The portion was was large which was nice, but I usually finish mine when it's not so salty. The guacamole on top was barely edible. I also noticed that here, they put a large amount of the dressing on top; at the Park City location, they put the dressing on the side. The place was nice and spacious, the staff was nice, and the service was fast. The food did look quite fresh behind the counter. I think that if they can nail the details like the dressing on the side and the saltiness, they will do great. Overall, I'm very glad that a Vessel Kitchen is finally open in the Provo/Orem area!

We were charged an additional $1.50 for each add-on, yet my salad arrived with zero goat cheese, only four tiny slices of red beets, and five tiny slices of gold beets. Cubby's has always been notoriously stingy with the beets, which is exactly why I paid extra for additional toppings. Instead, I ended up with even less than the standard portion. In the end, I paid $18 for what was essentially a bowl of spring mix with two slices of avocado, three orange segments, no goat cheese, and nine paper-thin slices of beets. That's unacceptable. To make matters worse, we tried calling to speak with a manager, but the phones were turned off at 8:15 p.m., even though the restaurant advertises that it's open until 9:00 p.m. This was the last straw with Cubby's. The night shift clearly needs better training and quality control. Charging customers for extras and then not including them is not okay. If you want to waste your money on food that is carelessly prepared and doesn't match what you paid for, this is a great place to go.

Meraki Orem absolutely nailed it…read more Coming from the food and beverage industry for 30+ years, I know how incredibly difficult it is to build a great concept and even harder to grow it while maintaining the food, service, hospitality, cleanliness, and culture that made it special in the first place. Our family were HUGE fans of Meraki in Las Vegas. And when I say huge fans, I mean we were there minimally once a week, gathered around the table enjoying Meraki together. After relocating to Salt Lake City, we heard Meraki had opened in Orem and couldn't wait to make the trip down. We finally did today after visiting Dreamwalk in the mall, and WOW. Vegas, watch out. Orem is bringing it. 10/10 across the board. The tzatziki, hummus, steak, rice--everything was fantastic. The restaurant itself was spotless. The fixtures and build-out look incredible. The staff, service, and management were top-notch from beginning to end. But what impressed me most was the hospitality. We happened to arrive just before a major rush. Within minutes, we watched probably 20 people come through the doors and the restaurant go from a quiet Sunday to packed. I watched the manager immediately recognize the surge and seamlessly move throughout the restaurant, supporting the staff and taking care of guests as if everyone were sitting in the dining room of their own home. No panic. No drop in service. Just genuine hospitality. That is Meraki. To the owners, management, and entire Orem team: Well done. I tip my hat to you. Taking a successful concept and recreating that same culture and experience in another market is incredibly difficult and you absolutely nailed it. We will definitely be back. And one small request: Please bring a Meraki closer to Daybreak! We're here, we'll promote you, and I promise you'll have some very regular customers waiting.

The pita also has not been hot, light, or fluffy, but cold, a little hard, and bleh. The fries have been room temp. Instead of hot and crispy. The service is still great.
