Brought the family down for the Ostrich Festival. We had a blast!! There was an abundance of food, presentations, carnival games & rides, live music and more!!! I love the old western vibe at Rawhide, it definitely fits the "ostrich festival" vibe. My only complaint is that there were no water bottle refill stations... I understand that they want to make money on water, but only being allowed to bring in 1 bottle per person in Arizona when it's 91 degrees outside is a bit wild to me. It costed $4 for a 6oz (approximate) bottle and that definitely adds up when you've got a family of 4 to keep hydrated

I've always loved Rawhide, which is why we chose it for our work Christmas party, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. We brought small gift ornaments for our guests and placed them on the tables, but many people never received them because event staff picked them up and took them when picking up our plates that we were done with as a lot of us were standing up, mingling at a time. This was extremely frustrating. The room next to ours also had a band, and the doors were left open. When we had people speaking during our event, you couldn't hear a thing over the music. Drink tickets were another issue. Tickets were $15 each, even for soda and bottles of water. I've never experienced that at a company holiday party -- at the very least, if they didn't have alcohol in them, they should've got two sodas or two bottled waters because they were $15 absolutely absurd. The food was edible but nothing special. Buffets are tough, so I won't be overly critical there, but it definitely wasn't memorable. What really did it for me was being told by security that I couldn't use the restroom in our event space, even though our party time wasn't over. I was told to use the public restrooms instead. That was enough for me -- I left. One last thing: when we went out to look at the lights, there was nowhere to get a drink on the grounds, unless you stood outside in the cold at a small stand you could pressed one. The only indoor option was a saloon that required a VIP ticket. We spent over $10 grand for T his party and we can't be even be in a warm area to have a drink besides our party room. Overall, Rawhide is a place I've always enjoyed, but as our event venue, this experience missed the mark.

great festival grounds! especially love the western theme + goldrush combo. the stages are huge, and there's so much space to walk around and wander. the large grass patch is honestly really nice and cool, and the parking situation is honestly really good for a festival. only qualm is the amount of dust! definitely wear a face mask/covering because you WILL get extremely congested and potentially sick. i definitely had to use a netipot after this festival.

Let's support the locals. We're here just for a Thanksgiving vacation. Saw in the news that tonight is the first night they're opening this 7 million lights. Western town that they filled with 7 million lights... cool!! With shows and store for funnel cakes and kettle corn. You can really feel the christmas spirit in this place.

My wife and I were there for the Ostrich Festival which had recently moved from Tumbleweed Park to Rawhide at Wild Horse Pass. A very different footprint from the park, but the behind-the-scenes folks responsible for the festival did a fantastic job in the new location. Known for its concerts, the festival did not disappoint. Kansas, Vanilla Ice, Baby Bash, and The Commodores, among others. Smaller national bands and some local artists graced a smaller stage as well. Top notch entertainment was everywhere this year. Megan the Bubbleologist amazed with her bubbles, Mango and Dango added excitement with their music and dancing, the Cup Guy dazzled with his juggling skills, Off-Axis Stunt Shows were fantastic in three separate shows - BMX, trampoline, and diving. There was a magic show with Sean and Chanelle and their Model T car, live ostriches, a daily evening parade, STEM games, birds, and so much more to see. Already looking forward to next year's Ostrich Festival, held at Rawhide.

Rawhide hosts various events, including bull riding and concerts. For the Fever event, parking was free. For Ostrich Festival, pre-paid parking was $13 or $15 at the gate. You really have no other choice but to park in their lot given that it's basically out there on it's own in Chandler. It's about a 30-minute walk from Gila Casino. Rawhide is a "Western Town." While there isn't any historical context, Rawhide is made to look like an old Western town, dusty roads and saloon-style buildings included. The aesthetic is pretty cool. And it's spacious too. The logistics with the parking situation and getting your shoes dusty, not so much. Depending on the event, there might be vendors selling food, drinks, and more. While the vibe is cool, as the self-appointed king of events in Phoenix, I put this venue close to the end of the pecking order overall.

They were amazing instructors. I no longer worry about Brad when swimming. He learned so much. Seeing the progress Brad made in a little time, made me want to sign up too. I have been swimming since I was 2 years old, but I was never formally taught to swim. I thought this was a great opportunity, plus it got me out of the extreme heat! While swimming there I found out they offer tennis lessons, aerobics, exercise, and other fun adult classes. The facilities and buildings are always clean and accommodating.

The restaurant and outdoor entertainment complex is huge and has a really fun, energetic vibe. According to the bartender, they have ping-pong, pickleball, and a big upstairs outdoor patio with amazing views of Tempe and the surrounding area. There's also a large parking lot, lots of outdoor seating, and even a dog park area, which makes it really easy to spend time here. The bartenders and wait staff were very friendly. Azbel was a great server. I had the bistro steak and fries and the Szechuan lettuce wraps, and both were really good. Portions were generous. During late-night happy hour my total was about $55 for a main entrée, an appetizer, a cocktail, and tip, which felt like a great deal. I was pleasantly surprised that happy hour runs every day Monday through Sunday from 3-6 PM and again from 8 PM to close. I also checked out the event venue on site, and it looks like it would be a great place for a company party, corporate event, or group gathering. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.

The Service was "electric" for us as we were celebrating a birthday at the table during lunch. It was too Hot for us to do pickleball, but they do have a fully shaded area that had people playing outside ~105 degrees. As for the food, we had the Fish & Chips with a Mahi Mahi Slaw & Fries, the Ahi Poke Tacos which come in Wonton shells. Hot Honey and Sausage Pizza was great. The Barbacoa Nachos had all the right ingredients & the Double Smash Burger had only some "fancy sauce" on the plate. The Tempura Green Bean, can't remember who ordered, but were good with the chipotle ranch sauce. With me, I'm all about the cocktails, so I treated myself to both the Froze Margarita & the Chi Chi. They call them spiked slushes, I call them "heaven sent" during the Arizona Summer. All of the food was a hit for the table and my family understood why I suggested EP for lunch! I said our Server was "electric" and that's because they made our experience very enjoyable. It was appreciated and I will return again for lunch and pickleball (in the evenings) during the hot summer!
