The chicken and waffles and the omelet were good. My husband's steak was cold and the portion was very small. He ordered French fries but received unseasoned potatoes that lacked any flavor. My fish and chips were fine but also lacked seasoning, lemon, or any attention to detail. I specifically requested fries without Old Bay but received fries heavily coated in it. We also ordered a steak and eggs meal to go, which took about 30 minutes. When it was opened later, it contained only three small slices of steak. My brother-in-law genuinely thought he had been given someone's leftovers because the portion was so disappointing. My husband quietly paid the $300 bill while I still hoped someone might acknowledge the birthday or retirement with a simple mention, smile, or thank you. It never happened. We were never even offered a desert menu. We left without a goodbye or any acknowledgment from the staff. Disappointed doesn't begin to describe how we felt. We had many options in Frederick but chose Showroom because we expected a special experience. Pig's Barbecue is a solid spot with a welcoming atmosphere and excellent customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the overall experience enjoyable. The food was good, but I wouldn't say it's the best barbecue I've ever had. It was satisfying, and I'd still recommend giving it a try, especially if you're in the area. I also tried the banana pudding and the macarons for dessert. They were decent, though they didn't particularly stand out to me. Overall, what really makes this place worth visiting is the great service and comfortable atmosphere. I've never written a review before, because honestly, I've never been blown away by a restaurant before. Tonight was the first time I have ever tried PIGS BBQ. To say it was delicious was an understatement! The pulled pork was so tender and juicy and the dry rub chicken stole the show. The sides were amazing and it was all wonderfully topped off with a refreshing Honey Lemonade mixed drink. The service was great and very inviting. I'll definitely be returning and I'll be bringing a group, because food like this just needs to be shared with as many people as possible! I may end up having to buy a house nearby so I can justify the amount of times I'd go there in a single week. The moral of the story is : Go getcha some PIGS!! read more

Ok guys! So the very next day that I post my review about PIGS. Lisa (The owner) sent me a message apologizing about the whole situation and asured me that they'll correct the problem. So since I play soccer in FISC I stayed late againg with my teammates for some food and beer and sure enough they had food available this time I even got a free pitcher for the trouble.
