It's a clean and spacious venue and Culinary Dropout catered the food here both times I have been here. And if you know Culinary Dropout, you know you're in for some truly tasty bites. As far as event spaces go it doesn't get much better. The Showcase Room was elegant, large, and had really spectacular food and drink for this kind of venue. I came here for a really large work party and the best way to describe the ambiance was a nice wedding reception without a wedding. We had beautifully decorated tables with assigned seats, fun music, a bar, and photo ops. The drinks were good - in my opinion they were pretty standard event cocktails. Definitely tasty, but not craft cocktail level drinks. When it came time to eat and we all went through the buffet, I had pretty low expectations since it is a buffet to feed over 100 people. I have to say though, the food was really and truly wonderful. Best event food I've had hands down. Overall if you're looking for a fun place for your next large party this is a great option. I'd be happy to have a reason to go back! read more

For our annual department week/get together we had dinner at The Showcase Room. I've been to quite a few large scale events from venues to hotels and I was truly impressed by this group and venue. The nailed it. The service was friendly and quick from appetizers, the bar to the buffet line. The food was so fresh and flavorful. It was Culinary Dropouts menu. I'm not sure if they share a kitchen, as they're next door, but the quality was just as good as if you were dining in with an intimate group. They accommodated roughly 120 of us and I would definitely check them out if you're considering it or looking for a venue space. Lots of thanks to the team there! read more

Had a wonderful time at The Showcase Room in Tempe! I attended a company gathering here with my coworkers, and it was such a nice spot for a private event. The space is modern with high ceilings and exposed wooden beams complete with twinkly lights. I also loved the large garage door that was open when we arrived turning it into an indoor outdoor space. They even provided corn hole and other fun games to play on the patio which was a nice touch! The staff working was friendly and welcoming. Bartenders were quick to make cocktails despite the large number of us. The food, from Culinary Dropout next door, was served buffet style and was delicious! There were options for everyone including those with dietary restrictions. Such an excellent space for any sort of ceremony or private events! read more

The Showcase Room hosted my company for a department-wide dinner event. They did a fabulous job: great location, well decorated, friendly staff, delicious food and good drinks. Bathrooms are easy to get to and kept fairly clean. The interior is a large open space, perfect to customize to your space's needs and with room for a dance floor. Came here for a private work function and had a wonderful time! The food was catered by Culinary Dropout and it was absolutely amazing. Usually buffet style food at these types of events is just okay, but the menu really knocked my socks off! The space is really nice, and we were able to spread out and enjoy some cornhole outside, as well as some dancing by the DJ booth. The bathrooms are super spacious and clean (and very fancy). I recently visited The Showcase Room for a department-wide gathering my company was having in town. There were about 100 of us and it was a great space to hold us all together. There was a patio in front of the entrance with games like corn hole and jenga and right inside and to the right was a bar. The rest of the space is wide open. Wood floors, tall open ceilings, and even projectors on the walls. The drink and buffet services were on point. The menu was delicious thanks to Culinary Dropout. This is a great place for a wedding/reception or any time of ceremony or party. Highly recommend it. read more

For our Yelp community manager week in Phoenix, there was a huge dinner party here and it was so impressive! From the table decor to the fun twinkle lights, great service, cool drinks, and both indoor and outdoor space, it made for the perfect venue. Our organization had a meeting on August 29, 2017. We were fortunate enough to work with the sensational banquet coordinator, Kelley. Not only was she extremely easy to work with but incredibly organized. We had 100 doctors attend our event and we were amazed at the quality of the food, the excellent audiovisual equipment, and how quiet the servers were when they delivered our food during the 3 hour presentation. We have been organizing events for over a decade for continuing education purposes and this is one of the best events we ever had. The exquisite attention to details and the excellent preparation from all the staff at the Showcase Room was phenomenal. Kudos to Carly which was our captain and go to person for the evening. As an organizer of events, I realize how difficult it is to remain precisely on time. Fortunately, your staff delivered the salad and entrées precisely on time allowing our event to run precisely on time to the minute. Holy smokes...Lindsey and Connor are amazing. Great communication throughout the planning...emails, updates etc. Upon arrival, everything was all set up and Connor there to help. Connor took care of us all day...fetching lemonade, champagne flutes, ketchup, etc. Always with a smile and an "of course". Had a work event here last night and the place was amazing. Just the right amount of space and a nice atmosphere. We had an open bar (oh yeah) and the bartenders were quick as well as creative! The food was very good, choices of salads, hummus, ribs and pasta, all were delicious. They had two deserts, a tiny smore, and a little caramel corn topped custard that were crazy good! I have hosted multiple corporate events both for my department and for our external partners and have been extremely happy with the outcome. Booking and planning is always easy and quick, which makes my life so much easier. It feels nice to go into these events not stressed about the planning phase. We had our wedding reception at The Showcase Room last month and it was absolutely incredible. The staff at The Yard, especially Kelley, is unparalleled. We could not have asked for a more helpful coordinator in Kelley - she worked with us tirelessly and helped us build the perfect event. The servers and bartenders were perfect, and I was wowed by how quickly they flipped the room after the event. The food deserves its own paragraph because it was divine. I mean it when I say that the salmon is the best piece of fish I have ever had. I find myself craving it from time to time; I have been ever since we had our tasting. Many of ours guests told us how much they loved the food and appreciated all the options, including gluten-free and vegetarian. The room is elegant and relaxed, modern but not too modern. It is a warm space that almost has a lounge feel to it at times. We saw a bunch of wedding sites, but this was the only place for us. I would choose to have my wedding reception here 10 times out of 10. The Showcase Room at The Yard is an absolute gem and I will always remember the wonderful party we were able to throw there. Last weekend, we had our wedding dreams come true at The Showcase Room. We decided on the space in the spring of 2016 for our October 8th brunch wedding. Kelley was a wonderful resource in helping us plan the entire event down to the smallest details. She was flexible, knowledgeable, and thought of things we hadn't considered. We were able to clearly and concisely plan the event through email as well! On the day of our wedding, Alyssa had the space organized beautifully with complimentary champagne for the bride ;). We recently hosted a company event at The Showcase Room for approximately 100 people, and it was absolutely PERFECT! The food, attention to detail, service, ambiance, and drinks were beyond our expectations. Kelley and Alexia helped coordinate the event, and had some really great ideas for the layout and menu. We had food stations from a few of the Fox Restaurants, so it was a nice variety of options for our guests- very creative! We were hosting airline/aviation professionals, so they renamed some of the signature drinks to fit the airline industry- it was a huge hit! Our bartenders and servers were top notch. The room has such a great, warm design that not much additional decor is needed (making my life easier), and has a garage door opening to the patio that allows for the bonus outdoor space to be used (a great addition for our guests coming from Chicago in the winter!). I have planned a lot of events in my career, from 10 people to 1000, and honestly have never had one go so smoothly and effortlessly as this one...all due to the professionalism and quality of the staff at The Showcase Room & Culinary Dropout.
