    Sweet & Sour Chicken

It is so convenient for a college student since this place is right on campus. The menu has a ton to choose from and so far everything I've tried has been excellent! The same guy at the cashier always delivers quick and effective service. The food also comes out fast and steaming. There are no tables inside, just chairs for you to wait on. I usually get the grab-and-go plates because it has everything I want and it's very filling! I've also tried the baos which are always savory. I will be coming more often throughout my college career.

Came here with my husband to get some dinner before a Rockets game. The food was alright but in my opinion a little overpriced and we waited a long time for our food to come out. There isn't seating in the restaurant so you have to take your food to-go. I got the egg drop and the chicken lo mein. The egg drop soup was pretty good but the lo mein had a lot of oil. My husband got the orange chicken and said it was okay but the sauce was artificial tasting.

Convenient spot for Chinese food on campus. Nothing spectacular but good, fresh, and consistent. I recommend getting a grab n go plate which is the entree with steamed rice and an egg roll for around $10 with tax.

Good for a place on campus and not crazy expensive. If you're craving greasy asian food this is the place for you. The worker is very nice and super helpful. The sticky rice shumai has a LOT of rice and can definitely be a meal on its own. Everything comes out hot and fresh.

Had to wait forever for my food. They said 20 minutes. It was 40 minutes. Order ahead of time. The Bao was huge but on the dry side.

BEST DUMPLINGS IN HOUSTON! I've tried dumplings from different places but none compare to these. They're always freshly made, really big and a good portion for the price. The place is small but the service is great. It's right by U of H which was really convenient when I was in school. I keep coming back because they're actually amazing! Everyone that I've gone with has loved them as well. If you're thinking about going just do it, you won't regret it :)

Amazing food. Dumplings were awesome. Also had a spicy chicken dish that was great. Hard to find but worth it.

Great place to eat at University of Houston. Low key with outdoor picnic tables. Hardworking chef and staff. Hot food with good flavor.

Wouldn't let me change my order when the order had just got sent in and not paid for, I should've walked out then. All I wanted to do was take an eggroll and biscuit off but u can tell she was money hungry. She was very rude and just was rushing for the money. That instantly made my husband mad. Anyways not only was the lady, I think her name was Mama D rude she put the order in wrong. I was there at 3:50 ish so I was just in time for happy hour at 4, so I waited to order my drink. She didn't want me to order it to go for whatever problematic reason so I told her I didn't want it bc I knew I couldn't finish the margarita that quick. She told me my food was gone take wayyy longer so I said ok I'll have a drink while I wait. The food came out and I was like I knew that was gone happen. Didn't even take one sip. She had an attitude bc not she had to give me the to go cup. Mind u the cups aren't the same she filled it up half way and said it's on special like I shouldn't be questioning why it was half full. Still left her a tip bc I support Black Businesses. Order was still wrong. . Just rude for no reason. The shrimp were good. I ordered hot lemon pepper it was mediocre. She was also rude to the ppl that walked in telling them where to sit. Business minded ppl would've had it blocked off or something. Would not go back bc HOUSTON has good food all around and customer service is mandatory! Be humble!

I have to admit I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of wing flavors they offer here. There are…read morea lot of options on the menu and it honestly took me a minute to decide. I'm a pretty big wing fan, so I was excited to try this place out. They have a list of their top flavors posted right in front of where you order, which made it a little easier to narrow things down. I ended up picking two from that list. I went with the garlic parmesan wings and the lemon pepper buffalo since those seemed to be two of the more favored options. I was slightly disappointed because with the amount of flavors they have, the sauces and rubs were good, but the wings themselves were not cooked crispy. They were a little on the softer side and slightly undercooked for my taste, which is why I ended up deducting a star. If the wings had been fried a bit longer and had that crispy bite, this probably would have easily been a five-star experience for me. I ordered inside and the customer service was really good. The staff was friendly and my food came out pretty quickly, which I appreciated. Flavor-wise everything was solid, so the potential is definitely there. I also snapped a picture of the menu because they run different specials throughout the week. Unfortunately I came on the weekend, so I wasn't able to take advantage of any of the weekday deals. The wings are a little pricey, but honestly that seems to be the going rate for wings these days. If I come back, I would probably just ask for the wings and fries to be cooked a little longer so they come out crispier. I'd also be curious to try more of the flavors since they have so many. I may stop by on their $0.87 wing day just to sample a few more and give them another shot. Overall, not bad

First, I noticed that the staff handling food behind the counter were not wearing gloves. Hygiene is important, especially when preparing and serving food, and it was concerning that no one appeared to be following proper food safety practices. At that time, the rotisserie was already being cleaned, which told me they had stopped preparing fresh chicken for the day. Instead, they were serving pre-cooked chicken kept in a warmer. As expected, this made the chicken dry and hard on the outside. I ordered the 1/2 dark meat chicken with yellow rice and Tequeños. However, I was given two small leg quarters and an extra piece of white meat--which I didn't ask for--all of which were extremely dry. The portion size has noticeably decreased as well. I was also very concerned to see them using spray cleaner near the food, which poses a risk of chemical contamination. On top of that, the Tequeños were extremely dark and tasted like they had been refried, nearly burnt. Adding to the poor experience, one of the girls behind the counter was playing around and massaging her coworkers while customers were being served. That level of unprofessional behavior is not something anyone wants to see while waiting for their food. I've always liked this place for its fresh rotisserie chicken, but it feels like DoDo's has started cutting corners on both food quality and cleanliness. Paying $19.52 for this meal just didn't feel worth it.

Despite having my contact information, they provided no courtesy call or cancellation notice. To make matters worse, the employee was incredibly rude and disrespectful, telling me it "wasn't his problem" and that I had to come back the next day for a refund.
