I'm quite disappointed. I had brand new JW Anderson sweatpants that were cleaned twice at Perfect Cleaners. The first time they were cleaned and no issues. The second time, they completely ruined the inside lining. They said their cleaner followed the instructions but that doesn't make sense. If the instructions were followed, then the pants would've not been destroyed. I normally wouldn't write a review but can't help but notice a trend. The first thing they ruined were the buttons to my new Loewe button up shirt. The second thing they ruined was my mattress cover that they did cover the cost of for a new one. But after they ruined my designer sweatpants, I can't keep bringing my nice things to be continuously destroyed. read more

BEWARE MYSTERY CHARGES: I dropped off 2 shirts to launder for $5 each. When I picked it up. It was $23. I asked how? She said one was dry clean for $13 the other was $5 for launder and an extra $5 for a balance. I asked what balance, since I always pay when I pick up? She said "it happens" because sometimes it doesn't go through. She said it was for 2 shirts. I asked shouldn't 2 shirts be $10? So where is this $5 mystery balance coming from? Perfect Cleaners lost a brand new dress I wore one time. I say lost, but I believe it was stolen because if it was inadvertently given to another customer, wouldn't they return it? I know I would if I got someone else's clothing by mistake. So to me, it isn't worth risking my clothes being stolen or lost to ever return. My trust is gone. They paid me for my dress, but it still didn't diminish the sting. The dress was sold out from coast to coast, I even contacted corporate to buy a replacement with no luck. The dress was gone. This came after a previous experience where my orders were not ready when promised. So coming back two or three times on top of them "loosing" my dress, I've had enough. read more

The Absolute Worst Experience - Avoid at All Costs Perfect Cleaners is anything but "perfect." I entrusted them with a brand new designer shirt, only to have it returned to me damaged beyond repair. What followed was an infuriating waste of my time, energy, and patience. Despite my repeated efforts to resolve the matter--including sending proof of purchase--the best they could muster was an insulting offer to cover only 50% of the cost. To make matters worse, I was dealing directly with one of the owners, Evan, whose behavior was shockingly unprofessional. His dismissive attitude, lack of accountability, and overall carelessness perfectly reflected the culture of this establishment. Instead of addressing the situation responsibly, he was rude, combative, and made it abundantly clear that customer satisfaction means absolutely nothing to him or to this business. It's bad enough that a dry cleaner damages your property--but when they add insult to injury by refusing to take proper responsibility, it speaks volumes. Their staff, much like their management, are unprofessional, careless, and astonishingly indifferent to the fact that they are in a service industry. If you value your clothing, your time, or your sanity, I strongly urge you to stay far away from Perfect Cleaners. There are countless other dry cleaners who actually respect their customers and their belongings. Perfect Cleaners has proven themselves to be untrustworthy, irresponsible, and unworthy of anyone's business. I had 5 pair of Levi's dry cleaned and 5 shirts (no dry clean), press only and the bill was $122, I only went there because it was convenient across the street from my job. Untrustworthy! Overcharging! I had gone there for a long time and had stopped looking at the receipts because I foolishly trusted them. Genuine customer service, precise, accommodating and immaculate quality in all their services. You'll definitely see this place is worth every cent you spend there. Not many places/companies can provide the "Disney experience" 24/7, hands down this place is definitely on that list. The seamstress, Rosa "my auntie she just doesn't know" alters all my garment requests. And when I pick them up it looks like I brought something new every time. The worst! The building I live in provides dry cleaning services through Perfect Cleaners. I sent through maybe 5-6 pieces, including a jacket by Off White. The jacket, which was $1200, came back ruined. The screen printing on the back was trashed. The owner called and asked for the jacket back to take a look at the damage. He asked if he could try fixing it, I agreed. Dave (the owner) assured me he'd call back early the following week with an update on if his screen printer would be able to fix my jacket. Cut to over a week later, still no word. I call. The owner isn't there. He'll call me back. Nothing. Mistakes happen but here's what pisses me off: - returning a damaged item back to a client, acting like nothing happened - offering no refund for the actual cleaning - the fact that I'm out of money and out of a jacket because they are holding it hostage - the lack of communication - he accused me (found this out through the building) that the jacket was already so old it was bound to happen NOPE! I work in fashion and have treated that jacket right. Plus, a jacket of that quality doesn't fall apart during a professional cleaning. This isn't H&M. One other time I've had an item damaged at a dry cleaner - an Oscar de la Renta pleated blouse. That dry cleaner gave me my item and reimbursed me for the entire value of the blouse with zero drama. That is how you handle your business. Needless to say I'll never use Perfect Cleaners again. Wouldn't be surprised if my building bails on them as well. read more

I have been a long time customer of Perfect Cleaners in both locations (the one on Pico and the one on West 3rd). I've been a happy customer, but recently they seem to be having staffing shortages at their West 3rd location. A couple of times, there's only been one attendant for the front desk, and I've had to wait 15-20 minutes to pick up my order. I've also had to return twice to pick up orders that were delayed/incomplete.  I know things are hard these days when it comes to staffing, but dependability and quickness are amongst the reasons why I've been a loyal customer. I take care of my clothes and don't mind paying the price for good service. Hoping that staffing can be prioritized, so that customers are not inconvenienced. read more

Dropped off two items here on a Saturday afternoon and was told that they would be delivered for free by Thursday, as advertised. The driver called me on Thursday and said he would only wait 5 minutes for a pickup, which I didn't need to do...and he never showed up to my place with the clothes. It was only the next day that I called and they offered to deliver them on Monday a full 4 days after they were supposed to be delivered. They offered no apology and a paltry discount on an already overpriced service. They also told me that one of my items was " unable to be cleaned " because it has black and white stripes...which is just simply ridiculous. About as far from "Perfect" as you can get. read more

This place might be expensive, but it is worth paying for if you want your expensive clothes to last longer. The guys use gentle light chemicals for the fabric, but there hasn't been a stain yet that they haven't been able to remove. The staff is always friendly, making you feel welcome anytime you enter that door. They also send courtesy text messages when your items are ready. Highly recommended! read more

These people are thiefs. Do not go here. Especially if you have expensive / designer items and you need a place you can trust. I brought my very nice designer items here for 1-2 years because my friend told me they were good and trustworthy, after the last dry cleaner ruined a very expensive shirt. They had no issues for 1 year delivering to my previous apartment because I lived in a fully-serviced building with a valet. When I moved to a 4-unit building where I had a separate intercom for my apartment, but did not have a valet, I specifically told them I was moving and gave them the new address and instructions to come (i.e. how to buzz my intercom - which goes to both my apartment and to my phone). They successfully drop off dry cleaning once to this new address. The second time, I drop the items and as I am dropping off 2 $1,000 dresses and 1 $800-900 dress, and then 1 that was $300, I ask them *specifically* what address they have for delivery and confirm it is going to the new address. They confirm the address. But time passes and I don't hear from them and my items are never delivered. For the first 2.5-3 weeks, I don't hear anything from them. I call them, and they tell me no problem, it will go out the following Tuesday. On "the following Tuesday" I don't get anything, so I call Wednesday. They apologize and tell me they tried to deliver it to the old address (!! -- my super expensive items, when I confirmed the delivery with them when I dropped it off to avoid this ....), and they delete my old address from the system and tell me the next day on Thursday it would go out to me. I have a door panel on my unit where someone can buzz up. The guy texts me, but does not try to *buzz up* to me using my name on the screen. I get the buzz from the panel all throughout my apartment and was home all day, and I get it on my phone. I don't get text notifications. And he didn't call me. So now it's Thursday, 3 weeks later, and I don't get my items. I call again Friday, and they tell me that they are in the backroom because they couldn't deliver them. I call again on Monday to give feedback to Esmerelda, the manager, as it has now been almost 4 weeks (since July 7th) that my items have been at their location, with many mistakes on their end (delivery to the wrong address, not following delivery instructions the second time) and when I am giving her feedback, she passes the phone to the delivery driver so I can talk to him. This escalates the situation and he hangs up on me after interrupting me multiple times. If his job is on the line, and I am telling you he did not do it properly, why would he agree with me and why would you waste my time debating what I am saying with him? Way to escalate the situation, because now it's me fighting with your delivery driver, and for what?? It was beyond unprofessional for a manager to handle the situation that way, on top of the situation itself being beyond unprofessional. Just apologize, have it delivered, and take the feedback that I am using my time -- my Monday morning -- to give to you, to improve your services. You probably would have kept a client. I finally came and picked the clothing up myself immediately, as soon as the delivery driver hung up on me, because they have $3,000+ of items, and I don't trust them to keep them a second longer. I cancelled a meeting to come immediately. Do not give your items here. This is pandemic-level unprofessionalism, with no excuse for it because we are out of the pandemic and they have a ton of people who work there. If you have very nice items, find somewhere else, for your own peace of mind. Then they charged me $38 per dress when it should be $22 per dress (after the fact). Update, they continued to run my card for additional transactions AFTER they charged me for this order, when I didn't take anything new into them. read more

I needed my pants and shirt. I came in they said their equipment was broken. No pants. I drove all the way over in traffic. It's ok for them to call me to charge more to fix a pillow case but they could care less about letting me know there is a problem and waste my time. WARNING - do not bring your business here if you value your clothes! Patrons managed to lose my business clothing (nearly everything as I brought it all in one batch). Business refused to reimburse insisting that the clothes were simply "in transit". Three weeks later I finally received my clothes back but was still forced to pay the entire amount because the receipt " does not say which Tuesday it would be done" (I cannot make this stuff up). I recommend to Perfect Cleaners to re-evaluate their customer service / contingency protocols as they have lost a customer in me because of it. read more

Bad customer service. Not clear with dates, BEWARE if you want something promptly. I dropped my pants yesterday for cleaning (went to a restaurant the night before and there was wax all over the seat.) When I dropped of the pants yesterday I specifically told the store attendant that I needed the pants back by tomorrow and price was not a concern as the restaurant, who neglected to clean the wax off the seat, is going to pay for the dry clean. The attendant at Perfect Cleaners told me not a problem and they can have it for me by tomorrow at 6. Today, the day Perfect Cleaners agreed to have the pant ready, I called the dry cleaners. I talked to a woman, I believe, by the name of Amanda. Wow. RUDE. She first told me the pants are not ready and that it is impossible for them to do work that quick. Then came all the excuses in the book. She would not hear me out when I told her, calmly, that yesterday I was promised my pants back today. She insisted I was wrong and must have been imagining things, RUDE. Am I right? I was told that this place was decent but now I'm very convinced that this place is nothing but a nightmare. If they couldn'thave my pants ready in a day, not a problem! Just let the customer know before hand. Don't act all appalled when a customer, who was promised their clothing at a certain time, calls looking for their dry cleaning and is upset when it isn't ready. This place is way, way, way overpriced. Not only that, but the prices change from one visit to the next. When I ask them to tell me how much something will be, they say they're "too busy" or hand me an outdated price list, saying that the prices on it are not correct. Last time I went, I was told ahead of time that my total was going to be $39. When I showed up to pick up my clothes, I was told it was $50. When I questioned why, they did not offer any explanation or apology, just said $40. Now, to top it all off, I have been informed by my credit union that my debit card was hacked and $1800 was stolen from my account. This is the third time in the last year that I have been victim of this fraud. The representative at my credit union did an investigation to see what places I'd been to before each instance of fraud. There were only two businesses I had patronized before each theft and Perfect Cleaners was one of them. Went there today to pick up my last item of clothing, a blazer. Hmmm, after seeing how they treated previous group-on users, I decided not to mention that I had a group-on until I finally took out my money to pay. First of all, doing Groupon is a way to increase business, and it makes sense to be on "your best behavior" when you have a coupon out... BUT, although the woman who took my clothes in wasn't rude, she didn't go out of her way to be friendly or helpful in any way. I had 8 pieces of dry cleaning, and 1 small repair. When I went to pick up the following week, a guy helped me, he found 5 pieces of my order, including the repair (which was done perfectly!)... it took him another 10 minutes to find 2 other pieces. BUT, after 20 minutes, I was still missing 2 pieces. There was another woman at the counter picking up her dry cleaning, and she mentioned that she was supposed to pick up a few days earlier, but when she came in, only 1/2 her order was ready, so was now back to pick up her whole order. The man helping me told me he'd call me when he found the rest of my order. I did receive a phone call at 6pm saying they had found the rest of my order. No one complained when I pulled out my groupon, and the cleaning was excellent! But the service?? YUCK! too bad... that groupon could have gotten Perfect a new customer, but I left with such a bland feeling, I won't be back. read more

Spend your money elsewhere with a place that does the same job but actually appreciates your business! We have been using this cleaners for about 4 years because they were the first place we tried, but they definitely lost my business after my last visit. Antonio was unbelievably rude and wouldn't help me at all. It was a holiday weekend and I had dog urine on expensive clothing, so I needed some help, and I got absolutely nothing but a bad attitude. He couldn't have cared less that I was leaving as an unhappy customer, and was actually assertively rude to me! So I drove 1/2 a block and found a cleaners that was happy to help! Not only that, while paying for my latest drop-off, Antonio wouldn't honor the prices I had been paying for years, even after I said he should check the past payment history! He just felt like being unaccommodating. At least he was successful in losing my business! They are an expensive cleaners in general but with bad service and 5 other cleaners in the area I have no problem taking my business elsewhere. read more

Best cleaners in town - friendly people and beautiful work including tough stain removal!

I hate to admit how long I searched for a *good* dry cleaner between work and home, but I've finally found a place that's worth my hard earned cash! Pricey yes, but $10 to clean my stained silk dress as opposed to other cleaners' $16(!) was a steal mostly because it came out GREAT. I stained a gorgeous Gypsy05 dress the day I bought it (tear), but Perfect Cleaners took extra care and it came out great, even going as far as calling me shortly after dropping it off to let me know if may take two washes. The staff is super friendly and attentive (see above phone call) AND they have parking in the notoriously s*@($y Beverly Center/Cedars Sinai black hole. read more
