on the wound, their bamboo straws. We're bad, there were cracks in both of our straws, which led to the drink being spilled on our shirts. The Matcha latte was watered down and had a funky taste to it. My friends coffee was pretty good on the other hand. The service here was very nice. Not sure if I would come back.

The barista knew my usual order's proper size and immediately suggested it. That alone qualifies this place but add to that the coffee was well made and it's got reasonable seating area. That alone makes a huge difference for me. It's also next to fuzzy buddy's which is where I dump my dogs when I have to work.

First time here for a coffee stop before our road trip to Canada. A nice and quiet ambiance which is great for studying or reading. The service is great, friendly barista who greets you; almost thought I was in the south for a second cause friendly service. Drinks: Honey Lavendar Latte with Almond milk...delicious! Price: Higher priced at $6.75 for a 16 oz? They did charge $0.75 for adding almond milk. Overall, decent coffee spot for its service, ambiance, and good quality drinks

My friend and I were looking for a cafe to study but also dog friendly as she was bringing up her dog from Olympia. We found this cute cafe nearby my place and decided to check it out. Luckily, her dog was left with my boyfriend so we didn't need to bring her but when we entered, we saw the cutest husky mix just lying on the floor! It's located on the side where IHOP is in the HT Oaktree Market on Aurora Ave N. There's a huge parking lot with ample parking everywhere. The cafe was big and had many tables and seats for customers to study at. There were outlets around the walls of the cafe which was very nice! The only downside was that their audio came from a tall speaker in the corner of the window side where the music blasted REALLY loudly. I had to up my music to tune it out as I was studying. I got one of their seasonal drinks, the Winter Spice Latte, which had chai and another things I couldn't remember. I'm usually not a huge chai fan but decided to try it out. The drink came either hot or cold, and I don't know why but I instinctively chose a cold latte when I knew I wanted the latte art from the hot drink. WELP. They served the cold drink in a tall, thin mason glass jar. The drink wasn't too bad! Not a favorite, though. Definitely could taste the chai, but it didn't phase me much. It wasn't too sweet either which I enjoyed! Cute and nice cafe to study at! They also served food which makes for great snacks while studying or doing work. Will be back if I decide to study outside of my house!

For me this is the best Cappuccino in Seattle; made CORRECTLY. My favorite way to have this is as a breve (which is harder to get right for the barista, yet they still nail it). Their beans are expensive, but high quality. Free EV charging in the parking lot which is a delightful bonus. Highly recommend stopping here. read more

Love the new Coffeehouse! It's a wonderful location for meeting up people - spacious, clean, indoor/outdoor options, and a focus on excellent coffee and pastries. I've been a patron ever since Pilgrim was operating out of a trailer in 2016. The first time I bought an espresso drink on a whim, I was immediately impressed with the flavor and quality. I kept coming back every week, got to know the staff, and followed the journey to the coffee truck and now the coffee house. I even had the pleasure of booking the truck for my wedding, which was a hit! You want your guests caffeinated before going over lengthy vows, right? read more

Nice find as we ventured out on a sunny March day with the motorbikes. Over the last year we have discovered several local coffee houses that offer superior coffee and a far more enjoyable experience than the corporate cafes. Pilgrim's coffee and food options are outstanding and their cafe provides a wonderful urban ambiance. The staff is very friendly and the facility is clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend a stop if you are in or near north Seattle. read more

Pilgrim Coffeehouse is so much more than coffee. They care deeply about North Seattle and are creating an environment that welcomes everyone. They're the kind of people who helped me celebrate 300 days of sobriety and genuinely care how their customers' days are going. I've been getting coffee from Pilgrim regularly for over four years, and they just keep getting better. The coffee is delicious; they roast their own beans; they created a small but mighty food/snack menu that has something for everyone; and they made a welcoming space for working/meeting up with friends/reading alone/or just running in to grab a coffee. In a "coffee city" it can be hard to find good coffee that isn't pretentious, but Pilgrim has managed to strike just the right balance. read more

Absolutely fantastic experience! Not only was the coffee above par, but the atmosphere is so welcoming and the baristas were so friendly. I was only in town for a few days, but I came back twice because it was so great. The second time I was there I had to try some of the food, and it was crazy delicious. Great space, great coffee, great people. Highly recommend. read more

Awesome coffee and great service! Highly recommend the pilgrim special where they ask u three questions and make your drink accordingly. Justin and the fellow Baristas are always very welcoming and cheerful. Along w great coffee they also have a good variety of bake goods to choose from. Currently Pilgrims coffee is a coffee truck but hopefully with their current crowdfunding effort they can become a permanent fixture at the Oaktree plaza. Also important to note they offer non dairy options from oat to almond milk and their Winter Spice latte is ridiculously good. When I have friends visiting I also try to make a stop. I tried Pilgrim for the first time today and while I liked what I ordered, I was really put off by what felt like a pretty strong colonial vibe of your coffeeshop. The combination of your name as "Pilgrim,", the big American flag hanging on the wall, and the message "We Are All Pilgrims" on your flipboard felt pretty insensitive (and inaccurate to say the least), especially since you're located in the Licton Springs neighborhood which has a lot of history and meaning for local Native communities. I see in the reviews that similar comments were made by Kayla J. months ago, but it looks like no one from Pilgrim ever responded...? I would love to see Pilgrim make the changes that Kayla recommended and would enjoy being a more regular customer, but I probably won't come back much or recommend Pilgrim to other people if the vibe remains unchanged. read more

I will never come here again! I get a coffee here whenever I'm delivering in this area. Today I was delivering and stopped here to get coffee and use restroom. I was told I could not use it unless I bought something. Well I was going to but now I don't want to. I want to give my money to people that understand how much we are busting our butts to get packages to you. Show some understanding that we gotta use the restroom and not everyone has money to buy a $12 coffee. Today I was going to buy but what about the next time I don't have money does that mean I can't use your restroom? I will support businesses that support the community and delivery drivers are part of the community. read more

It's nice to go to a place where the barista talks to you and genuinely cares about you while making your drink. It enhances the experience of this place so much. Great coffee. I especially enjoyed their nitro cold brew. The coffee doesn't have that same burnt taste like Starbucks. The coffee truck is a cool idea and I hear they are looking to expand into a storefront soon. Also, check out their pastries. The cruffin - think cross between a croissant and muffin - was delicious. read more

Love this local little spot that offers great coffee, real conversation & overall a pleasure to stop by at in the morning. My favorite pastry is the Horchata cruffin. So amazing! Their americanos are my go to, but I also love their speciality turmeric tea latte! I can't wait till you open a shop in the neighborhood! read more

Great coffeehouse! Their oats are delicious and they give you a great amount. They were so friendly to me and my puppy. Wifi is reliable, and many plugs if you can sit against the wall. Overall really friendly staff- this is definitely my new spot! read more

Pilgrim Coffee shop has been an absolute life-send. They opened up their coffee truck right in front of one of Starbuck's oldest locations after it closed a couple of months ago. They freshly roast their own coffee beans, have mastered the art of making espresso drinks, and have awesome drink specials and baked goods! Beyond their great specials, they have a cool concept called "The Pilgrim's Pick" where they will custom make a drink for you based on your preferences (like a speakeasy!). If you happen to go during the holiday season, while all their specials are solid, I highly recommend you try their Eggnog Latte. It's the best Eggnog Latte I've ever had and is made with local Darigold Eggnog. read more

This place creates ridiculously good lattes. And from a truck-coffee-bar setup! I live closer to several other reputable coffee joints around Phinney and Crown Hill, but these guys are worth the short trek up Aurora. And since the truck is in a parking lot, well, there's ample parking too. read more

Definitely one of the better espresso drinks in Seattle, and definitely the most caffeinated! Great flavor - Justin roasts the beans himself - and super well-made drinks! I'd love to see them have a brick and mortar café one day soon. The owner has a great attitude about his business; that it be a place for the neighborhood to gather and be a positive force in the community. I would give it 4.5 stars, but Yelp doesn't let you do that :( . The only reason I knock a half star off is because it's a bit more expensive than it should be. Highly recommend, stop by and get a latte and a friendly hello! read more

I was so happy to find a coffee shop opened around the corner. As soon as you walk in, you can tell that everything was done thoughtfully with their customers in mind. Such a great experience! Delicious coffee and some classics in the pastry case. Will definitely be coming back soon. read more

Edit: Today is the last time I'm coming to this coffee shop. I had to ask for ice last again in my drink to avoid shocking shots. He forgot the second set of shots so I reminded him. He said sorry then poured off the top of the drink to make room for the missing shots. So not only did some of the coffee and flavoring get poured out but now my second set go right on top of ice. I've given this place many chances but today was the last one. read more

The neighborhood really needed it's own coffee place, and this place is great! What is even better is that they roast their own coffee, and it tastes good! The staff here are really nice and they look like they actually love their job. They recently added sandwiches and other foods to their menus. They taste very good, but might be slightly overpriced. Would have liked to see them maybe $1-2 less. read more

We really needed this in north Seattle! The best coffee, and an ideal place to sit and read or work, free wifi, air conditioning...and most importantly, the BEST taste in music. This neighborhood has needed a coffee shop of its own for a long time now. Pilgrim has been serving NORA as a coffee truck for a couple of years now, and is finally indoors! There's plenty of space inside, the best coffee in Seattle, and some very friendly baristas. My new favorite coffee shop :) read more

Pilgrim Coffeehouse started as a mobile coffee trailer, then a vintage coffee truck (‘45 Ford), and has now opened their flagship brick & mortar coffeehouse off Aurora Ave in North Seattle.

Justin has over 20 years of experience in coffee and other food services. He manages the schedule and daily operations of the coffeehouse & coffee truck, roasts our coffee weekly, and creates and maintains the menu and recipes.

We visited Pilgrim Coffeehouse on November 12, 2025 around 11 AM, and we were really impressed from the moment we walked in. The space is bright, clean, and comfortable, the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed. It has a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to sit down and enjoy your time instead of rushing out. We ordered the Deluxe Avocado Toast, and it was genuinely good. The guac was fresh, nicely seasoned, and had a smooth texture that paired perfectly with the toast. Not the absolute best we've ever had, but still really enjoyable and definitely worth ordering. We also got lattes, and the coffee was really good, smooth, hot, and balanced without being bitter. Another thing we appreciated was the reasonable pricing. For the quality of the food and drinks, and considering how clean and well-kept the café is, everything felt fairly priced. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick. The staff greeted us warmly, took care of us without rushing, and made the whole experience feel easy and pleasant. It's clear they care about their customers and the atmosphere they create. coffee shop is fine nothing special, i accidentally went here once and it was whatever. what's important to know tho this place is run by one of those awful cult evangelical churches and dining here directly funds hatred and bigotry. if you dine here you are directly supporting the epic life church which does not believe in rights for trans and queer people & spreads regressive attitudes towards women. there's way too many cult churches in seattle that have sneaky coffee shops to fund their proselytizing you have to google if a coffee shop is connected to an evil organization or not now. storyville and woods are also connected to evangelical cult churches there's lots of reddit threads that clock these places check em out! service is weird in there they can sense if you are not a member of the church and are very judgey and hostile. coffee is not special enough to be worth the disenfranchisement of women and queers go literally anywhere else. read more

We all know what that means, they hate the freedom to be uniquely you. This coffee shop cares what bathroom you use, which is a huge invasion of privacy.
