Seemed cool at first, bought a phone for 225+ tax at $243.00 out the door this is an iPhone 6 - 16 gigabyte phone. I then went all the way home across town and made a phone call to notice the mic was broken and no one can hear me. I went back - he replaced it with another phone. As we were checking out the new phone he made a comment about the OS being really old and "rare". I didn't mind it assuming i can upgrade it at home. I use a few business applications on my phone, and it stated that the applications outdated the phone ( meaning i needed to upgrade ) Took the phone home, connected to my Wifi - (i have the fastest speed available through Cox at 200+ mbps) and it would not let me upgrade. I tried 3 times for a few hours and nothing. Once again, had to take the phone back. Although this time i wanted a refund - I do not have time to go back and forth as I use my phone for Business purposes - time is money. You have costed me almost 2 days of switching up phones when i could have easily went to Cricket and paid 260$ (ONLY 20$ MORE) and get a 32 GIG phone (not 16 gig) and its BRAND NEW (not sold and someones old, used junk phone). So my advice, is go to Cricket - and explore your options before buying these crap - refurbished phones that they are selling here. Oh and to top it off - after a half tank of gas and 2 days of wasted time i still had to pay the guy $50 to "stock the phone". It's funny because when he gave me the second phone he said he had to bitch at his employees for "leaving them dead and on the table"... Is that your restocking charge? Throwing it in a damn box / on the shelf? Just ensure you explore your options before buying a phone here, sadly i was desperate and needed a phone ASAP after dropping mine in the river. If you want an iphone 6 for $20 more than these guys, and the phone is brand new with double the storage opposed to used, scratched, slow and broken - head to cricket. This fraud business DOES not deserve even one star. The owner sold me stolen phone said "he would fix it" gave me a replacement phone then REFUSED to return me the iphone7 he was "fixing". He was so unprofessional and rude, a lady was behind the glass yelling obscenities "I'll beat your ass" . Police were called thank god and they made him give me back the phone I bought and even the police officer stated that the business is crooked. This place is a civil lawsuit waiting to happen. Don't give these kind of people your hard earned money. BTW THEY HAVE A SIGN IN THE STORE FOR GOOD REVIEW ON YELP TO GET A FREE SCREEN PROTECTOR. Which most of these reviews were probably influenced by. Don't be fooled. I feel bad for the child who had their iPhone stolen sold to this store and was "fixed" for me to buy not being aware of the circumstances. Frauds by far. They sold me a broke phone , told me to come back two days in a row. I spoke to someone different every time. When I wanted to return the phone they wanted to charge me %20. Restock fee. THEY ARE A SCAM ! Sold my girl friend a stolen Iphone 7. They say they were going to fix the problem but how can you fix a problem with a stolen phone. We went back to get the phone a week later and he refused to give us the phone or money. I told him I was calling the police for holding onto my girlfriends purchased phone. He calls the police hes co worker recorded us telling ppl to not buy their stolen items. She said she was gonna beat my girl friend ass on camera for the cops. The police did justice and got the phone back but it was still stolen. He never "fixed" anything like i already suspected 600$ out the window. Thanks Phone World. So I'm on vacation for a week here in Vegas and my Samsung S4 crashed on New Year's eve. No phone no email no text and I'm here until Wednesday. T mobile tells me they no longer have a loaner program and they can send me a replacement that may arrive on Wednesday or Thursday. Phone World to the rescue! On 10-11-16 I went to DM Bros Phone World and purchased a Samsung S7 edge. These guys have excellent customer service. First off they cut my micro SIM card to fit into the nano SIM card slot, saving me time and money from going to an AT&T store. Another positive part of my experience was they threw in a case for free. I Will be shopping here again, as they assured me my product comes with a one year warranty even tho it's a used phone. read more
