This review is long overdue. We struggled to find a good dry cleaner in LA until we found this spot. My boyfriend takes all of our clothes here - suits, dresses for weddings, as well as everyday clothes that require cleaning and they always come back clean and at a very reasonable price. The owner is so kind and really goes out of his way to smile and be friendly to customers. I even took them my Anthropologie faux fur blanket after an unfortunate incident where a construction crew didn't put a tarp down to protect our belongings resulting in everything in the room including this throw blanket being coated in a fine layer of fiberglass dust/sandings. They cleaned it impeccably and restored it back to new, and charged way little than I thought they would for such a large and heavy blanket. read more

Absolute BEST EVER cleaners - from taking out stains that might have been there since 1969! Seriously tho, they have magic in removing imperfections. The seamstress is truly gifted - and can re-knit broken cashmere stitches and bring them back to new. Prices are very good. On the advice of a friend, I tried Blue Note recently. While the quality of the cleaning was just fine, the service and their pricing scheme, was not. I took a total of 6 items to Blue Note. I was a first time customer, and I had a coupon for 40% off. Before handing them the coupon, I asked what the "regular" price for 6 items would be. They could not tell me. They asked if I had a coupon. I said (not thinking fast enough) yes. Then they agreed to give me a price. So I asked how much of a 'discount' this was, they said 30%. I said oh, okay, well I have a 40% off coupon since I'm a first time customer... and the man said oops, that was the 40% off price already, and refused to lower the price any further. Of course, this '40% off' price was higher than what I regularly pay at another nearby cleaner. Not by much, but still... their coupon practice is just a scam. When picking up my items a few days later, they tried to charge me a higher price than what was quoted when I dropped off! Quality of the cleaning was good. But with so many cleaners around, I wont be back to Blue Note. read more

I saw the processes done in front of me took about 10 minutes they charged me $32. Horrible service by the Asian man (said he was the owner). Will not go back. rip you off. This is hands down the best dry cleaners I've ever been to. The owners are the sweetest couple, and are always happy to see me. It's amazing how they remembered me after only going a couple of times. I'm usually the one that drops off and picks up the dry cleaning for the bf & me, but one day he dropped off the dry cleaning and he swore they remembered me by just my phone number. True enough, when I went to pick up our dry cleaning a couple days later, they asked me if that was my boyfriend who dropped it off, and the wife told me that he was a handsome man. EXTRA POINTS! They've been open for a while now, but their "Grand Opening" sign is still up. Good thing too! It gets you 30% off the dry cleaning services. Oh, and if there's a lot of clothes, the husband will always make extra trips and bring them all to your car. The only downfall is that the shopping center is kind of difficult to get into (it's the shopping center where Natale Thai is), but they have two designated parking spots just for them in the front that I never had to wait for. I don't usually write reviews, but after going to Blue Note Cleaners for over a year and consistently being pleased with their work, I figured I should take the time to share with the yelp community what a great little business this is. I was first attracted to them because they use a more environmentally friendly wet-cleaning process, but I've continued to go to them because every time I walk in, they smile like they are glad to see a familiar face and quickly assist me with whatever I have. My sweaters come back looking fresh and new, and they even got out oil stains on one of my favorite dresses. Most recently, I went in with my usual dry cleaning and brought in another task: some french-door curtains that I needed altered. I knew that wasn't usually their work, but the lady who works there quickly agreed to take on the task for me and did so for a VERY reasonable price. I'm sad that other people have given this place poor reviews; I really don't see how it is even possible. They have handled everything I've brought in with extreme care and have done so with a gracious smile. read more

Let's be clear. There are dry cleaners on LITERALLY every block. Usually more than one. The way to set yourselves apart is not to try to swindle your customers. This place seemed OK from the reviews so I called and asked for a price to dry clean a few items. When I arrived less than 10 minutes later, they tried to charge me more. A very high end resale shop turned me onto this cleaners. What a blessing! I was astonished that they were able to make one of my mother's hopelessly stained silk scarf look brand new again. I also brought them evening gloves that another cleaners had charged a lot for without even fixing the problem. They had said that the makeup stains couldn't really be removed. I've lived in the area for 3 months now and am super impressed with this dry cleaners. You get Beverly Hills service and quality for not-Beverly Hills price and attitude. They are the nicest people and their service and attitude is top notch. Great prices still as the 30% off grand opening special doesn't look like it's going anywhere. For no additional cost, the wife fixes all my broken buttons and she even sewed some extra buttons on a shirt at my request for free. Finally!! I found the perfect cleaners. Fazio quality but without the ridiculous pricing. The husband and wife who run the place are sooo nice. The wife apparently does all the alterations and she fixed my favorite pair of jeans perfectly. My sweaters came back looking and fitting great. They even replaced some buttons on my button down shirts for free. At first I thought the pricing would be outrageous cause it was in the beverly hills area but it wasn't. It was mid range which is fine. I've tried some other cheaper spots but get what you pay for. They remember my name the second time I came around which gives the place a great personal touch. This people broke buttons on a vintage sweater, left a black stain on a yellow organza shirt, and they can't remove smells out of clothing. They ruined some of my clothes. I was so upset that I now have to find new buttons and hopefully someone who can remove that black stain. I didn't even want to go back to complain or say, "Hey! I tailor EVERYTHING, and i mean everything and he always does it wonderfully. He is very flexible with me. One time I needed to pick something up on my way to the airport, i called him and he dropped it off to my uber and told me to pay later. He has a lot of trust in his customers. It was the day before my wedding and my husband forgot to dry clean his tux, we took it to him and he had it ready in an hour.... and no charge for his gift to us :). I used to always look for the cheapest alternative when it came to dry cleaning, and to no surprise no one really stood out. Since moving to this area, and Blue Note being so close and easy to get to, I didn't care what it cost. I thought I'd give it a shot. 7 trips later I can say they've taken amazing care of my suit and jacket, returned some cuff links left in a pocket tied neatly in a bag to the hanger, repaired pockets, tapered stuff, and even cleaned my blue suede shoes. So I would probably give 2.5 stars if I could. I've been coming here for a while and after this last issue I had with them I have decided to stop going back. When I started coming here their prices were really great compared to what was in the area but they have increased their prices so now it's not really worth it. I've been coming here for about two years and they have only messed up two items but when they did I felt like they should have offered me a credit or something like that (because the stuff wasn't cheap). I didn't get anything but an apology and felt kind of weird asking for something. DO NOT come here for alterations. The woman does not speak english and won't understand what you want her to do. I call them the miracle dry cleaners... they've been able to save EVERY clothing item my wife and I have brought in... including many stains courtesy of our infant and even a paint stain that two other dry cleaners had unsuccessfully tried to remove. Honestly, the paint removal achievement was mind-blowing considering it had happened 4 years earlier and like I said, two others had tried to remove the stain and failed. On top of their magic dry cleaning powers, they do incredible work on denim, with original stitch hems at a very reasonable price with incredible turnaround! I have been going to this place for about 4years now. Up until a few months ago the place was the best dry cleaners i ever been to and i drove across town just to go to them. The husband and wife that ran it were friendly and accomodating. Now they have some other people running it and when i ask about the old owners they tell me they're in Palm Springs at the other store and will be back soon. 2 months they say this. So today i go to pick up my clothes and there is a green stain on my white t shirt that i didn't put there. So i ask what it is and the gentleman responds that its the thread of the shirt and not a stain. (mind you there is a lady in the store at the same time and she's telling me i agree with you) First off...really. It's a white t shirt why would someone use green thread. The gentleman is adamant he didn't put that there and that its the way the shirt was made. Ha!! So then i ask him for the name of the shop in Palm Springs so i can call there and speak to the people that used to run this place...his response i don't know the name of it!!!! Seriously...Anyway so after that i said just ring me up so i can go home and i tell them they lost my business. I then get to my house and look at the receipt and the guy has the audacity to CHARGE me for the T-Shirt that he messed up. I then call the shop to speak with him and he doesn't come to the phone becuase he is too busy pressing shirts the lady says. It just gets better. All in all this used to be a great place when it was run by the prior OWNERS. These New OWNERS have no customer service skills and lie to you that the old owners are coming back when they're not. I will not go back to this place unless the old owners end up coming back and will tell my friends not to go there as well.
