But employees are aware the men's bathroom sink does not dispense water. there is no way to wash hands after using men's bathroom. there is also no out of order sign on men's bathroom door. this is health code violation, completely unsanitary and should be fixed / mitigated. so giving a bad review due to this men's bathroom issue only so management gets it fixed. employees aren't plumbers after all. owner or manager should call maintenance asap. Also, buy and use an out of order sign when bathroom isnt working, otherwise people use the toilet then cant wash up after, which is gross. read more

I met a friend here for lunch. The line was not very long, but they were understaffed. I kind of wonder if they should do it like Dutch Bros and have an employee go down the line and take orders so they can get the pizzas started. Or like, have paper order forms or something. Food-wise, my pizza at Blaze is always really good! I consistently make my own. I was sad that they didn't have the garlic knots anymore; those things were so good. On this particular visit, I just felt bad because we could tell that they were super overwhelmed. Their systems were having trouble, there were employees doing the jobs of multiple people, and the manager looked stressed. We tried to be patient, but the wait and responsiveness of anyone was pretty rough. I'd come back if I were in the area. Super nice and friendly employees but they have been trained to give very little cheese and toppings.. I only wanted 2 toppings and had to ask for more of the same topping 4 times. After the first time, they give you very little - literally 4 olives so you need to keep asking for more and more until it's such an embarrassment that you just stop. The pizza here is great! What is lacking seems to be management. I understand there is a worker shortage, but there needed to be probably two more people working to keep the line going, and it doesn't seem like this location was hiring or looking for more employees, so I don't think the issue was that. Instead, it seems more that the management needs to manage better. The employees seemed to be unsure of who had which responsibilities, and they were very short with each other because of the obvious stress they were feeling over the growing line and lack of clear roles and responsibilities. We got there right before the dinner rush arrived and we still had to wait 15 minutes to order because no crusts were ready. By the time we finished our food the line was out the door, so I'm assuming those people were waiting 30-45 minutes just to order. Another issue was that the restaurant was out of multiple key ingredients, which seems like an ordering issue because we were there at the beginning of the night. Overall, the food is delicious but the service is unfortunately lacking. I'd love to see the management make some changes because the pizza is delicious and it's a shame everyone (including the employees) had a sub par experience here. Also, I have seen on Yelp the other sub par reviews are told to go to the website to contact them. CUTE PLACE! The service was okay, when I first walked in I didn't really know where to go or who to talk to, but they were also very busy and as a customer service worker myself, I've been there. It's hard to keep smiling when there's a group of 20 people that just walked through that door. The garlic bread was really wet, and the edges a were burnt on everything we got. The Red Vine was the best thing out of everything we got. The BBQ pizza left a bad taste in my mouth, but the Red Vine I would go back for. The shop itself is a fun, and cute place I just wish the food had been better. But who knows maybe this "blaze" pizza just isn't my thing and somebody else would love it? I do have to say the FRESH toppings were nice, and I do love that they offer drinks with sip lids instead of straws! read more

I love Blaze pizza even though it is a chain, I wish Utah had more of them! The value for the BYO pizza I think can't be beat. The staff is always friendly even when I request "an insane amount of roasted garlic" they pile it on for me! The dining room is always open with a lot of windows bringing in natural light. They responded "it was slower earlier and they sent employees home to make up on labor hours" Very odd a place so busy would send employees home to impact the customers. Y'all, when I say that at 9pm last night I was in my pj's, face washed and 1/2 into movie night with my husband, I turned to him and looked at him and he said, "Pizza?". Bahahaha. We decided to skip the gross cardboard stuff we usually try and get a good fire oven pizza- Blaze it was! This was our first time at this establishment and it was yum! Here's what we ordered: Build Your Own Pizza - Spicy Red Sauce - Fresh Torn Mozzarella - Pepperoni - Fresh Basil - Peppercinis - Artichokes - Salt + Dried Oregano - Olive Oil Drizzle Boy oh boy! Just what we needed!! It was so delicious! The only thing that we will choose to do differently, today (hahaha yes we liked it so much we are going back) is to ask for a little less sauce, and see if they could not drape the water from the fresh mozzarella and basil onto the pizza because it kind of made the pizza soupy and too "saucey". Other than that, honestly the pizza was exactly what we wanted! We also asked for a side of ranch and the ranch was so good and a perfect pair to our pie! Like I said, we are going back for round two today! EDIT* Went back today and enjoyed every bit of it! We opted for the high rise dough which is an up charge and with the extra dough, we could have split the pizza instead of having personal ones- plenty of food. I also opted for light sauce and I wish I would have gotten normal amount on the high rise dough. I think lighter sauce on the regular crust is what I'll do going forward. I gave up on having hope for Pieology, so my BF brought me to Blaze. It was pretty busy, but we got our order and out the door within 20ish mins. Not bad. I didn't really like feeling rushed as soon as I walked in the door even though I was standing back by the door trying to read the menu. My fave was the Pesto Garlic Cheesy Bread. I wish their pizza was as fluffy and gooey. Weird because you'd think it would be? The red dipping sauce was delish. I ordered the Hot Link Pizza but was hesitant about the spicy red sauce. I asked the girls working, and they said it wasn't spicy. I told them I wasn't really feelin' spice that day. They offered to mix regular red with spicy red (which I thought was really cool to offer), but the sauce turned out to be way too spicy for me to handle. Can't trust another person's level of spice, huh?! Beware. You can tell that they don't really want to add a lot of ingredients to the pizza (to keep the line moving?), but there was like no one behind me. It made me feel rushed and like what I wanted to add was "too greedy". WHATEVER. I will have to keep searching for a perfect personal pizza place... aka the four Ps! read more

I had to ask if they ran out and if I could substitute it for something else, then they put it on the wrong pizza so I had to ask again to add it on.
