This picture doesn't do pier 49 justice. I ate 10 total slices of 6 different types of pizzas and loved every single one of them. It's hard to beat an unlimited salad bar, unlimited fountain drinks, and all you can eat pizza. The staff, though young, is always helpful, quick, and really nice. There is a ton of seating and it just gives off a sports team-party vibe that makes you think of your childhood. This place rocks. read more

I haven't been to Pier 49 in years and was very pleased with my experience! I ordered online, a personal sized 8" "Tourist" pizza. When I arrived the restaurant was empty but there was a push for assistance button and out came a cashier. He quickly confirmed my order and grabbed my awaiting pizza box and I was out the door only minutes after I had first arrived. I wished I had spent more time in the building just to explore the super cute old building. The "Tourist" was amazing with spinach Alfredo sauce and loaded with perfectly melted cheese. I was expecting more spinach from the sauce but it was still super tasty! The sourdough crust was both crispy and pillowy. The pizza was gone way to fast! Trying to park when coming from the south end of Springville is a bit tricky. I decided it was easier to stop in the Allen's parking lot and walk over than than make a u-turn up the busy road to fight to park on the street. This was the second of two stops in one night as I needed to weed out places I won't go back to. Now this place has a great location and should be doing a lot more business but it was empty doing mostly takeout. Aside from some Mexican joints which are family owned, most everything out here is fast food chains or places operating like one. Domino's feel. All very friendly and pizza ordered via phone was ready in less than 15 min. Ordered a Pizza with half sausage and mushroom and half pepperoni. Sausage was the crumble style that was unimpressive and is the norm for fast food pizza (want to impress, start by using real sliced Italian sausage), the sauce was not homemade or at least the consistency was not homemade and no flavor at all. Crust was ok, inch wide in some places. The sausage and mushroom toppings was not spread evenly (see photo) Prefer thin crust and is the reason I came here but what came in the box was thick crust, my bad as they did not ask what I wanted and assumed it was all thin crust. Since my move here, I have been making my own pizza every week, homemade dough, sauce and best mozzarella, fresh veggies, Italian sausage that is available. Thin crust, Sicilian, Chicago and deep dish, but this week was too busy with work and did not have time to make the dough. read more

I had the most delightful experience! I went on a date (with a really amazing man) Tuesday night and had the most fabulous time! I just recently moved into the area and I've driven by a few times, so we thought it would be nice to try their pizza. They had live music! We were delighted! What a fabulous treat after a year of disappointments from COVID! And they have a Foosball table upstairs, games and air hockey on the main level! This is now our official Tuesday night spot and hopefully Friday or Saturday night with the kids. Please give this restaurant a try! We need this restaurant to stay open! Apologies for my photo of a half eaten pizza, but it's a testament to how good it was that it didn't last long! We ordered the Full House Pizza where you get to choose 4 specialty pizzas (each kind makes up 1/4 of the pizza). We choose Fisherman's Wharf, Embarcadero, Lombard Street and Cable Car. It was awesome to be able to sample so many different kinds at once. (Perfect for the family who can't agree on what kind to get. Haha) We loved each one, but the unanimous favorite was the Fisherman's Wharf. Shrimp and crab on a pizza? Yes, please! Apparently, it's under brand new ownership and they're still working out some kinks getting everyone trained, but be patient with them because I'm sure they'll hit their stride soon and their pizza is delicious! First day reopened with new ownership and all I can say is "Your pizza rocks"! I have been looking for a sit down quality pizza joint and this is it!!! I'm excited for the community of Springville. This true pizza parlor will have a great vibe with what the owner wants to do. They are making building improvements and bringing in all kinds of fun new ways for community involvement. Games, arcade, dungeons and dragons nights. Go and get a huge variety of great pizza to go or better yet stay. I think it's only going to get better and it's already great!! Picked up some pizza to enjoy by the pool on a hot day to me it was nothing really special and tastes like a frozen pizza you can pick up at a supermarket, The crust was soft and really was missing that crunch I really enjoy from a well cooked pizza. The staff was also not very friendly, nor did the place look very clean. read more

I used to really really love this location. They had the best pizzas. I quit ordering from them because I don't feel like the pizzas are fully cooked. It's super doughy. The last two times my family has ordered. We have cook them longer in our own oven. Apart from that the sauce and topping perfect. They just don't cook them long enough anymore read more

We're new to Springville area and ever since we have moved here we've been regulars at pier 49 pizza. The gold rush pizza is the bessttt thing that has happened to me! Their other flavors are fun and good as welll but the best part of the pizza is the crust! Good crunch, good hold towards the center of the pizza. Fantastic place! We rented SUP next door and were sooo hungry when we dropped off the rental that we immediately went right next door after seeing the sign for Pho. I know what you're thinking. Pho? From a pizza shop? We thought the same thing. But after learning that the owner spent years in Korea as a teacher and his wife the Co-Owner was originally from Vietnam we knew we had to try the Pho! So we ordered a large bowl of the beef Pho, and a small cheese pizza...because it's a pizza shop with delicious pizza and can't pass it up even if the two dishes don't usually go together Let me just say the Pho was an experience! The broth was delicious, the vegetables were fresh and the noodles we were meant to be slurped The pizza came out second and was a perfect way to finish the meal. Springville Pier 49 is great, and they care about the quality of the pizza they make. When we used to live in Provo, we would drive to Springville just to eat there because the food and experiences were better than the Provo location by far. The Provo location was understaffed and often times waiting for someone to help you was a common thing. Too many people were out back smoking instead of working I think. We gave the Provo location another chance and the service wasn't that great the second time, nor the food. That's why we always choose Pier 49 in Springville because it had checked all of the boxes of a good restaurant. Friday evenings they have live music which is nice. The restaurant is small but is a historic building in downtown Springville, so it's nice to go there to experience that too. If you have a larger family or go as a group, their jumbo size pizzas are great. They have gluten free crusts, which is what I have to order due to allergy. They aren't dry or hard after cooking like some gluten free pizza crusts are. They have personal size pizzas, and sell slices as well. I think availability for personal pizzas is only 11:00 am- 1:00 pm. They could have that time extended but I am not sure exactly what time they stop serving those. I recently ordered their monthly special (check their website each month) where I got a Jumbo special pizza and got a med, one topping for $1. I got the "something for everyone" which is 25% cheese, 25% Alcatraz (supreme), 25% 49er (extra pepperoni) and 25% Ghirardelli (Hawaiian). So I felt that was a great sampling of what they have to offer. I really enjoyed the crust because it was a sourdough base, but I could see not everyone liking that. Their sauce was pretty good and I liked the cheese and fresh tasting toppings. The price was solid (with the special) and the San Francisco theme makes it an interesting place to visit. read more

The restaurant was clean. The staff were nice. The pizza? I personally didn't like it, hence the three stars. I had two different type of pizzas ... Pineapple and ham and a chicken something or other. Neither had much flavor and the wierd thing was, was there was no sauce on either pizza. I found that strange. My wife and I come here as often as we can when we make it into town. Sadly today we found out that a PIZZA place is serving Vietnamese Pho..... honestly, why would they add a Vietnamese noodle soup to a California style pizza place.... I have tried to eat lunch at this restaurant three times in the past two weeks. All I wanted was a slice and a drink. Apparently, the staff at Pier 49 are simply amazed by the fact that people will be coming in for lunch at noon, as they did not have any pizza ready at lunch! Seriously, they had no pizza ready by the slice. All the manager kept saying was, "We've got some pizza in the oven that will be out soon." Really? It did not dawn on you to have pizza ready at noon? I love the pizza, but am only giving 3 stars because the service at the Springville restaurant has been horrible for me. Hopefully I'm in the minority. Multiple times, they have been over 20 minutes late for a takeout order, and I just had to sit. The third time, they were "out" of sauce, and were waiting to get it from another store, but failed to tell me until I'd been waiting for 15 minutes. Arrggghh! No apology or anything, and the workers seemed put out that I was there. Besides the slow and poor service, the food is amazing, delicious pizza! I love their specialty pizzas. I was super disappointed with this. We had heard good things, maybe it was an off day? The pizza wasn't entirely cooked, and I ended up not being able to eat the hot wings. My daughter's cheese bread tasted funny so we took that away and didn't let her have anymore.
