Orange Chicken, Noodles, Fried Rice, Green Beans

Food was fine, would say it's way worse than Panda Express. Service was fine & lacks ambiance because of airport! Not much you can do, so it works!

3 entrees: bourbon chicken, firecracker chicken, honey shrimp

FOOD: comes with white rice. If you want fried rice, veggies, or chow mein, it's an upgrade. 2 entree was more than enough. 3 entree was way too much food. I wanted to get cream cheese wontons as one of my entrees but they said only an egg roll or vegetables was acceptable. - Orange Chicken: crunchy. 3.5/5 - Beef & Broccoli: carrots & broccoli. The beef was very tender. 3.5/5 - Firecracker Chicken: hardly spicy. 3.5/5 - Bourbon Chicken: sweet and salty. 3.5/5 - Honey Shrimp: more batter than shrimp. 2.75/5 SERVICE: Fast and friendly enough. 3.5/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: I may come back. The food was okay.

2 entrees with white rice - honey shrimp

Got 2 entree meal with white rice, green beans and honey shrimp (upcharge). It looked good and I had high hopes. The green beans were firm, not soggy but didn't have much seasoning or salt. The honey shrimp was the biggest fail. Overly breaded and very little flavor. I ended up removing the breading and eating the tiny shrimp with my rice. Total was about $18. Friendly, fast service though.

I'm not going to completely dog this place because I've been a fan of "Pick Up Stix" when they had locations in Northern California. However, they've been long gone in my neck of the woods since the late-2000's. And since I was in the midst of a 2+ hour layover from Miami to Sacramento, this particular place fit the bill for me. Located inside of the Hobby Airport in Houston TX, this place accommodates passengers of connecting Southwest Airlines flights. Since I was craving something other than burgers, tacos, or sandwiches, fast casual Chinese helped me get through the rest of the afternoon and evening. This place is more or less in the middle of a food court with other eateries ("Hubcap Grill", "Wendy's", etc.) and is a walk-up and order type place. I decided to go with their 2-entree plate with steamed white rice. I chose their house chicken special and beef & broccoli. I also decided on a small fountain drink. Total price of this (as of 2024) came out to around $20 USD. Not bad considering many dining options at various airports are quite pricey. The set up here is similar to Panda Express as they fill your plate up (in this case it was a styrofoam container). I also opted for hot mustard, soy sauce, and chopsticks (yes I enjoy eating this with chopsticks even though it's considered "fast food"). Service was quick but I could tell that none of the employees looked like they wanted to be there. At least the food was hot and at least tasted fresh. The chicken was cooked and glazed with overly salty teriyaki sauce. It wasn't bad but wasn't the best as I've eaten at several of their brick-and-mortar locations in Southern California. All in all, the portions were quite generous as this helped me curb my appetite for the 3.5 hour flight from Texas to California. Best of all, I didn't get sick after eating this which is a win-win for me. With that said and done, I am giving the Hobby Airport "Pick Up Stix" just an average three star rating. Not bad but not good either. At least I got sodium/salt intake to last a few days.

    2 chicken eggrolls for $4.49 10-18-23

All of the food behind the glass partition looked good, but I wanted just a quick bite for a little money. The chicken egg rolls fit the bill. They were hot & delicious for $4.86 with tax. Sheryl put them in a to go bag, with duck sauce and a fortune cookie. Checkout was fast & efficient. And both ladies were sweet. They even provided a large cup of iced water for me - no charge! The food court area had lots of tables with a view of the airfield. The announcements for flights were loud, so folks compensated by being louder. Not the most elegant place to dine, but adequate. I'd definitely eat here again - and get more!

The only Asian food place in the nearby area where our gates are. It satisfies our hunger. Both the bourbon chicken & honey chicken are good. Bourbon chicken cuts are kinda fatty. The noodle has good flavor but it's kinda soupy. Service is standard. The line is moving

Looks better than it is !!! Wasted $19 !!!

First Timer .. I love Panda Express and this looks similar .. The food looked soooo good and I was hungry .. They offer two or three entree's though I really wanted one .. I got the Grilled Bourbon Chicken and the Generals Orange Chicken with fried rice .. The fried rice was extremely dry and the entree's were nasty at best .. Very disappointing and I took a few bites of each and then chunked it in the trash .. Wasted $19 !!! Then I went and got a bag of White Cheddar Cheese Nips and had that for lunch .. Two stars for the friendly server and cashier.

Food was pretty good!! Chicken was flavorful and they gave me good portions of everything. The ambience was as good as it could be for an airport restaurant, and there's no complaints. Service was quick and we were in and out of there in about 20 mins total, considering there was a line.

Fried rice & orange chicken :)

Like, so good for airport food might even be better than Panda Express, and that's saying something. I love Chinese and I think this is great. Everyone was there and the servers were awesome. I also like the decor. I love this place.

Orange chicken, bourbon chicken and fried rice. Supposed to be.

Watery mushy noodles. No house special chicken!? They didn't even know what that was? More like Panda Express menu than Pick Up Stix

Food tastes horrible. Service was unimpressive. The ambiance was uncertain as the line was full of confused customers. Would not recommend.

I ordered the Nobi dog, Nobi egg sandwich, and the bittersweet sundae. I was initially hesitant to order the Nobi dog, but my doubts were immediately quelled with the first bite. The Nobi dog was a standout item with the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The savory Kosher beef frank is complimented by the sweet and salty chargrilled pork, pickled carrots and daikon, and spicy sriracha mayo and jalapenos. The crunchy pickled vegetables and creamy mayo stand out against the tender pork and beef frank. I would definitely reorder the Nobi dog at a future visit. Unfortunately, the Nobi egg sandwich was only mediocre and left and impression no more than the simply the sum of its parts. The chargrilled pork was flavorful and egg had a pleasant fluffy texture, but the sandwich as a whole tasted rather boring and uninteresting, especially compared to the Nobi dog. The bittersweet sundae was a stout brownie with vanilla gelato, covered in whipped cream and was the lowest point of this meal, and I would recommend against ordering it. In my opinion, there was entirely too much whipped cream, which was foamy and runny and had a metallic off-note, perhaps from the can it likely came from. After digging through the mountain of whipped cream, I was further disappointed by the texture of the brownie, which had an unpleasant eggy taste and texture. The vanilla gelato was only okay, and did little to salvage this disappointing dessert. Despite its shortcomings, Nobi's service was excellent and attentive. Even on a crowded Tuesday dinner, our waiter frequently checked in on our party. The restaurant is fairly spacious and can accommodate large (8+ people) parties, however it may be a challenge if you plan to visit on a Tuesday night. Overall I would return to Nobi's, specifically for the Nobi dog or the amazing $10 pork chop deal and to explore their wide selection of beers. Aside from that, I would be willing to try other items, but I definitely would not reorder the Nobi egg sandwich nor the bittersweet sundae.

It's far west Pearland so a little bit of a drive from where I live in Pearland. It is located in a shopping strip and parking was not an issue. I don't think reservations are required, but my brother called ahead just in case and our table was awaiting when we arrived. I had mixed feelings about the customer service. It started off strong but as time went on our waiter was less and less available. Luckily, the great food made up for mid service. This was our first time here and we weren't sure what the portion sizes were like. Their menu is like other Thai restaurants and categorized by appetizers, soups, salads, fried rice, noodles, curries and some other specials. We made sure we didn't double up on anything and got a spread that gave us a little bit of everything. When the food came out, we realized we could've maybe got a few less dishes and still been satisfied as the portions here were huge. The food did come out a little staggered, but were hot and fresh. Me personally, I went with the Pad C-Ewe. This or drunken noodles are my go to at most Thai places. They did an excellent job here. The flat flat noodles were cooked to perfection along with the Chinese broccoli. I used for a level four out of five on spice level and they delivered on that. I want to sweat when eating Thai food. I barely put a dent in my dish and this was with doing family style with all our plates. Everything I tried from fried rice to two different curries all hit the spot. I had to practice restraint and not order the mango sticky rice because I physically had no room to put it down. Overall, Thaicoon is another solid Thai restaurant in the Pearland area. I will most definitely be back.

The service was stellar. I ordered a dish from the from the lunch menu and for most dishes, you get a choice of protein -- pork, chicken, tofu, veggie (all $13), filet mignon or shrimp (both $14). I got the Pad Prik King" with filet mignon - a stir fried dish with bell peppers and green beans in a chili paste. My husband ordered "Cashew" with chicken - it included cashews, carrots, bell pepper, onion and dried peppers. Both entrees came with a veggie egg roll. (pics attached). I wasn't a fan of my dish but my husband liked his. I did really like the egg roll. I think I'll give this place another chance but will get something different. Also, I'll get chicken next time. The filet lacked flavor.
