Tyler provided me with incredible customer service, polite, knowledgeable and an excellent attitude. ANY employer would be luck to have such a customer focused employee as Tyler. Just drove over an hour to get here and they tell me they are closed at 530 when all the times online say 6 than they tell me they close the yard at 530 but wouldn't let me in even asked if they walked out there with me they wouldn't even come to the door. Worst service ever. We needed to junk our vehicle, so we called these guys to set up an appt. on a Tuesday to which we were told that we'd have to choose a 4 hour window where the tow truck driver would call and meet us at the location our vehicle was sitting. We rearranged our schedule for a call that never came. When we called, they had us scheduled for THURSDAY, which we never agreed to, nor could we do, so we rescheduled for the weekend, and the confusion and mistakes just went on and on. Each person we talked to along the way told us something different about both the pick-up of the vehicle and anything in reference to the title. There was ONE NAME on the title, but the title had been sent to a C/O address (mine, but I'm not listed as an owner), so we were told that my signature was not required. Cool. Then, when we dropped off the vehicle, and it was again confirmed that my signature was not needed, but they collected the signature from my daughter (who the vehicle was titled to). Days later, they call to let us know that they can't do anything with the car because I didn't sign off on the title -- WHAT?! So I had to drive back down there to argue about WHY they would require a signature from someone who does not have any connection to the car whatsoever, and ended up signing anyway. No, it gets better. Finally, all the paperwork is done and they say we'll receive the check in 5-10 days. That, of course, did not happen, and after three weeks with no check, I called them. I was told that they have no idea why it hadn't gone out, but they'll try and get it out that day. Great. Apparently, it didn't go out for several days after that, and we got it almost two weeks after that initial call. So, it definitely took over a month to get the money from them. And, as a side note, nobody we talked to over the phone or in their store ever smiled at us, or was even remotely pleasant. If there is, literally, anywhere else you can go to have your needs met, go there, not here. And, if you do go here, don't say I didn't warn you. If I could give them less than one star, I would. The right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. It didn't matter who we talked to. read more

It's a recycling center. What to expect? *shrug* Front desk is rude. I would never call to ask about parts, as others have claimed. That kind of service is not to be expected. It's two dollars for admission. Pay it, and search. Good parts from cars are grabbed early. Beware that some take a hack saw to parts and scatter them across the yard. Wheelbarrows are hard to push, but useful. I hardly see anyone using them, surprisingly. I find decent parts here, but prefer other locations to this one. It's sub par with limited amount of goodies, at least for me. After reading some reviews, I can't believe some people don't watch their tools. I take a backpack filled with tools with me. Your tools, your responsibility. If your not using them, don't bring them. Again, it's a self service recycling center. Make the most if it. I enjoy recycling centers, and the service they have to offer. Two stars is due to how much better other locations operate. I would return to this location for parts though. read more

Was easy to schedule vehicle pickup and the tow truck came during the allotted window. I sold them my 2005 Toyota Prius that had the catalytic converter stolen from it. I received less than $200, a price I agreed upon prior to pickup because I just needed to get rid of it. Even the tow truck driver thought this was a low price. Even still, the process was quick and easy and I'd recommend Pick-n-Pull if you are just looking to get rid of a vehicle quickly. read more

Went with them to buy a car with a blown piston. While nobody in our area was offering much money, this location offered the most. During scheduling they mentioned that everyone on the title had to be there in-person to sign-off. No option to sign ahead or electronically, etc. And, it was a four hour scheduling window. The driver arrived right at the end of the fourth hour, had us sign all of the paperwork and the process was relatively simple. Except, after the fact, we realized he didn't give us any paperwork, other than the check. I called their office to ask for a copy of the bill of sale and was told that I could go in-person to any Pick-N-Pull for a copy. When I said that was inconvenient and couldn't they mail, email or fax a copy, they were absolutely unwilling. I asked to speak with a supervisor. Got bounced around to another person and then to a line that just rang without answer. I finally gave-up. If you sell to them, don't let the driver go without giving you some sort of proof of sale. It wasn't a bad experience, but with all things today, customer service could have been better. read more

Loaner wheel barrow/cart and you are able to get all the parts off the vehicles you desire and willing to pay for. Coming back for more parts, tried to buy Tercel bumper cover retainer 5202916052 (TO1008101) but "the boss" came in and wanted to charge me double, claiming it is a "radiator core support". I pointed out where the part goes but as usual he turned his back and ignored me. Checkout cashier Jose (I think that's his name) is good, he is a Toyota specialist, he knew exactly where the part goes (he knows all Toyota parts by memory), but this "boss" tried to convince him that I'm lying and that part is not a bumper lip retainer but part of "radiator core suport". This guy doesn't know very much about automotive engineering and his only intent is profiteering. Total unconscionable jerk! I don't like writing reviews because it always takes too much time but I find it necessary when I don't recommend a yard anymore. I called the customer service line to schedule my pickup, the customer service agent wasn't very clear so I called the store. To my surprise the store representative immediately confirmed the answers to my questions by handing my call over to the manager who was very accommodating and professional. We set my pickup window to 9am-noon and the pickup specialists arrived very promptly at 830, calling me beforehand to make sure I was ready. They made the entire process hassle free, and traded the check for my vehicle title upon arrival. 10/10 will most definitely use their services again. read more

If I could do zero I would! these people have ZERO compassion and only a desire for money. I own a 1996 Lexus and I looked everywhere for certain parts from a boneyard and they had one perfect car a 1994 Lexus es300 I went into the pick n pull in Vancouver and they sent me to row 16 I look the car is not there a yard employee stated it was being crushed I saw it in the top corner of the crush pile and asked to get the window regulator and back seats and cv axle out of the car that I need these parts my situation they say no they won't pull it off they won't let me get it or any part! I was gonna spend like $350 in parts there today and they paid $275 I looked it up and they don't lose any value from them crushing it instead of gaining a loyal returning customer they send me on my way don't do a thing to try and help just whatever a guy in the back office was just like oh well not my problem is his exact words! Customer service compassion and values have no meaning at this hole of an establishment! I would suggest ordering online or going anywhere else but here to this place and this is the second time I came in they crushed the car! How they have any customers is simply because of no other choices in the area I pray one day they need something that's important and is very easy to do and they are sent packing just like me I pray for karma! my review is NEVER GO HERE!!! read more

Stood at the counter for ten minutes while six customers were checked in by two employees. one of the employees walked past me on the other side of the counter five times and went to a computer screen while the other was checking in a customer. She ignored me. I paid $33 dollars for a used part that I can get new for $18 if I could have waited for an extra day. Needed a functioning taillight before I left town on a trip. I have a Saab 9-5 and the pick n pull has a couple of 9-3s on their lot. I walked in my my broken 9-5 part with me to compare it to see if the 9-3 would fit. The lady at the front saw the part as I walked in On the way out, they didn't believe me that the part was mine and the lady was on s break and they didn't want to either call her or disturb her. I was given the choice to either pay for my part or leave it. It was clearly broken so I left it, but man, no use of logic would prevail with these people, from noting it was from a different model, to confirming my story or simple human understanding. read more

Needed a new tension pulley and pulley screw for a 99 v8 explorer. Would of cost me $100 at the Ford dealership and $50 at Napa. I spent $8 here plus the $2 entrance fee. This place is legit, just do your research before you drive all the way for a part and if you can't find the part there, look harder. read more

As a woman it's always hard to trust any car part related business. They always assume I don't know what I'm looking for or I feel like they try to sell me on things I don't need. That was never the case here. The staff is super helpful and really informative. The manager (I think his name is bryan?) Was especially helpful and explained the return policy for me if for any reason the part didn't fit. Definitely recommend this yard, and it's also not too busy. read more

I called to sell them my old vehicle and they scheduled a tow truck to pick it up on the next available day, which was almost three weeks away (Saturday, June 24th between 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM). On the 24th, I decided to call at 10:30 AM and check the arrival time of the driver because it was 100 degrees that day and we had planned to leave as soon as possible (we don't have A/C so we were literally only there waiting for this tow truck). I was told that the driver would contact me 15 minutes prior to arrival, which could be as late as 12:00 PM. Well 11:45 AM comes and goes, so I called again and after holding for 20 minutes while an employee "checked the ETA" of the driver, I was hung up on. I called again and was again put on hold for a long time before finally receiving an answer at 12:30 PM that the Vancouver Police Department had taken over their tow trucks so they were running severely behind. I asked how much longer until it would arrive and was told it could be 30 minutes, it could be 6 hours or it may not come at all! Hearing how upset I was, he repeatedly stated that it was out of their hands and that VPD was to blame for this situation. So I told him I agree it's not their fault that their trucks were commandeered by VPD but IT SURE IS THEIR FAULT THAT THEY DIDN'T BOTHER TO NOTIFY ANY OF THE CUSTOMERS WAITING 4+ HOURS - not to mention on a 100+ degree day!!! So because I didn't want to reschedule for another month out, I had to drive my title and keys directly to their location 25 minutes away from my house and wait in a long line to sign some papers, by which time it was after 1:30 PM. Not to mention that now I have to either go in person again to pick up my check or wait for them to mail it to me. read more

Came in to get a windshield wiper motor the previous day for my car since I had broken the original one. Had purchased the wiper motor the previous day with zero issues. I brought in a broken wiper arm so I could measure it to make sure I was buying the correct one should I find it. Upon looking in my cardboard box that held my tools and the clearly broken wiper arm the gentleman took a green marker and marked my broken wiper with some weird wiring, I assume as to make sure I wasn't stealing anything on my way out. Let's be clear here, there wiper was toast and was chestnut broken to which I had the smaller broken piece for verification purposes. It was way beyond repair and served no purpose in the future except garbage and he knew this. Off I went to hopefully find what I needed. Once I got back to the office not having found what I needed I realized there might be another car there that may contain cosmetic items I was looking for so I went to the front of the line to ask. This time I was lucky enough to be helped may a female who seemed like i was just bothering her and someone shot her fog and stole her liquor. As I asked her what row the other car is on, she noticed the broken, useless wiper arm in my box of tools and proceeded to tell me I couldn't take it out into the yard. I let her know that the gentleman(who was quick to take the admission fee from me) had already marked it with green paint and I was just using it as a measuring guide. She said that it didn't matter. Once I looked to the gentleman that had helped me earlier his response was "I'm not going to bend the rules just for you". He had already marked my shitty wiper, taken my admission fee (of course) and sent me on my way!!! This is the same guy who was cool with it 20 minutes ago. Not like I was bringing in a fucking engine. Once I told the lady that my piece of shit, useless wiper had already been marked by him she didn't care. She said it didn't matter and I would get charged for it if I came back with parts from the yard.. I was totally not interested in getting caught between who was the boss and who wasn't between the two as it was obvious. Eventually he told me I could take it out into the yard but by that time I had lost my patience so I told him I would go somewhere else. Once I left I called Halsey Automotive and was able to purchase 2 brand new wiper arms for $44. Moral of the story here, customer service is everything. I was more than willing to go somewhere and pay more to not have to deal with that Bullshit. It was just fucking petty. Wish this site has negative stars. read more
