Going back to what was once a great gym has been very disappointing!…read more * Jacuzzi is consistently cold and unpleasant. * Shower water is always cold * Floors are frequently flooded with standing water * Bathrooms have leaks, strong odors, and unsanitary conditions * Broken doors and damaged toilet seats * Towels are old, discolored, and unhygienic I gave three stars only because the equipment is good and the classes are well-managed and run smoothly. I hope these issues are addressed soon. If not, I will be forced to cancel my membership.

It's super dirty on all machines and I hope you like soccer practice because they share a facility…read moreafter work hours with soccer teams. That then makes one of the stretching areas unusable. They also have swim team after work and school hours so you are sharing a pool with toms of young kids. It's dirty in bathrooms, the sinks are always dirty, all bathroom floors are wet, and showers are covered in hair. Disgusting! their cleaning people pass over issues rather than handling. Not to mention the fact weights are always missing and we have basketball courts making it so loud your noise cancelling headphones still won't block it out. You also can't get through to equipment unless you cross behind the courts so hopefully you can catch a ball. Also pretty sure the AC doesn't work at all. The one good part is the GM there is always kind but their upper management seriously needs to fix these issues or just close the gym at this point. It's embarrassing

Solidcore Mosaic is such a great studio! The classes are consistently challenging--expect to shake,…read moresweat, and feel muscles you didn't know you had. The coaches are super encouraging and do a great job guiding you through the slow, controlled movements that make Solidcore so effective. The Mosaic location is also a huge plus. There's ample parking in the garage, and it's free for a few hours, which makes getting in and out stress-free. After class, you're right in the heart of Mosaic District with tons of great spots to grab a smoothie, coffee, or a full meal--perfect for a post-workout reward. Highly recommend this location for both the workout and the convenient, lively atmosphere around it!

I absolutely love Solidcore. I signed up for their 2 week unlimited welcome offer and have been…read morehooked ever since. I love the coaches in the Mosaic location (I haven't been to other locations). I am a total beginner to pilates-like classes and the reformer machine. I took ~3 foundation classes to get started and I felt like the instructors were all so great at helping me improve my form to get the best workout possible. I feel pushed but not shamed into challenging myself. They sell towels and water if you happen to forget to bring either. I feel like a sweat a mild-moderate amount and I don't think a towel is absolutely necessary. Water is probably a good idea - but the class is pretty fast-paced so not a ton of time for water breaks anyway. Now that I'm hooked, I typically do ~2 classes/week. I like the early AM classes (but they fill up fast!). I feel like this gym is clean and compact. I get exactly what I need out of it. There aren't showers so plan accordingly if you have plans afterwards (it's a good sweat!) I like their Public Goods toiletries and have even bought some myself after using them at this gym. Awesome location, awesome coaches, and awesome workout :)!

The bathrooms and locker rooms are well-designed and clean, and the co-ed sauna and steam room are a major plus. The filtered water stations are always cold and well-maintained, and the smoothie bar is convenient. The reception staff are always friendly! SweatBox is intense, well-structured, and thoughtfully run. The music and variety keep me coming back. Providing ear plugs and cold eucalyptus towels are the many small touches that go a long way during this high-energy HIIT workout. Coach Gwen and Coach Mike are excellent instructors -- clear, motivating, and attentive to form. There are 3 other class studios and dozens of more fitness classes. I have enjoyed the yoga classes, especially Restorative and Deep Stretch. Chris also runs a great BodyPump class -- strong pacing and consistent energy. Overall, VIDA Ballston combines diverse programming with quality facilities and good service. Yes things break or require maintenance, but the team is constantly communicating this and working to upkeep their facility. Highly recommend!

I still wish reformer and sweatbox were included since the price for the gym isn't cheap! The facility is always well maintained and clean. i love the saunas, though those have broken a few times the management is always quick to repair the wait is usually part related. They have a wide variety of gym equipment and weight, squat racks, etc. they also offer personal training, which I have met a few of the trainers who are super nice and welcoming. It's great to workout at a gym where you are welcomed and get to know the front desk and staff. Overall, would highly recommend.
