Ashley was great in assisting us with the planning process and keeping us on track on our wedding day. The bridal and grooms suites are small. It was doable for us because I only had 3 ladies standing up with me. The grooms suite is even smaller. People say that wedding never start on time. Our wedding started on time and ended as stated in our contract. The cocktail room was great. There is a wall to hang (3) photos of the bride and groom only if you want to. We provide the photos and unfortunately one of the photos did not make it on the wall. That was disappointing. There was also a card box that had a lock and key. Unfortunately the key was lost. It is for these reasons that I cannot give 5 stars. Other than that, our experience was nice and the venue was wonderful. The team at Soho63 were accommodating, professional and attentive. I would recommend!

We casually looked online at a few places, and to be honest, I don't even remember how we came across Wedgewood but they ended up being the ONLY venue we looked it. We met Blayne and had a WONDERFUL first appointment! She was so kind, so patient, very detailed, and very thorough. Although we are not into golf, there are so many places in the venue that is not golf related, we felt it was a great balance! Lots of greenery and trees, and some cute water features. After viewing it, we went back to the office and found out the date we wanted was available. To be safe, we put down a small holding deposit so we were able to have a few days to be able to talk it over and sleep on it. We knew that is what we wanted and we easily set our next appointment to being the process and we met Natalia. Natalia helped with some in-between planning and was just as kind, friendly, and sweet as Blayne. She made us feel so comfortable and ensured Blayne was in the know with any changes we had to make. The planning process was very easy. I stress easily, so per course, I had some stressful points because I felt there was so much to do in the binder. Once I reviewed it all and comprehended what we really needed to do, it was not bad. The binder laid it all out and had lots of helpful hints. It truly helped us stay organized. In-between appointments, when we had questions, all we had to do was email them and usually same day, or less than 24 hours, we had detailed responses. All of the final planning appointments, both Blayne and Natalia assured us that everything would be handled and shared positive feedback with us that the planning we did was strong, and that we were ahead of the game. it felt good to hear from the professionals that we were on track! The day of, I admit, I was a bit apprehensive, but that is simply because I don't let go a lot. I am usually the one to run or oversee things in my family, so for me to be able to let go, was a bit difficult in the beginning. But let me tell you, Blayne ended up being able to be our "day of" coordinator, and things could not have been executed any more patiently, smoothly, and beautifully. Want to hear the best part? 6 months prior when we signed with Wedgewood, they told us that if it rains, they have a contingency plan to move everything inside. We felt good that in the off chance it rained, we would still have a wonderful ceremony and reception. It was a little security blanket. We kind of laughed because in Arizona, it doesn't rain much. We had a HORRIBLE and dry summer and fall. Awful. But OH NO... WHEN DOES ARIZONA DECIDE TO RAIN? Tuesday November 19th, 2019, @ 5pm of our wedding day.... A first it was a bummer, but my fiance and I LOVE the rainy weather and it was a sign of good luck. Some of our pictures outside with the gloomy and wet backdrop, came out so beautiful. Blayne and Nicole executed the contingency plan like it was planned all along. There was NO hiccups. Blayne helped keep us calm, she and Nicole communicated with the both of us, and we always knew what was next and to not stress. Those ladies did NOT falter once. I read another review where it was mentioned about the ENTIRE staff being professional and having great customer service. That is entirely true. Not once did we feel uncomfortable or that we were a nuisance. We were treated so well and everything went off without a hitch! We still cannot stop talking about our day of and how special it was. Because of Blayne, Nicole, and Natalia, once I arrived and saw everything getting ready to go, I let myself relax and trust everything was in their hands. It TRULY was the best day of our lives and we cannot give enough thanks for Wedgewood for making our day as special as they did. Side Note: People may be wondering about value and some other things. For us, we felt the value was MORE than fair. Was there a couple things I recommended to consider for the future, sure. But the one or two small things I could "mention" aren't worth even sharing here because it was SO tiny, and I feel it is more of my own opinion based on own views on life and it doesn't mean it makes anyone wrong. Our day was THAT special because of Wedgewood that we never ONCE thought about anything that could have even remotely bothered us. Additionally, we have NOTHING but good things to say about their vendors. Our flowers, WE'RE GORGEOUS. Our cake, words cannot describe our cake. It took pure talent to pull off our cake. DJ Gary? HE KNOWS how to do his job and he had a bunch of good ideas. He DID AWESOME keeping things on track! The food? DELICIOUS. Due to being so excited and nervous, we didn't each much. But what we did, fantastic and all of our guests raved about the food.

The whole reason we did this for her birthday is because my daughter is a strong believer in unicorns and absolutely loves them. Upon arriving the kids immediately noticed the "unicorn" and his horn was lopsided, falling off of his head. My daughter went up to the employee and told her that the horn was falling off. Later she told me that it broke her heart it wasn't a real unicorn. If you have a group coming specifically for a unicorn encounter that unicorn should be ready and looking magical as can be for their arrival. Additionally, the second reason we chose this experience was because the website said you would get to hold bunnies. My daughter loves bunnies and told me all leading up to the party that she couldn't wait to hold a bunny. The employee did NOT let the girls hold bunnies at all, she only let them pet the bunny. It also said they would feed alpacas, sheep, and goats. They didn't have the girls feed any animals at all. In fact no one was guiding through the process at all aside from a lady taking the girls in a circle twice on the pony. Then she disappeared for a long time until she finally came back out and brought out one bunny for them to pet. The AC was not turned on in the castle until we were about to leave and it was 2:30 in the afternoon so almost 100 degrees outside. Overall very disappointed and would not recommend going here. We paid $125 for the kids to basically run around a farm for an hour in 100 degrees. The reviews had been so great saying they make it a magical experience and sadly the magic was exactly what we were missing today.

Leading up to the party, Christy was incredibly responsive and patient, answering all of my questions via email and even giving us a tour of the venue ahead of time. The space was absolutely perfect for our princess unicorn theme. During the party, Rebecca and DJ were so kind, patient, and attentive with all 15 kids, allowing them to ride the ponies multiple times, helping with photos while riding, and bringing out the hare and baby goat for petting--which the kids absolutely loved. All of the animals, including the miniature horses, donkey, sheep, alpaca, chickens, geese, and ducks, were very friendly and tolerant with the children. It was obvious how well cared for and loved the animals are. DJ even went above and beyond by helping my husband lift a heavy cooler full of drinks during setup, which was greatly appreciated. The party setup looked beautiful, and everyone--kids and parents alike--had an amazing time. I think it was the owner and I felt a little awful about having interrupted her life at 8 PM but she was really nice and ensured the correct delivery address was planned. She also called me back the next day to confirm delivery, and my friend loved the flowers. She sent a photo and they looked just like the website. Fresh flower deliveries are never cheap, but I thought this was an excellent value. They had options across price ranges and really pretty options that were different than what I've seen on other sites -- and actually pretty and tasteful non-flower options like the beautiful macaroons.
