Have not golfed here (yet), but have visited for the weekend farmers market and the recent GCRH open concerts. I love the grounds and the restaurant Glenrosa is SO cute. The event was so well organized and the staff were amazing. I am not much of a golfer but this place makes me want to be!

4 person carts available

My fav course and driving range in the valley! I also loved the tacos and margarita I got from Glenrosa! They have a gorgeous brand new outside bar and seating area and service was great. You can also order food from the restaurant to the driving range. They have comfy couches and seating at the driving range and same tech as top golf. Great vibes all around

Sunset - time for golf under the lights

So. Much. Potential. This place gets better every time I visit. On my last round, there were still some growing pains that impact my rating, but I'm confident this place is going to be 5-star in no time. Knock: it's expensive - priced for potential not reality maybe. Last round included driving range balls but it was closed under construction. So many dirt walkways. I don't think I've ever been so dusty getting back in my car. Warm beer from the temporary bar setup at the entrance - bummer - at least the cart girl had drinks on ice. Wins: The best food truck I've ever had at a golf course. The shrimp burrito was crazy delicious. The unique play under the lights was a total blast. Every time it's just fun - and the vibes at this course are chill and modern. Zero stuffy country club energy here. If you've got your iron game on point, you can really flex on this course. Birdie ball Check it out. It's fun today and it just keeps improving. Can't wait to see how this place evolves.

The only twighlight golf in Scottsdale which exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff that serves alcohol by the 1st hole and a Mexican food truck that can be deliver your food to you while playing. The driving range was still under construction but the host mentioned they were still adding more to the course and it should be fully completed by the end of year. We started with 9 holes but ended up playing a full 18 as it was that much fun. As I'm a lefty and didn't bring my clubs, they do offer rentals and a 4 seater power cart. Overall I had a great experience and I look forward to coming back and playing another round

Slowest round of golf in my life. Uninterested staff. Honestly, brutally run golf course.

This place is so conveniently located that it instantly turns any business trip or quick getaway into a golf adventure. If I ever retire to Phoenix, I'd be hunting for a house right around here in a heartbeat. Most folks picture Arizona golf as nothing but cacti, sand, and rocks baking in the sun. Not here! Raven is an absolute oasis with thousands of mature pine trees lining the fairways, lush rolling greens, strategic bunkers, and stunning views of South Mountain and the valley beyond. It's like a lush Northern Arizona vibe dropped right into the desert beautifully manicured and way more forgiving (and fun) than the typical target-style desert courses. This was our very first stop on a multi-course golf binge, suggested by a friend, and it completely set the tone. Everything only gets better from here, but Raven was the ideal starter: challenging yet playable for all levels, with that championship Gary Panks/David Graham design that keeps you thinking on every shot. The staff was super accommodating and friendly from the moment we arrived. The food? Mouth-watering definitely grab the burger (you won't regret it). Drinks were cold, the vibe relaxed, and the whole experience made it feel like we were kicking off something special. Nothing beats golf in Arizona when the conditions are this good. Raven was the perfect warm-up round, and now I'm hooked scan't wait to hit the rest of the courses on our list! Highly recommend making Raven your first (or only) stop in Phoenix. You won't be disappointed.

Now Phoenician only has 18 holes, lost 9 holes to vacation homes being build around the course. The course is still beautiful and back 9 has some good views with beautiful landscape surrounding the course. As for the course, it is in excellent condition with minor brown patches due to the summer heat. Most holes are target golf so Make sure you know where to aim. It is challenging due to undulating fairways and greens where our group truly enjoy the round. Will definitely return when I find good deals on teeoff.com again. Nice golf carts with TuneIn stations. Cooler with ice to chill your canteens. Chill bottled water provided in most comfort stations Friendly OSP and staffs. Bathroom on course: A+

They will go over the top for whatever you need and they always have a cart out on the course for refreshments (was interesting that the other few I've played didn't). The vibe is very chill and welcoming with all workers I came in contact with were very happy to be there (says a lot about the culture). As far as pace of play the other reviews are correct is does play a little slower as it is an easier course in the Valley and welcomes everyone and with that you are going to get caught behind some learners but also remember that we were all there once too! I also have had interactions with Andrew (the boss) he seems very accommodating and sensible. I absolutely love this course and the staff. Overall it's a 10/10. Last point I will say is to the review who was not impressed by the conditions in June I would recommend pinetop or flagstaff for your golfing options during the summer because when it's 120+ in the valley I don't think there's enough water in the valley to keep the courses in crazy good shape. I hope this helps everyone choosing their place to play!

But as many of the reviews have stated, the pace of play on the golf course is terrible. We teed off at 1 o'clock and finished just before six. According to the Ranger, the course had some bachelor parties, which doesn't excuse the course for allowing them to slow pace a play for everyone else on the course and ruin the experience. I don't think financially it makes sense to cater to a bachelor party when you'll lose all the other golfers who will not come back to this course to play. The course was in fine condition, but that doesn't really matter when the pace of play is absurdly slow and the slow groups aren't required to move forward a hole. I won't ever be coming back to this course to play.

We then grabbed our golf balls and clubs and headed on out. Once outside, we stood in line for the black course. Both the red and black courses had long lines but we opted for the black. We waited about 15 minutes to finally be able to start. It was really busy so we moved slow as there was one big group ahead of us. There was also a big ol line behind us. We played all 18 holes and it took close to 3 hours to complete. We had lots of fun though and the music was lit. The course itself was challenging and fun. It was a nice night out as it was not hot and they had the fans going on at full blast. This place was great! Will be back! They have military and senior discounts available!

Upon checking in and paying, there is an assortment of putters and color-coded golf balls so you know whose ball is whose. Our party of six (max players in a group) played our way through the black 18-hole course in about an hour. Tiger Woods designed this course with two 18-hole courses, red and black (his Sunday colors) and it's a surprisingly challenging play. The green carpet is dense and plush, not like the Astroturf of many similar courses. The "sand traps" are areas of white carpet that is slightly shaggier than the green. Food and beverages are available on the course with a QR code to scan and order, there is a nice outdoor spot where we sat and ordered lunch. Next to us was a play area with ping-pong and bags, and a fenced toddler play yard. Our lunch was good and I highly recommend checking it out if you're in Scottsdale!
