I can honestly say this was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff didn't care about their customers at all. I had high expectations based on the reviews I read, but clearly, those glowing stars are either fake or from people who don't know what good service looks like. They claim to iron clothes, but judging by what I received, it's obvious they don't. My items looked worse than if I had done them myself--wrinkled, uneven, and clearly rushed with no attention to detail. I can't fathom how they even operate with such laziness and lack of care. They permanently affixed labels with the account's last name in each article of clothing. In some cases it's impossible to hide and in some cases itchy and they're absolutely impossible to remove without leaving residue by their own admission. This was not discussed ahead of time. The damage to the clothes my family work clothes is breathtaking as we have a lot of dry clean only office wear. read more

I have been going to Pico Cleaners for years, and they always do a great job. The service is great, and they always get it done on time.

About a year ago I started coming here. I wasn't thrilled with the nearby dry cleaner that I had five to for the past five years. They weren't exactly horrible bud a few things that turned me off. A few times the dry cleaned items had a musty or chemical odor. They lost a few items but always compensated me. I received a few coupons in the mail from Lico Cleaners and thought I'd try them out. At first it was a trial situation. But now I won't go anywhere else. ALL the employees are super nice., attentive and genuinely look like they enjoy working there. The manager (Robert) always greets me with a smile and makes us very accommodating with specific requests. I usually leave in a better mood than when I arrived. They have NEVER lost a garment nor made me wait a few days to locate one. The quality of the work is exceptional. They let me use coupons on all of my visits (not just the first time). Also. I've noticed that when talking with fellow customers they also rave about Pico Cleaners. They apparently feel the same as me. This used to be my favorite dry cleaner 10-12 years ago, back when I lived in West L.A. They also altered a ball gown for me around that time, so quite naturally when I needed new outfits altered for some big events I have coming up, it was a no-brainer for me to bring them here. I deeply regret that. I no longer live on the West side but in the South Bay, so based on my previous trust, I made the drive expecting the same level of service I got a decade ago. Unfortunately, that was a mistake and I should have checked the recent reviews first. MAKING MY OUTFIT WORSE THAN WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN The worst is the apparent stain at the bottom of my brand new WHITE pantsuit that I brought to them for altering. As you can see from the "before" photos, there is no stain anywhere. If there had been a stain when I brought it, I would have asked them to remove it. But when I picked it up and tried it on at home, I saw that ugly brown liquid drip there. Like somebody was drinking soda or coffee while altering my pants and caught it mid-spill. Why did they not mention this? Did they even try to get it off? Or were they counting on me doing exactly what I did-- not noticing until I was gone. Now I have to take it to a separate cleaner and pray they can get it out of this beautiful jumpsuit I've never worn. I tried calling Pico Cleaners one time and no answer. I won't bother again since I'm not driving back out there, and I would never trust them at this point. ALTERATIONS ARE SO-SO I brought about 3 pants jumpsuits and one feathered dress here to be shortened and taken in. The shortening and sizing down went fine, but I can tell that all they did for the hem on pants that were too long was cut it with scissors. It's obvious from the uneven cut. I could have done that. HAPHAZARD JOB FOR AN UNREASONABLE PRICE But the feathers on the dress needed to be sewn down (they kept flopping out), and the ladies were skeptical of whether it could be done but they took the job. Charge was $85 for them to sew a single thread over the feathers (I could have done that). The thread came out the first time I wore it, and I will have to sew them back down again myself. This place has taken a real dive since I left West L.A. I do not recommend. read more

I took a suit and a dress shirt there to be dry cleaned and I was desperate as I needed it back as soon as possible and definitely before the next day and had been understandably turned away. However when I walked in, everyone seemed to be smiling and in good spirits, and the owner was incredibly responsive to any questions and went out of his way to help me and told me to come pick up my items tomorrow early. Just call and ask they have been essential events like Grammys Emmys and many other red carpet events. The service has fallen off. They've lost a very important article of clothing and can't seem to give me the time of day to try and find it. I've been told numerous times that they were going to check the security footage and call me and then...nothing. Most recently I brought a suit in to be pressed...(just pressed because it has just been cleaned and I didn't want to clean it again so soon). I was very specific about just needing it pressed and when I went it I pick up I was being charged for a full dry cleaning. The manager is always too busy to deal with anything. I've used them several times because of the proximity to our house. Our clothes were cleaned well the first couple of times -- it was never anything complicated, just some men's shirts, silk blouses and work trousers. A few months ago I brought in a couch cushion cover to be cleaned after we found a stain. The stain was successfully removed but when I brought it home, I realized the color was several shades lighter than the rest of the cushions. What used to be an off-white/beige became white! The worst part is that it was also shrunken so we couldn't get it to fit back onto the cushion. I now have to contact the furniture company to replace the cushion cover. I've had the other covers from the same couch dry cleaned at other places and they turned out just fine, so this issue is specific to Pico Cleaners. We decided moving forward that we would only bring in our clothes (no more upholstery) to be cleaned but after the last load of clothes we brought here, we won't be returning. They are not upfront about pricing and so you never know exactly what you are paying for each piece. I brought in 13 items and didn't realize that they had "rejected" 5 items for damage. I wish they had communicated this to me when I picked up the clothes. I left thinking that I had all 13 items cleaned and did not appreciate being surprised when I pulled out something to wear only to realize then that it was never cleaned! I'm also quite confused about why 2 of the 5 items were "rejected". I couldn't even find the damage on them after careful inspection. I took those clothes to another dry cleaner, and they were successfully cleaned without any mention of issues. It's honestly puzzling. read more

He went above and beyond and he also walked the dresses to my car himself so they don't drag on the floor and placed them properly so they don't get wrinkled. We have linen curtains from the shade store. The shade store recommended Pico Cleaners, and they did a nice job. They come to your home, remove curtains, and then put them back on the track when they deliver them clean. Our curtains are remote operated, so I was worried the track or motor could be damaged. Also, the curtains have complicated pleating, which I thought wouldn't look good afterwards. But no, Guillermo was a pro. I recommend Pico cleaners for your nice shade store curtains. read more

Jacob cleaned my real skinned zebra splatter paint carpet. I went to 5 different places before I could find someone who said they thought that they had the skill to be able to take on my Carpet. I was turned down by so many places, and Jacob made me feel so relieved, I was so extremely happy. During COVID I opened a dog sitting service and unfortunately, the rug became every dogs favorite pee pad. He washed the rug entirely, the smell is completely gone. This is a prized rug, as not only is it real, but it is art, with splatter paint of gold and pink which is the running theme in my living room. I based my entire living room color scheme over this rug, and I know it sounds so stupid, but he saved my living room interior decorations. None of it would have made sense without this piece. I think PICO CLEANERS is a TERRIBLE DRY CLEANERS!! I do NOT recommend coming to PICO CLEANERS . I have been coming here for years but I will not come anymore after my past experience. The quality of this place has really gone down. The owner Jacob is rude!! Here is my experience I dropped off my husband's dress shirt and the gentleman recommended we do dry cleaning. When I came to pick it up I checked the dress shirt and noticed there was a light stain on it. The employee took it to back to spot clean it. After they cleaned it there was a huge yellow stain on it from the chemicals they used to clean it. The employee asked if I can come back to pick it up at a later date. I PAID approximately $7 for dry cleaning and left. Came back a few days later, I check the shirt and there is a larger yellow stain. It ridiculous that they do not care to check their work. I asked for the manager and the Owner Jacob comes and was very rude and says to me what do you want me to do about it??? It's fine your husband can still wear it. I explained to him my experience and he didn't care and just walked away. If a owner treats his clients like this then you should not do business with him. read more

I know there are mixed reviews, but we had great customer service and were in and out of the cleaners quickly. I have been in Beverly Hills since 1998, working in the hotel industry. I met Sherman and Jacob because of their relation with the local hotels, and from a hotel/ vendor perspective, they are truly the best. Pico Cleaners has come through when one of our guests going to the Oscar's, needed last minute alterations. We called Pico and they sent one of their tailors over. The job was done and the guest was very grateful. Pico Cleaners also is very flexible and helpful when dealing with last minute requests, and rush jobs. Most recently, one of our guests bags was stained when our Bell closet was being painted. The paint was all over one side of the bag, and we were scare it would not come out.
