My mom, daughter and I went here for lunch. My mom got the Thai salad and the Thai pizza. She liked the Thai salad but didn't like the Thai pizza. She didn't like the taste and didn't like the crust. She said the crust on her pizza and cheese bread tasted like cardboard to her. I got the pepperoni pizza and I liked it, but I'm also not picky at all when it comes to pizza. Great pizza by the "slab" and close by work for me. I love all the different flavor and ingredient options they have. I enjoy trying new pizza flavors, and this place is great for that! They also have a great Gluten Free pizza too (you can choose the type of pizza and they make it GF crust for you). First time trying Slab Pizza and I am a fan. For starters - the price was actually reasonable. We got two slabs - I made mine a combo with a side Greek salad and a fountain drink. My husband also got a fountain drink. There were a lot of choices but when trying a new pizza place - I always find myself curious if their standard pepperoni is eh, good, or great - so I went with the classic. My husband (who had lunched at Slab many times with work buddies) chose the Super Meat Pie. He warned me that it was more pizza than I expected - he wasn't lying. The salad was good but nothing super special. The pizza was great. The crust was on the thinner side but it worked. The sauce and cheese and pepperonis were perfectly proportioned for the amount of crust and cheesy and the right amount of greasy for pizza. After the first bite, I had to tell myself to slow down and just enjoy it. My husband also enjoyed his selection but he already knew he would. The employees were helpful and friendly but other than taking your order and brining the food to your table - there wasn't much interaction. One thing that did surprise me was the table set up. All of the tables are long tables where more than one group of people could sit - very communal. When we were in it was slow enough that we had a table to ourselves, but it is possible on a busy day you could end up sitting next to people that you don't know. This is one of the best places for pizza in Utah for a few reasons. 1. You get 3 large slices for less than $10. 2. It fills you up and there's a ton of options. I am not a red sauce person and I love that I can come here and get the Thai chicken pizza or the pesto pizza or a BBQ pizza. 3. Because the orders are large for each individual person you can come and share a bunch of different flavors with your SO or a friend for a reasonable cost. The crust is thin and the flavors are bold. They open at 11 am. On 7/5/25 I went at 11, the sign still said closed but I could see the lights were on and workers were inside working on dough. I tried the door but it was locked. It's time to update my review after not having visited since I initially made my first review when they opened. I like the concept, I like the price, I do not like the pizza. It is sad. I wish I could like it, it seems like I should like it, but the crust just doesn't do it for me. Too crispy, too thin, just too bland overall for me. When I think of my favorite pizza places, I could just eat their crust plain. I could not do that here. I also still get a headache here. I've had to feed a crew a few times, and that can get pretty spendy if everyone is getting their own thing. So when I need to do it, I call ahead to Slab, pop it in park, head inside, and grab the food. I wish there was a way when I ordered ahead, for me to pay ahead of time. A quick check shows that they don't allow delivery/takeout via the Yelp app, so that adds an extra step. I also am not sure the best way to pick up--I usually wait in line because I have to pay at the register, but the line has never been that long so I'm okay with it. Is there a pickup only line? If there is, I haven't seen it. If there isn't, I kinda there there ought to be. I haven't tried any really wild toppings, but the regular cheese and pepperoni are good. I had heard about Slab pizza multiple times but hadn't ever been until this week. As far as pizza goes, it's unique in the sense that you can get a customized pizza without ordering an entire pizza. I'm not big on leftovers and always hate wasting 1/2 my pizza when I go out but they have such a large menu of different type of thin crust pizzas made for a single serving and at a decent price. It's hard to mess up pizza, but this place manages to do it. The biggest issue is the crust. It's very bitter and is far too dense. I thought this would be a one-time thing, but unfortunately, it's not. The crust is always bitter and just weird. The cheese and sauce also seem to be of inferior quality, and their specialty pizzas just aren't executed very well. I'll continue to try this place mostly because work seems to like them. When we go to the thanksgiving point we often make the stop here for dinner. When you come make sure to step out side your comfort zone a little. It is convenient to be able to order 1.25 pizzas for my 5 person family, and they really have that crust very similar to real Napolitano crust, in that it is thin, crispy on the bottom, and chewy. I'm very picky about my pizza crust and this place meets those standards. Service: So this is the Lehi location. The kid working the counter was not very helpful. He didn't know anything about the point system they have, and also made it clear that he knew little about the menu. Also, the soda machine was out of ice, and the Diet Coke was on the flat side. An hour after first discovering a dearth of ice, there was STILL no ice. I mentioned it to the person who looked like the manager/supervisor. His response was "I know. Someone is coming to do it." How long do you know something like that before you fix it? Come on, Slab. Get it together. Cleanliness: It was fine in the eating area. The women's restroom was adequate. The men's restroom... Walked right up since there was no line and ordered a total of three "slabs" of pizza and a slab of cheese bread. Two adults, one child. Three waters. Nothing crazy. Waited for 45 minutes before walking up to say something. Apparently with the "busy" Friday night swarm we got forgotten or overlooked. We waited for another 10 minutes and then had to leave to make our movie time of 7:45. A solid hour of waiting and nothing but empty bellies and frustration. Won't be coming back here again. I love Slab. Not only do you feel like fresh ingredients are making their way into your appetite but the tastes and size is awesome. A slab is a quarter of a very large pizza. Obviously if you shoot for the more elaborate or decorated toppings it is more buck than bang. But each flavor iced tried has been worth it. The chicken bacon ranch is my go to and never disappoints. With crunchy crust with juicy bacon bits, tastes creamy cheese and a ranch mix, cannot complain! Out of all the places in the lehi during lunch hour, this is the most relaxed. The crust on this was perfectly thin and crispy. The meats were tasty. The cheese was gooey (totally a word!) I would have enjoyed some more sauce but that's just me. My biggest gripe is that when i got some gelato for dessert, it came with a tiny little spoon, kind of what Baskin Robins gives you as a sample spoon. Not cool. Slab pizza is a solid choice if you're not wanting to break the bank. They had relatively quick service and you get what you pay for here. For $6.25 I got a pretty decent size Slab of pizza! The only downside to the experience I had here was when I ordered. I thought I had ordered a Hawaiian pizza but substituting out the ham for pepperoni. I'm not sure if I ordered wrong or the person taking my order heard me incorrectly, but nonetheless it was still a good pizza. They left out the pepperoni and I was a little disappointed when I got home and checked it to not have pepperoni. I'm just going to say the fault was mine for not checking it when I recurved it. I came here for lunch because it is close to my office, and my husband and kids really love the one down in Provo. It was good. It was hard to decide what to get; the lady at the register said my choice of the pesto pizza was a really good one, and she seemed really sincere, like it was her favorite. So I ordered it. They have mostly long tables, so I sat down at one end of a table with my number and don't wait very long before my pizza came out. It was really good!
