This is a beautiful building! It was slightly confusing going here at first because there are two buildings and I was not sure which building my event was held in. Inside there are places to eat and there was plenty of room for the auto show. For the purpose that it served I think it was great. I kind of doubt that my review will have any kind of negative or positive effect on whether people go here since we all mostly care about the event that is going to take place more than the venue. I recommend going here if there is an event you're interested in because it is clean, new, and has close parking. read more

Just got back from our 5 day adventures in Phoenix and I must say the facility is pretty neat. I love it... I haven't really been to many conventions centers... matter of fact this was probably my first one ... I have only been on the outside of the SD one. Maybe I should go compare the two.... But the parking is very accessible, the facility is well maintained, clean, people are very helpful there and its HUGE!!! I looooooooooove the food choices in the center, although they were a little pricey, but it was well worth the buck. I hope to visit the PCC again for another event just to see how it is ran for a different event.. Great job on the architecture as well... very nice!!! read more

This place is giant. I'm truly amazed at how big and clean it is. The staff is really nice and helpful. It has really nice conference/ classroom setting type rooms that are big and large for great breakout sessions. read more

Phoenix Convention Center - Icon center stage - Venues & Event Spaces Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

This CC is built on several green standards and the architecture and landscape is impressive in comparison to many of the Centers i attend. The food court inside the CC is always only half open, but that's ok, because the only thing to do in the surrounding area is eat. The downtown is very boring and seemingly deserted considering there's a metro shopping center and ASU within two blocks. It's like this every time I'm here. Where is everyone? Even though the CC itself deserves 5 stars I almost gave this post 3 due to the uneventful city. read more

Place is nicely kept bathrooms were clean and they are everywhere. Love that we have this amazing place here in Phoenix when temps reach records high and are still able to enjoy these kinds of events with air condition atmosphere. read more

I have been going to the Phoenix Comic Con for about 8 years and I can't think of a better convention center than the Phoenix Convention Center. This is the perfect location in the heart of downtown. Surrounded by plenty of places to eat and hotels for the out of state guest or guest who wants to be by the action for the weekend. read more

Phoenix Convention Center - Quick Silver! Fan Fest 2016 - Venues & Event Spaces Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

The convention center was a nice venue to hold a conference of well over 1200 peoples. The bathrooms were clean and the event space was well designed and put together. I would only have a few complaints- the food at the food court isn't worth it and it's all over salted and upset a lot of peoples stomachs. Venture elsewhere! It was also freezing cold in some of the rooms which is odd be use our conference was in the middle of June. It shouldn't be so cold! Lastly, for the event lunches catered at the convention center the food was good, but the service was terribly lacking. They need to discover a better service system because some people had their lunches thrown at them right as they sat for the salads, while others weren't served until the talks were practically over almost an hour later. If you stay away from food court food, ensure to pack a jacket and have a smaller gathering if lunches are catered, then this is perfect! All in all our time at the convention center was wonderful and the service for coffee breaks and snacks were always well organized and presented. You must take the good with the bad! read more

I attended the NFL Experience for Super Bowl 49. The event was well organized and the property was well maintained. They had plenty of staff working the event willing to help out. I spoke to several locals who frequent events at the facility who also expressed their praise of the property. read more

I was required to use Aventura Catering, part of Aramark for food at a trade show at The Phoenix Convention Center. I have to tell you I was hostile to it since Aramark is known by the masses to feed the jails. Aventura Catering is part of the Aramark family, but they are as far from offering jail food as you can image. They did a fabulous job. I rode them hard too. I was so afraid that the cupcakes would be dry and tasteless. Sandy Brown was my rep; she promised me that Aramark had a top end catering division in Aventura - they did. The only thing that could be improved upon is their communication - more is better than less. I was wondering up until the last minute if all the arrangements would pull off in time. It did. I would easily give Sandy and Aventura Catering 5-stars if I had just one follow-up call confirming all the email arrangements. Sometimes a clients needs reassurance that can only be heard through one's voice. Besides that, it was "job well done". read more

The place is huge! Attending a week long conference of 1700 people. Very clean, quiet, and good food to eat during break times.

this place is really huge. you get the idea its big from its above ground footprint...but the above ground is dwarfed by the underground halls. it's massive. i loved everything but the cactus sand sculpture that look more like butter then they do sand. read more

I attended a four-day conference here and thought it was a very nice facility. I generally don't like convention centers because they feel so sterile, but this one is not that bad. It is easy to navigate, which is really important when getting around a huge conference. The meeting rooms are well set up with very good AV systems and lighting options. There are lots of Starbucks everywhere, decent food options and very friendly staff. It is freezing cold everywhere, so bring a jacket. read more

I came down for Michelle Obama's speach fully expecting to be in one of the ENORMOUS rooms that they have for conventions. Instead they shoved us in the basement with people snaking around the city for hours in the almost 100 degree heat. People where passing out from the heat and then when we finally got in the building we had to snake through another mess of buildings the get to a room where they had three medal detectors to process thousands of people that just wanted to see Michelle Obama! This was the most disgusting failure I've ever seen from this center I feel as if they didn't want us to see her! SHAME ON YOU PHOENIX CONVENTION CENTER!!!! BOOOOOOOO!!!! read more

I think that the Phoenix Convention Center is a really nice space. Even though they have to keep the decor sparse and neutral to appeal to the corporate conventioneers, there are little touches of Arizona culture and Southwestern art everywhere. I love how the large windows let in lots of natural light and offer great views of the downtown skyline. There are plenty of bathrooms, a food court, and conference rooms in a variety sizes to suit a multiple needs. It is head and shoulders above every other conference center I have been to in other cities. read more

You'll always have plenty of room to do whatever you need if you are putting on an event here. The facility is clean and the bathrooms are awesome. I kind of had a hard time finding parking. They have huge roll up doors in the back that make loading and unloading for any type of display really easy. The security guards are kind of nazi's when it comes to letting people drive up the ramp in the back when it is time to tear down. read more

Spent ALL Day Saturday, May 30th at Comicon '11. They Really Over-Sold the event! It was hard to take a step in any direction without being accidentally groped or trampled by someone. And although it was cool meeting Billy Dee Williams AKA Lando Calrissian, it cost $40 bucks just for an autograph. As far as the rest of it went, it was basically a glorified swap meet of lots of local comic book stores that raised their prices to celebrate the convention. Its sad when the most entertaining part of Comicon were the ticket buyers dressed in full geek gear. This convention really needs to step up their game to even dare stand in the shadow of the Mega San Diego Comicon. On the plus side, did manage to pick up a stack of Lenore Comics and some cool Star Wars swag! read more

Very nice facility. It is well maintained and clean with a lot of amenities. A perfect place to hold an expo. Great experience overall.

It's a great place to have a convention, so I give that 5 stars. Their food court is something else. Overpriced, and the coffee shop usually has a problem with their credit so they only take cash. Not very smart, get these businesses on square or some other online payment system and nip that problem in the bud. read more

I enjoyed the Arizona Ultimate Women's Expo. It was something that of course was geared towards women, but I saw several men there as well. I must have entered at least 15 drawings. Deidre Hall was great. It's an even better time if you can get a few girlfriends to go with you. There were 4 different stations for alcohol samples. Some of them were good some not so much, like the Senorita Limonita. That was horrible. If anyone plans on going in the future, plan ahead. I totally didn't even think about the Diamondbacks playing. I had to drive a little bit further for parking, which was worth it. It only cost me $5, whereas every other lot or garage I saw, was $15 or $20. Also, take your time when walking through the expo. There's so much to see and do. Find out when the keynote speakers go on and when demos are, so that you can get the most out of it. read more

Very clean and nice convention center. Staff is "ok"...

First time in Phoenix. Attended the 2017 Volleyball Festival International Championships. Very good experience. The Convention Center seemed new and quite roomy, especially in the upper floor hallway in the North building. Volleyball courts were set up very well with adequate seating for spectators. Food court was convenient as were the various food vendors throughout the West and North buildings. Lots of restrooms; didn't see any lines coming out of any of the women's bathrooms. Security personnel were very visible and polite. For all the people running in and out, the place was always clean especially the bathrooms. Very impressed with this facility and how it is managed for such a large event. read more

Came here for Comicon today, let me just say, I have never been to a more crowded event in my life. I understand that comicon is a major event and although it was fun, it seemed like having that many people in a combined area was unsafe. If there would have been any type of emergency, it would have been a really scary situation. The food court was insane, we had to seriously hunt for a place to sit, and the food was expensive and awful. (Don't eat at Tortillas.) Overall, we had a good time. The venders and events were awesome. We would have enjoyed ourselves much more had there been more room to breathe. I seriously question if fire codes were considered when they were selling tickets for this event. read more

Staff and security handled a crowd of over 7000 with ease. Lines moved quickly and efficiently, myself and others in line were very impressed. Getting out after the event was a little disorganized, but still wasn't too much hassle. read more

drive around a little before settling for the 12 dollar lots. we found one for 3 bucks only half a mile away...and we're going to register for a race, so why not walk a little bit. they kept things moving and efficient, but when there are so many freebies to hand out, the flow of traffic does bottleneck in some spots (people will wait in line for 30 minutes just for a free water bottle, pen, or chap stick). no beer samples this year...boo hiss. read more

I don't really know how to write a review for a conference center but this place is great. The signage is excellent in a huge building. The catering is attentive. The venue is impeccably clean with TONS of restrooms. I would come back here. read more

I came here to pick up my race packet for the Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon. Paid $8 to park at an underground lot across the street because we couldn't find any metered parking. I was immediately impressed by the food court at this convention center even though I didn't get to eat here. There was a coffee shop and a few other fast food joints with plenty of seats. I just kept thinking how dinky the food cafeteria is at the LA convention center is compared to this place. Packet pickup went smoothly. There was no traffic coming in and out of the area. read more

NEVER AGAIN!!! What a sh!t show P/C/C catering put on. Attended the Arizona Tech Summit on 9-12. P/C/C catering provided breakfast and lunch for all the vendors and attendees. First off; breakfast was NOT provided. They never brought anything out...except coffee, but no food...NOTHING. Then, here is what was provided for lunch. I swear to God this is the truth. P/C/C catering provided a sack lunch and this is exactly what was in the bag. A sandwich with white bread, like Sunbeam, ONE slice of processed turkey meat and ONE slice of cheese. One bag of chips. NOTHING ELSE. Not a napkin, not an apple... no cookie...NOTHING. I've been attending trade shows for 30 years and never had a worse experience than these fools. P/C/C catering just flat didn't care; didn't give a crap! And then, they ran out of these prison lunches with about 70 people who didn't get fed. They just walked out, the P/C/C people; just said "TOUGH"; and walked away. Whoever the catering manager was for yesterday should be fired on the spot. The whole attitude of the staff was that they were just SO PUT OUT by us attendees. read more
