I like that the group class size is small so you get extra attention with form corrections if needed, especially since I'm hypermobile. I was able to continue pilates during my pregnancy and Alexis always gave me modifications and made sure I was doing the exercises safely. Zach is easily one of the best trainers I've ever worked with. He actually listens. You tell him your goals (whether you want to lose 30 lbs, pack on muscle, get off blood pressure meds, or just move without pain), and he builds everything around YOU. No cookie-cutter programs here. His knowledge is ridiculous: strength training, Olympic lifting, powerlifting, mobility work, stretching, nutrition, meal planning... the guy is a walking encyclopedia with years of real experience and certifications to back it up. The gym itself is spotless, never overcrowded, and has such a welcoming vibe. Everyone who trains here is friendly and supportive; it feels like a community, not a meat market. If you're tired of big-box gyms where you're just a number, do yourself a favor and train here. Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned athlete, he'll meet you where you are and get you results safely and sustainably. Hands down the best training experience in Scottsdale. Highly recommend!

I came to Maximum Pilates on a friend's recommendation that Maximum Pilates has done wonders for her knee injury & her health (she also has a cute, little figure - which she attributes to Pilates). It asked "Are you bored of your regular workout routine?" and then I don't know what the rest said, because I was already thinking, "Heck yeah! I always do get bored easily!" After today's boxing boot camp with Alex, they definitely "walk the walk" when making fitness challenging yet fun. The energy level of the trainers here is incredible. The theme is, "Never give up." Today was just a taste of what their boxing classes are actually like. We did boxing drills, but the true working out with boxing gloves and contact occur on Thursday evenings, but even though this class was just a "sample," it definitely kicked everyone's derriere. There were grimaces, sweat flying everywhere, groans, and then also laughter. Not the typical combination you would get when you're working out hard. That's what makes this place unique. You can tell they are striving for a fun, yet motivational atmosphere. I know you may not feel that way when doing plank jumping jacks or boxing squats, but you'll feel amazing at the end. If I didn't live a light year away in the west valley, I would be here on a daily basis if I could! But when I'm in the area, I will definitely return and get some pointers about how to improve my fitness routine. There's always room for improvement, and the staff here loves to show you how (after all, that's what they're "trained" for)!!!
