I dropped off a few items on a Monday and they were ready that Thursday. They don't give you a phone call unless there's a delay so refer to your ticket to know when your items will be ready! Everything came back quickly, so clean, and they don't use overly fragrant products. Whole process was very fast, straightforward and smooth. I paid $8 for pants and $12 for a down jacket. They alleviated so much stress by getting our laundry done for us, and they didn't just get it done - they did it right. Living in LA it is hard to find a affordable, dependable anything, well this place meets all boxes. The owner is almost always on site, and they are patient, affordable, and very thorough. I had a pair of my wife's leather pants that needed to be cleaned and they said "I will test if out first and see what I can do." Not only did they call with the results, but they were able to fix the issues. We go to them for all of our drycleaning and big item cleaning needs. This is one of those local businesses that deserves lots of praise, lots of continued steady business, and more of mouth marketing by those of us who have had the luck to experience their work. I have been using Paramount cleaners exclusively since 2014. I've not only used it for all my laundry and dry cleaning shirts suit pants especially items but also pillows draperies Sheers, blankets, comforters down Stuft items, etc. They done a few small alterations in the on button sewn back on for me. And expensive for quality service. And speaking of buttons: I have never ever had a single button cracked broken or harmed by this establishment! Can you honestly say that about any other dry cleaners in the world? I've never experienced that before. It just seem to be an annoying part of the industry. The staff is always courteous, prompt, efficient and never makes an error in calculations or billing. They have bent over backwards to please me with huge volume loads of work when I had a minor flooding catastrophe in my home. They fixed everything and I was so grateful for their service. When you go and tell them that Terry Stump referred you and it is a pleasure to do so. I expect nothing additional back in return just very privileged to be able to help expand their business. Note: other dry cleaning establishments - please try this company and see what you're supposed to be like. Coupon cutters and counters, don't bother: this place is cheaper though I believe they will match offers. But ask management. They're in a great location on third Street between the Grove in Beverly Center. And their little shopping center always seems to have plenty of parking available to come in and pick up the drop off. Paramount was by far the most affordable and most conveniently located in proximity to my home. I snagged one of the few parking spots in front of their shop, dropped off my items with a friendly gentleman and collected everything a few days later when they called. This place is fantastic. The best customer service I've ever experienced at a cleaning service. I recently picked up a pair of slacks that I had cleaned and they gave me back the $12 that I didn't even know I had left in my pocket. The quality of their cleaning is excellent and it's "eco-friendly". They've got stains out of my clothing that I thought would be impossible to remove. I've had a couple of articles of clothing altered here too. The work was amazing and it was very reasonable (like $20 to alter a jacket). My clothing fits like it was tailor made! I went to there to get my jacket dry cleaned. I saw many good reviews on yelp but my experience was okay , not that good like the others. After picking my jacket I noticed that there is a damage on a zipper and a little scratch on the back.. I swear that jacket was fine before getting dry clean. I came here initially because of a Yelp deal (bring it back!) and I've been coming back ever since. What's outstanding is the quality tailoring and alterations - I get my suits made to measure and am very, very particular about how my clothes fit. Tony (the co-owner/manager) is patient, receptive, and has a great eye for detail. If measuring a complex tapering job takes an hour (true story), Tony is fully on board. Oh, and your opinion counts! So far, I have only brought in my most basic sweaters, but with a few more positive experiences at Paramount, I'll start bringing them the special stuff. I went here with Tess S. after researching the best place to take our dry cleaning in a new neighborhood. I'll make note that I didn't have any problems with my specific items, however i was absolutely APPALLED by the way Tony, the owner, handled his customer. We picked up our clothes and got home within 5 minutes. Tess realized that 2 very expensive pairs of slacks weren't with her things so she did the natural thing and called Tony who expressed concern and said he'd look around. Tess and I looked in the car, thru my stuff, every possible place she could have accidentally misplaced them, but to no avail. Tony couldn't find them either. But instead of apologizing for his lack of organization, he proceeded to suggest that Tess that was scamming him and just looking for a payout. After two weeks of back and forth between Tess and Tony, an honest customer alerted him that she had been sent home with the wrong items: Tess' pants. Fancy that: Tony, the owner of what I thought was a reputable local business immediately places the blame on his customer for a mistake that turns out to be entirely his fault. That is BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. Look, we're young and I'm sure this dude has been scammed before but that does not justify him stereotyping his customer for an error that was HIS! I use Yelp to find local, trustworthy small businesses that I can support in lieu of major corporations. Although Paramount is local and small, it is far from trustworthy. I don't just want to my clothes cleaned, I want to know that when i leave my personal property in your possession, you aren't going to destroy it or lose it. What if this had been a situation where we left a car with a valet and came back and it was gone because the owner had given the car to the wrong person? This is essentially the same situation on a smaller but similarly compelling scale. Tony, don't expect to see us or anyone we know coming into your business again. And consider getting yourself better acquainted with people skills and proper manners. Your mistake did not lie in misplacing the pants; accidents happen. You went wrong when you first placed the blame on another instead of taking responsibility for your own actions and then refusing to apologize when you were presented with your clear error.
