My friend and I came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The menu is pretty simple, you can get slices or full pies of either New York style or Sicilian style. We got the New York pepperoni and cheese slices of pizza. They were good, but a little greasy. It wasn't too busy when we were there and there were a few tables available but they were all dirty. I have been dying to try Fini's pizza by the slice! So happy it is finally in Utah! When we entered the building, it was bright and clean, and we were greeted warmly. There was a short line so we waited patiently. When it was our turn, the girl helped us and was super friendly. I took my girls down, and we basically ordered one of each item on the menu, including the two seasonal gelato flavor flavors. *Pro tip: ask for your gelato after the pizza.* My girls snarfed down their slices and begged for more! Ok update. I went again and the pizza was so burnt I couldn't really enjoy the flavors other than the char unfortunately. My first time coming it was made perfectly I'm so bummed they're not more consistent. It seems they have an issue with burning the pizza like most of the reviews say. This place is incredible! I went out on a limb to try the white pizza and it was AMAZING! Be sure to drizzle some hot honey to make it outstanding! Either way, it's a must! The ambiance is cute, classic and chic and the customer service is outstanding! Came in again right at 11:15 am to give it another try. Pizza has been consistently luke warm. Ordered a grandma and a cheese slice. I mean the bottom is warm but the top is cold. They tasted good but I would prefer it to be warmer on the top. Perhaps adjust the warming oven to broil to get the top. Not sure what the answer is but that is now twice in over 4 months the pizza slices are cold/luke warm. read more

This place is an operational disaster. It gets two stars because I've had a couple good slices and they recently opened so I'll give them some grace. Half the slices come out cold or burnt and you wait an hour. They often forget your order. Most recently we ordered ahead online and it went past the pickup window, we went and talked to someone up front and he said he'd let them know in the back and it should be out shortly. Another 20 minutes go by, we go up and ask again and apparently it had been sitting there ready for 10-15 minutes. Took the pizza and it was soggy and floppy because it had been sitting around. Hmmm where to start. 1. I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni and there was "1" super thin slice on each of them...ONE. 2. I said to the woman in front of me (that had just picked up her pizza slices) "Those are all burnt! She said, (while giving me attitude), "that's the way they make them in New York". What?!? I've been to New York and the pizza was not burnt like this. 3. Then I ordered a beer and the cashier at the counter had no idea what type they had, or anything about them. Very disappointing experience. We tried to order a pizza around 8:00 PM, a full hour before the restaurant's 9:00 PM closing time. We called multiple times, but no one answered the phone. We then tried ordering through the website and were told they were too busy to make our pizza. Since their stated policy is that they stop taking orders 30 minutes before closing, we drove to the restaurant and arrived around 8:35 PM. When we got there, we were told that we "should have called" -- even though we had tried calling and no one answered. What made the experience even more frustrating was that when we arrived, the employees didn't appear to be overwhelmed with orders; they were sitting and looking at their phones. I understand that restaurants can get busy and sometimes have to stop accepting orders, but if you advertise that you're open until 9:00 PM and accept orders until 8:30 PM, customers should reasonably be able to place an order during that time -- or at the very least have someone answer the phone. Being told we should have called after our calls went unanswered was especially frustrating. Unfortunately, the poor communication and customer service made this a very disappointing experience. read more

Decent pizza, nothing special or great. I can see it staying busy merely because lack of options in the area. I got the cheese and pepperoni and underwhelming. This is more like a 2.5 star in my opinion, but not an option. I'd say slightly better than Sbarro chain pizza, which I actually do enjoy Sbarro. So if you're in a pinch and want some pizza by the slice, it's an easy and okay option in Utah city/vineyard. I prefer Lucy's pizza up the street off Orem state and center. read more

The food was very good. It's fun to have true New York style pizza near by. I am happy to have them in vineyard. They are by Bella's there is a cheese pizza with lemons and it's amazing. I need to try more of their pizza pies. It can echo and get a little loud inside so if you like to eat outside may want to do that. I am content with the service, not overly impressed but also not had any poor service. When a place stands out for all three that's when they get a 5 star from me. I will eat here again. NY Pizza is supposed to be slightly charred on the bottom. Those who knocked their rating down over this are used to chain pizza and not real NY style Pizza. As one who lived in NYC area this is best NY Style pizza I have had in Utah. In NYC I'd give it a 4-4.5 out of 5. A 5 in Utah for sure! Haven't had better. read more
