They are open until 8 PM today, Grill shut down by 7:30 PM. It's next to a sushi place. It's mostly a carry out spot. We ordered the Greek salad with grilled chicken, Greek dressing and a chicken Cobb salad with Vidalia vinaigrette. The cookies, brownie, parfait and muffins all look good. Keeping it simple since it's late and I am not terribly hungry either. The Cobb salad was good for my hubby. The chicken is cold and a bit dry. The Greek salad isn't bad. Same cold and dry chicken. The dressing is decent. The yellow pepper is potent and tasted a bit off to me, happy there was only one. I let the woman behind the counter know. Service is warm and friendly. The plating and presentation here is quite good, even for our carry out containers.

Clearly I couldn't even wait until I got home for the banana pudding cheese cake!

Came in for a smoothie while waiting on my sushi next door. Wish I would have walked in here first. I ordered three smoothies and a banana pudding cheese cake. The cashier recommended my smoothie and it was perfect. (Tropical getaway) I'll be coming to try one of their big beef sandwiches for sure! Everything looked fresh and the people dining in had food that looked well prepared. I'll be back!

The Detroiter sandwich, corn muffin and veggie soup!

So happy to have this 'not-so-secret' family-run spot within walking distance! Everything you could want for a favorite lunch place.

Blueberry/ lemon cheesecake parfait

Been 2x. Gumbo, pastrami & turkey sandwich, lemon/blueberry cheesecake parfait were all good and satisfying. The gumbo can be a tad spicy but once mixed well it wasn't so bad. Tried the nachos on the first visit, honestly didn't care for the tortilla chips used or cheese sauce. Meat was seasoned ok. But definitely will be back. Overall nice spot to grab fresh food and the staff are professional and welcoming. They'll definitely help you figure out what you want.

Located off busy 9 mile just outside trendy Ferndale. Small stripmall with a private lot. Inside is a counter, and a selection of tables and chairs. Sandwiches. We had the pita chips, tuna and beef sandwiches, and cookies. They make all of it themselves. The owners have been catering for years. Nice people. Great food, pretty good prices. The sitting area is a bit large, I hope they are able to cover the rent. Strongly recommend.

The service was friendly. I've tried a few things on the menu. The chicken cob salad and gumbo have to be my favorites right now. The drinks here are good.

This little gem has the best smoothies, food, soups, and customer service. I can eat here every single day if I could afford it.

It's relatively small inside, but the outdoor seating is comfortable, and the bar looks like a great place to sit if you can grab a seat. The service was outstanding. Everyone knew the menu inside and out, had great recommendations, and kept everything moving at the perfect pace. We tried both the hot and cold lobster rolls, and both were excellent. The Millennium Falcon seafood tower was the star of the meal--fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely worth ordering. The oysters were some of the best I've had recently, especially considering we're this far from the ocean. The crab dip was unique, flavorful, and something I'd happily order again. The only dish that didn't quite hit for me was the lobster gnocchi. It was presented beautifully, but for my palate there was just a little too much tarragon in the cream sauce. That's more of a personal preference than a flaw in the dish. The restrooms were clean, parking is limited, but so is the seating, so it seems to balance out. Overall, there's really not much bad to say about Voyager. Excellent seafood, knowledgeable service, and a fun atmosphere make it one of the better dining experiences in the area. I'd gladly return

While it wasn't totally full, I was still surprised at how busy it was so I would try and make a reservation. Decently sized bar and a fair amount of seats but it's a relatively small interior. Our waitress was fantastic. She walked us through the specials and was extremely patient with us trying to decide what all to order. 10/10 service. The food was spectacular. We started with a dozen oysters. They were fantastic. Didn't even need cocktail sauce or mignonette. We also did an order of the buffalo halibut cheeks which was a special. Wow. What a dish. Not too spicy in part because of the ranch that came with it; the cheeks were perfectly cooked. They could not have been more tender. One of the best bites I've had in quite some time. We did another dozen oysters which came from a different spot. I thought that was a nice touch. For $2 an oyster, they were begging us to order haha. Seriously though; fantastic deal. Finally, I had the fish sandwich. The tartare sauce was a bit overpowering but I liked the taste so no complaints. Fish was perfectly fried and I liked the inclusion of pickles of which there were many. A very solid fish sandwich. They brought us a brownie and a bit of ice cream on the house which I very much appreciated. Talk about a delicious brownie. It had no right being that good. Must order. Glad I finally tried Voyager and I can't wait to return. I could see this getting a Bib Gourmand Michelin recognition next year.

Parking was no problem as I was lucky to find metered parking just steps away from the front door. I walked in immediately taken with the charming decor and darkly lit romantic vibes, which is my favorite esthetic for any restaurant. The seating at the bar was yummy, thick comfy seats. The bartender greeted me warmly. He was cool and I hate that I didn't ask his name. He was attentive and masterful with the spirits. He asked if it was my first time, which it was, and since so, made me a tasty "welcome" drink with gin that was fantastic. I also ordered "the panty snatcher" a concoction of vodka, grapefruit, St Germain, rose water and orange. It was amazing. I will definitely be back for drinks. The drink menu is quite tempting. I had the Corn, Corn, Corn dish, which is polenta and corn kernels topped with popcorn. Yes, super unique and interesting. I had to try it. The popcorn was so light and flavorful straight out of the kitchen, but became chewy as it sat atop the piping hot polenta. I really enjoyed it however. Next time I'll eat all the popcorn first. I also had lobster dumplings, which was good but the dish wasn't cooked through. The filling wasn't hot and the pasta was very under on some bites. I was the first customer for the evening, so I can forgive that faux pas. I really enjoyed myself and I will return time and time again to try everything. The menu offers many things I love. Great concept. Cool vibes.

It's little changes like that that elevate the dish beyond other regular sushi offerings. It was so appreciated! We ordered the spicy tuna roll. It had the excellent tuna and then they put yum sauce on it. That was odd because it masked the beautiful taste of the bluefin tuna, and that made it a miss for me. If you order, do yourself a favor and tell them no sauce. The dragon roll had real snow crab inside and eel and avocado on top. This also had a crunchy topping that I would tell them to hold if I did it again. It didn't really add anything to the dish and it obscurred the taste of the tender eel a bit. Not until I broke open a piece to isolate the snow crab could I truly appreciate the delicate flavor. It got a little lost inside the vibrant roll. The red dragon roll was well balanced and exactly what I was expecting. The bluefin tuna could easily shine on top of this roll. And it did. It was rich and succulent. The tigerlilly roll was lovely and topped with salmon and roe. It says on the menu it was torched. Ours was not. It was perfect the way we got it though, so I wouldn't change anything. I also ordered eel sashimi and the avocado, asparagus and cucumber roll for something refreshing. We all shared the rolls as we had drinks at the bar. Our bartender was attentive, friendly, and brought the sushi along with serving us our drinks. The lychee martini was a hit. What an interesting and slightly tart flavor! It was a light-hearted and fun time and I would go back in a heartbeat .

Service (4.75/5): Our main server was very friendly and gave us a good overview of the menu as it was our first time. They were great and attentive. We were also served by a second server who dropped off our food and disappeared so quickly that we waited a while before they walked by again. When we finally got the chance to ask for soy sauce and sauce dishes, they grabbed the soy sauce from a nearby table and left before we could even get to asking for the sauce dishes. Nothing terrible, but we did feel a little awkward. Food (4/5): Sushi was both good and not good. Of the 3 rolls we ordered, the salmon avocado and tuna avocado were solid; the proportion of fish to rice was great and the fish quality was above average from your typical sushi restaurant. However, the Tigerlily was quite disappointing, especially at $22 for the roll. The roll was torched a bit too long, cooking the salmon almost all the way, but my main gripe was a mysterious creamy sauce that was drizzled on top. The roll ended up being way too heavy and the sauce overpowered the salmon and the little bit of ikura that was sprinkled on top. On the other hand, the chicken katsu sando was really excellent. Chicken was juicy, breading was light and crispy, and the fries were well-seasoned. My only suggestion for the kitchen is to slice the sandwich vertically instead of horizontally; you can see that the bread on half of the sandwich was mostly crust/air instead of the actual bread part. Ambiance (4/5): It's got an upscale, modern feel to it that would probably make a nice environment for a date night or catching up with friends over happy hour. I was there on a Tuesday evening, so it wasn't crowded. There was music playing but it wasn't too loud, so it was easy to have a conversation.
