Absolutely loved Gourmet Latte and highly recommend it to anyone needing a little pick-me-up or treat ... any time of day. There are many locations throughout the city, and I enjoyed my experience at this one, located on North Aurora. We were making a day trip to Seattle and come early afternoon we were all in need of some sustenance. We got a sweet treat snack and delicious cappuccinos to get us through the rest of the afternoon before dinner. The cappuccino was made perfectly - a great blend of espresso with the right amount of foam and sweetness. The service was great too. The two young ladies working there were friendly, efficient, and very welcoming. Check out my pics for snapshots of edible delights and menu items. The only place I know of where you can get a $10 shake. What? Yep. That's four extra shots of espresso in a 32-oz milkshake with added vitamins, added protein, whipped cream and chocolate sauce topper. O. M. G. Yeah, baby! A whole day's worth of vitamins and calories in one drink! The size of a popcorn bucket. Indescribably delicious. Plus, they have coffee, too. A cozy lil shack next to the Office Depot on Aurora, across the street from the KFC and the SSA building. Two drive-thru windows on the north and south. A great stop if you're heading to work southbound on Aurora, and when you're done you can shoot and scoot right back into traffic. read more

This place has the best lattes and the baristas are friendly with the exception of this one older lady who seems to always have something up her you-know-what. I haven't seen her around lately though. I like their rewards system. One time when I was craving a cold blended beverage I asked for the nutritional information and they didn't have it. Well, another year is upon us and another $.20 price increase on the coffee. Luckily for all of the employees who still not get it holiday pay, they also did not receive a $.20 an hour pay raise. Some non professional math $0.20 increase x 150 sales a day= $30 x 20 stands = $600 a day x min 5 days a week = $3000 x 4 weeks =$12,000 a month x 12 months = $144,000 a year increase min to the owner. The owner wants to act like a corporation with price increase but does not want to give holiday pay like a corporation. The service is great, the owner not so much. read more

Horrible costumer service!!!! Even though the coffee is just ok, The employees from Gourmet Latté located on Aurora Ave should really work on being polite and greet all their costumers with respect. There was a short skinny blonde with two French braids female barista who needs to work on her attitude. She acted very bitter and impatient towards her new costumer. Wow! A drive through coffee stand open to 8pm that's not Starbucks. Very cool. My first time here. Very nice barista and an interesting choice of drinks like espresso milk shakes and even a horchata blended drink. Apparently this is one of 16 of these in the PNW! I used to get coffee here pretty often, and it had always been pretty good. It had been a while, and I stopped by this morning to get a sugar free white chocolate mocha. Service was fast, but the girls inside were working on a couple other drinks at the same time. I don't know what happened, or if there was some kinda mixup, but my white chocolate mocha tastes like banana, and it's quite disgusting. I probably won't be going back here because I felt for the price (4.09 for a 12 oz... and i tipped) I coulda went to corporate coffee (starbucks) and got my drink made properly, and it kinda pisses me off. If I wasn't on my way to work, i'd have went back and complained and asked them to re-make it. But since I had to be on time, I didn't have time to go back, wait in line, and do that. I just recently discovered this little espresso hut, and it makes the best tasting white mocha I have ever had. Price is comparable to Starbucks, but I think this coffee tastes much better. The espresso is excellent and smooth and an extra shot of espresso for those sleepy mornings, only adds to the wonderful flavor. The barista is very friendly (even when I go before work at 5 AM) and makes the start to my day very pleasant and tasty. This is also one of the few places I have found to be open at that hour in the morning, which is GREATLY appreciated. If you have a hankering for a great tasting drink, find one of these huts and you will not regret you did, other than the fact that you will want to buy coffee more often. read more

These girls are so rude!! I still can't believe it. All I got with my coffee this is morning is a whole lot of attitude and sneering.. If you don't like your job I suggest you change it. One of my favorite coffee places! An insane number of syrups and seasonal concoctions mixed with decent espresso (including white coffee espresso!). After moving away from my beloved Gourmet Latté in Lynnwood to Pinehurst/Roosevelt, I was happy to discover this coffee stand not too far from my apartment. They deliver the same great coffee and service that I expected. My only gripe is their drive thru. I understand that you can stop on either side of the coffee stand to order your coffee, but it's so hard to maneuver your car to the other side when there's a sidewalk barrier surrounding the corner of the stand. I always have to end up backing my car and then adjusting it so that I can be close enough to the window to order my coffee. Good thing there's never really a long line when I come here cause there's not enough room for cars to wait! Other than that, I still enjoy their coffee nonetheless. read more

Worst service ever. At the early morning rush of 7 Am I waited 10 minutes just to get to the window. The employees were indifferent to the line. I propose they were more interested in talking amongst themselves than providing customers with service and coffee. I witnessed 3 vehicles back up and leave. I would have done the same but already had time invested. When I arrived at the window the employees both had their backs to the windows, and gave me attitude when I said hello. Have been coming here for years for the Berry Smoothie and have seen many baristas come and go but the drinks are always consistent. The wait can be VERY VERY long and the whole set up (stand is located in the lot of an automotive place, so there are cars coming and going all the time and it's hard to find a place to wait when the line's long) is weird. This is my absolute favorite spot for drive-thru coffee in Seattle! (despite the kinda sketchy neighborhood, we are always entertained by the street patrons!) The girls that work at this location are friendly, fast, funny, and compassionate about what they are serving! NEVER a bad shot served here! seriously, they will re-pour shots until they are PERFECT! even with a line of customers, they wont ever give you your drink until they believe it is perfect, which is much appreciated. Best coffee with the best customer service around town. The girls here ROCK. Tina and Emily are usually there and they know my drink even after just one visit. They are always so happy and makes a great start to my day. I have tried many coffee stands for so long now and nothing compares to this.
