This is a great place to grab some pizza or to come with a large group to have dinner. The Chicago style pizza is great and the service is quick. We go to the one in Sandy, which is had great service and good food, but I've also visited the one in Saratoga Springs, which was not great and the service was awful. Pizza is kind of a big deal with our family. So believe me when I say that the Detroit style pizza from Via 313 is spectacular. The crust here is the perfect combination of crunchy. The marinara tastes like it came from mom's kitchen. All the toppings are super fresh and it has just the right amount cheesy goodness. We also tried the meatball appetizer and a Caesar salad. Both were delicious and we'd definitely get them again. Nathan was our server and he was super friendly and guided us through the menu - just what we needed on our first visit. They have an open kitchen set up which is cool to see from the dining room - that features booths and tables. There is also a small bar area with a TV and also an outdoor patio. Stopped in for a quick bite. The server was very helpful with questions about the menu and made some great suggestions. He was clearly very knowledgeable about the menu. He was also on top of refilling our drinks. The pizza was super yummy, very flavorful and I really enjoyed the house ricotta. Their dessert pizza (which they gave us on the house just because) tasted like French toast and was soft and fluffy. The restaurant was very clean. I especially appreciate the fact that their Parmesan and chili flakes shakes looked very well maintained and cleaned which is a plus when you eat with your hands! As a Michigander visiting from the Motor City, I was both excited and skeptical to try VIA313. Let me just say--they represent. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is Detroit. The décor--hub caps on the wall, bold 313s throughout the space--sets the tone perfectly. It felt like I wasn't so far from home, and that's before I even got to the pizza. I went with the Omnivore because I love a pizza loaded with toppings. Being no stranger to Detroit-style, I explained to my colleague how one of the defining features is the sauce on top--not the crust. VIA313 nails that signature detail. Our server, Caleb, was awesome--attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly proud of what they serve. I mentioned that the crust wasn't quite as thick as what I'm used to back in Detroit, and he gave a great explanation about how the dough doesn't rise for them as well in the colder months. Made total sense. The caramelized edge from the Wisconsin brick cheese wasn't as deep as I'm used to, but it was still packed with that rich, cheesy flavor. (I meant to ask about the cheese blend) Caleb also surprised us with some complimentary cinnamon sticks--and wow. Light, delicious, and perfectly balanced. The cinnamon and cream cheese drizzle were just right, and the light dusting of powdered sugar was a thoughtful touch I don't recall from the few times I've had them back home. It felt like a Utah twist on a Detroit classic. Caleb also recommended we try the "Hockey Sticks" next time, which swap out the cream cheese for maple syrup. You better believe I'll be back to give those a try. All in all, for being 1,681 miles from Buddy's in downtown Detroit, VIA313 delivers a pretty darn legit slice of the 313. Yummy and distinctive pizza! Unlike any other texture I've had before. The flavor was robust, I've never seen a pizzeria put the sauce on top but it works. We got the Ambassador pizza. I'm a foodie from California and I was passing through Utah to visit friends. This place stood out to me, among the many food options, and they did not disappoint. I will certainly go back any time I visit Utah. The customer service was friendly and the food was delivered in a timely manner. We arrived super late (right before closing) and the staff was still so friendly and not irritated with us. The inside of the restaurant also seems like a cool place to dine in. read more

Don't waste your time. Soggy pizza and leathery cheese. I called in for an order to be ready in 3 hours and got a notification that it was ready 20 minutes later. So I called and they said they'd remake it. Well, they didn't and my dad got 2 disappointing soggy pizzas for his birthday. Oh and it was $80. We ordered a large ambassador which comes with sausage, pepperoni, garlic, oregano, and ricotta. In pictures the small pizza didn't look that big, but the large pizza was more than enough food. First time at Via 313 and looking forward to more visits. We hit right before the lunch rush and brought a party of 12. We ordered several different pizzas and went off the recommendations of the wait staff. While Detroit style takes longer to cook, the entire meal was faster than expected and the food was outstanding. Pricing was great and serving sizes are large. I felt comfortable eating 2 pieces and not going in to a "food coma" back to work. They were super nice and gave us two dessert pizzas as we were wrapping up. Pizzas are all great at most via 313 but what sets this place apart is the level of service and the hospitality that delivers it. Christian was our server and he was amazing. He heard it was our first time and he gave us a complimentary pizza dessert which was amazing and to die for. I ordered a salad with modifiers, 100% accurate. We came here for a team lunch and were informed they didn't take reservations or call ahead seating. Let me say, parking was a nightmare. This area is very busy in the afternoon and all of us had to park pretty far away (near the gas station) to even get a spot. We showed up around noon and it was pretty busy we were concerned we wouldn't get a table. We told the hostess there would be about 12 of us and she told us to wait a few minutes. They have corn hole set up in the front of the entrance which is a nice touch. It was occupied our entire stay so if you plan to play, get there during a slower time. As our party grew, there was plenty if room in the lobby for us to wait for our table without us having to go outside which was really nice. After about 10 minutes, we were informed our table was ready and we were walked to the patio. There ended up being 11 of us and we ordered almost one of each appetizer and assorted drinks. I had the peach mule per the waitresses recommendation and it was very smooth. It wasn't super strong, but I definitely felt it! Of the appetizers, the cheese bread was a huge hit, the roasted artichoke was pretty good, but the way it was presented, none of us realized it was meant to be eaten with crackers. I'm not sure how the whole table missed that, but we were eating it with utensils. The roasted Broccoli and cauliflower was the least desired, but it seemed like those who tried it seemed to enjoy it. For my entree, I had The Cadillac. The prosciutto was very chewy and difficult to eat without it being pulled off the pizza. I think if I were to order it again, I would cut it up more to eat it. The best amd most talked about feature of the Detroit style pizzas was the cheese that lined the edges. It was so crispy and just really increased the flavor of the crust. My only real complaint is that we didn't see our waitress much for the size of our table. Drinks stayed unfilled, an individual at our table needed to leave and ordered their food to go and received their order last and a significant amount of time after everyone else. That was frustrating as we had been asking about how long it would be the few times we did see our waitress. Overall, it was a good experience. There was an order mistake that was resolved by someone receiving twice as much food, but for how many of us there were, I would consider that a win! I will be back for more of that cheese crust and to try out some new flavors. read more

I went into Via 313 unsure what Detroit style pizza was, and walked out not only full, but educated. The basic premise is that the pizza is rectangle shaped and the sauce is on top of the cheese. I don't like cheese, so I ordered it without, and the sauce was poured on the toppings. It's not spread out across the entire pizza, rather drizzled down the center. It's visually appealing, but I did spread the sauce myself, as I like to have each bite consistent. The pizza is good-I like the thicker crust and the flavor of the toppings, although I would have liked a few more toppings. I ordered pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms and there were some slices that only had a couple mushrooms on them. The pepperoni had a bit of a bite to it-if you don't like spicy stuff, be aware. Each pizza is made to order, so it can take awhile after you order for it to arrive. I appreciated that our server set that expectation with us. Once we knew how long it would be, we weren't upset that it took about 20 minutes. But had she not told us that, we would probably have gotten antsy. We enjoyed a salad as well as the draft root beer. The salad was good-the house dressing is Italian, with a light tangy flavor. The root beer has a strong flavor, and after one mug of it, I switched to water. It's good, but I don't have the stamina for refills. Overall, this is good pizza with friendly service. I was so excited to see this new and exciting restaurant in lehi, and I was not disappointed!! The wait was a bit long for a Wednesday night, but we didn't care! Party of 3 waited about an hour at 6pm. The 1 thing we were not expecting was the wait time once inside the restaurant. Pizzas are made to order, I believe, so it took about 30 minutes to get food once we had ordered. And it was very busy inside. But we were thankful that our waiter disclosed that at the time of ordering, so we weren't cranky! My friends tried a few of their cocktails, and they liked them! We ordered the cadillac and the 500, and they were amazing! Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I suggest adding hot honey to your pizzas! 10/10 We ended the night with the cinnamon bread, and it was absolutely incredible. We will be back to try more pizzas!! read more

I was born in Detroit, MI proper. Raised on Little Caesars personal pan pizza. When living in Texas, I had Jet's pizza at least two times a month. (If you know, you know). I'm not saying I'm a Detroit style pizza expert, but I know what a proper Detroit style should taste like. Via 313 is a great representation for those in Utah that want to know what the best style of pizza in the world tastes like. I got the Margherita and the Detroiter. Both were delicious. The crisp, cheesy crust and fluffy pizza dough was present. The cheese was delicious. And they placed the sauce on top of the cheese. Now, the sauce on top of the pizza is something I haven't encountered before. I do appreciate it as the dough didn't get soggy bbuuuttt I do wish there was more sauce. I'm definitely ordering from Via 313 again, but I will order a side of pizza sauce to dip my pizza in from here on. I lloovvee pizza sauce. Now, as a comparative, is Via 313 as good as Jet's? I would rank Jet's higher. But I would never pass up eating Via 313. This is comparing an A+ to an A-. This is just so people know where Via 313 ranks if they've experienced Jet's before. Just had dinner here tonight with the kids and we will definitely be back. My wife wanted to try the Cadillac which definitely didn't sound like my style, but it was fantastic! Liked it more than the carnivore. The pizza takes awhile but they were upfront about this and have a fun outdoor area for the kids. Our cheese came out burned unfortunately but they took it back, no questions asked, cooked another and then comped us not only the cheese pizza but some cinnamon sticks (fantastic.).
