Week long teachers conference. Everyone was so kind. Staff very friendly. We were provided breakfast, lunch and snack. Clean and organized.

Hey y'all, so I went here for a two day conference and overall let me say I was impressed! They had a spacious cafeteria which was well appointed with hot cocoa, hot teas, cold sodas, and waters with fruit bowls at all times I was impressed with the food as it was mass produced but tasty all the same. They even had snacks! The only thing that was a disappointment was the breakfast. It was cold fruit, danish, and cereal. Nothing hot was offered. My recommendation would be to get breakfast on the way. Another downside was the lack of trash cans! For a space this big, they had none except for the bathroom and the cafeteria. Not even in the small break out session rooms was there a trash can to be seen. Parking was okay but this place got packed with our 150 plus people in attendance! I would recommend this center for those looking to book a conference center :)

This is a really great conference center. If you have a work training, I'll say it again for the whole class. THIS IS A REALLY GREAT CONFERENCE CENTER. The location is pretty central. Being in Cotton Center, I had no problems getting there from the east valley. Parking is clean and ample. The landscaping is well-manicured. Upon entry, it is clean and open. The gal at the desk was very kind, but had no idea what conferences were there. Yelp offered a water bottle or koozie on check in, but it seemed too awkward to ask. The conference room I was in was bright and comfortable in temperature. The chairs were not the hard, uncomfortable, twitch-in-your-seat, back issues chairs. They were comfy, swivel, reclining, armed, fabric seats. Yes! Sorry, that was my backside shouting for joy. I did note, however, that the sound system was not the best. It was tinny and inconsistent. Let's talk about food, shall we? Shalllll weeeee? There is a separate dining room, and even a whole other cocktail/ break area. The lunches are handled well, with different conferences staggered, and tables reserved. The break station is constantly full. There is Starbucks coffee, hot water, Tazo teas, Nestle cocoa, water and iced tea. Then, there are two giant clear refrigerators with water bottles, juices, Coke AND Pepsi products. The snacks are unbelievably great quality, and never run out: hot churro, tamale bites, fruit, granola bars, pretzels, candies, cereal bars, goldfish, chips, chips and salsa and guacamole...you name it! Breakfast had hot and cold cereal, fruit, pastries, bagels and toast, hardboiled eggs and cereal bars. Lunches were different every day. Day 1, glazed chicken and potato-crusted cod, potatoes, veggies, rice and an array of soups, salads, fruit and accoutrements. Day 2, crab-stuffed sole plans chicken, potatoes, cauliflower, green beans, rice, soups, etc. Day 3, beef tips, terikayi salmon, rice, veggies, a killer potato soup, etc. And the desserts! Red velvet, chocolate, carrot, and a vast array of other cakes, churro, etc. When my conference was over after day 3, I pondered how I would feed myself from now on? We were truly spoiled. The staff was friendly and efficient. An empty plate never sat long, and conference room trays were emptied often. The center also supplied pads and pens, for those who came unprepared. For the record, not me. I am like a girl scout, man! If you are booking, or attending a conference or meeting here, you won't be sorry.

Well equipped and ready to go!

Amazing place for conferences or meetings. Impeccable, comfortable and well equipped. The layout was well taught, each conference room feels independent to the test, giving you a sense of privacy. I attended a two day company event. The bathrooms were always clean and the personal were helpful and friendly. The food was actually very good and they had plenty of soda, water, yes and Starbucks coffee. I am from California, but this place is definitely highly recommended for anybody from the Phoenix area looking for a conference center.

    Ample and free parking.

No matter how boring or pointless your meeting is, if you hold it here, people will show up, even if just for the food. It's great!

It's a clean and spacious venue and Culinary Dropout catered the food here both times I have been here. And if you know Culinary Dropout, you know you're in for some truly tasty bites. I came here for a really large work party and the best way to describe the ambiance was a nice wedding reception without a wedding. We had beautifully decorated tables with assigned seats, fun music, a bar, and photo ops. The drinks were good - in my opinion they were pretty standard event cocktails. Definitely tasty, but not craft cocktail level drinks. When it came time to eat and we all went through the buffet, I had pretty low expectations since it is a buffet to feed over 100 people. I have to say though, the food was really and truly wonderful. Best event food I've had hands down. Overall if you're looking for a fun place for your next large party this is a great option. I'd be happy to have a reason to go back!

Wanting to try another of their restaurants before the ungodly heat arrived, we decided to stop in for lunch. Parking: can be a bit nerve wracking, especially parking in the dirt lots east of the place. You have to walk across 32nd St & if you know Phoenix drivers, this can be dangerous. There is a pedestrian light now, though, so that helps -- but oddly enough, there's no "walk" signage. It's merely a blinking yellow light for north- sound-bound traffic so you have to pray to the universe drivers are paying attention & actually stop for you. Ordering: a bit odd. The main door we went in was more the middle door that didn't really take you to the beginning. There's a drink station then the food station. We skedaddled to the right of the main doors for the drink order, only to discover there's another door that people walk through to place orders. So we joggled w/ another customer trying to figure out who was there first. It honestly felt like a school cafeteria, a bit chaotic, as well as cramped. The patio was pretty large & well shaded, but it was also full -- and this particular day also the ONLY SHADE. We were left to sit at one of their many tables on the grounds with no shade. Food: not worth the $77 we paid. I get it's a working farm, & though we try to support local as much as possible, the food we ordered was not good enough that we will stop by again. The strawberry fields salad was a typical salad, no wow factor there. The Italian sammy was dry. There was a minuscule amount of some kind of dressing on it, but def not enough. Dessert: red velvet whoopie pie was so overpriced it's not funny. If it tasted great, I wouldn't complain...it did not taste great. The pecan pie was abysmal; not enough filling and very bland. Two "specialty" drinks, a salad, a sandwich, & two small desserts, for $77? No, sorry, not again.

The property is older but nicely remodeled, and that worked in its favor because the water pressure in the shower was strong compared to what you get in newer hotels. The fitness center was impressive for a hotel gym. It had everything needed for a solid workout. Beds were comfortable and the room was spotless. The only thing to note is the unique layout: since the hotel is built into the Butte, the floors can be a little confusing at first. For example, the lobby is on floor five, the pool's on floor three, and I stayed on floor two. Once you get the hang of it though, the design and views make it a stunning property. We made the most of the beautiful Phoenix weather. We even got to relax on the patio for cocktails. If you're looking for a full-service Marriott with a resort vibe that's close to the airport, this is definitely a top choice.

The rooms were spotlessly clean, fresh, modern, comfortable beds, and everything felt well-maintained and inviting. The service was top-notch: friendly, attentive staff who went out of their way to make our stay special. Shoutout to the front desk and housekeeping teams, they truly made us feel welcome. One of the highlights was the lovely patio area, whether relaxing by the pools or enjoying the outdoor spaces with stunning mountain and valley views. The amenities are fantastic: cascading pools, hot tubs carved into the mountainside, a waterslide for fun, and beautiful grounds that feel like a true desert escape. Everything exceeded expectations for a relaxing getaway close to the airport and Tempe attractions. One note for fellow travelers: The resort expansive and is built into the hillside, so there are plenty of stairs throughout the property, between the lobby, rooms, pools, restaurants, etc. It's gorgeous and adds to the unique layout, but if you or anyone in your party has mobility issues, consider requesting a more accessible room location or using the resort's golf cart/shuttle service where available. They do accommodate, but it's something to plan for ahead.
