Great lunch spot I like to visit to get an authentic banh Mi grilled pork sandwich. It comes with pickled carrots in them which add great flavor. I like to get the crispy spring rolls as well which I believe is a shrimp/pork combo (not to big of a fan of the fish sauce it comes with though). Great meal for roughly $8 so can't complain! read more

So so so glad that there is a good Vietnamese place in Coppell. Now I don't have to wait for my mother in law to make my favorite dishes. Their food is tasty.Their service is prompt and courteous. Prices are pretty standard for a Vietnamese restaurant so is the decor. A little sad they stopped delivery, but they are conveniently located so driving over to pickup to go orders is easy. We order to-go more than we dine in as of late. The food, especially the pho broth, is always nice and hot when we get home to eat it. Give them a try and I am sure you will like Pho Yen Phi. The combination crispy noodle (with extra sauce) was one of the best I've ever had! The pho came with an egg in it! The bo luc lac also had a lot of flavor. The staff was nice too! Apparently they're closed on Sundays read more

I've been wanting to try this spot out when we had that terrible ice situation and I was stuck at home for four days! This place unfortunately didn't deliver that day but were open. I was tempted to walk there because hot pho on a cold and Icy day sounded so great but I decided not to. I finally went here the day before thanksgiving to try this place out with my mom. I wanted to take it to go and eat at home so we got there and ordered our food. Anytime we had questions about a dish the lady would answer it but then would say "okay you want this..." And almost start writing it down as our order and I had to say "no no I am just asking". My mom and I are both vegetarian so we had to make sure we were ordering items that had no meat in it whatsoever. They have vegetarian broth by the way which I don't think I've ever been to a pho place that had that. I got the tofu noodle soup with vegetarian broth along with tofu summer rolls. My mom got the crispy noodles with tofu and vegetables. We got home and dug in and wow was it good. The broth was tasty for a vegetarian broth... The tofu was great and all the fixings for the pho was also good. I love cilantro but they didn't have any in my Baggie of add ins =[. My mom loved her crispy noodle dish, she had never tried anything like that but she killed that dish. I stole a few bites myself and man... Was it good! I think we will definitely be back here very soon. read more

Finally, pho in Coppell. And it's good, too! It has an authentic atmosphere with friendly staff, and it's clean and cozy. The pho broth is so aromatic! And it isn't greasy either. They give a good amount of noodles and meat for their large bowls. Another plus is that all their ingredients are super fresh. Their dishes are a little more expensive than most places, but there isn't a more convenient place for pho in the area. This is still going to be my go-to spot for lunch during weekdays. Can't wait to try the rice and vermicelli dishes! read more

There was a hair in my food. A thick, coarse, long black hair. We had taken our food to go, and had eaten most of it when I saw it: a hair amongst the sprouts, and unlike any on any of our heads. Absolutely gross. So, I went back to the restaurant and explained to the individual working the cash register that I had found a hair. Here is what I did not get: an apology. A resolution. An offer to make it right. Here is what I did get: confusion. Suspicious. Blame-shifting. A total lack of responsibility. After getting someone from the back to (helpfully?) picked the hair out of the food and then went in the back to throw it away, I clearly and calmly explained that I wanted my money back. "But you ate it." Wait, what? You dropped your DNA in my food and can't see why a refund might be an appropriate response? I was trying to give these guys a chance because, pre-hair-incident, the food was actually pretty good. So I said, "I just need to know if you are going to give me my money back, or if I'm never going to eat here again." I really wasn't trying to be rude or be a jerk about it, but to me that was really the principle at stake--do you do right by your Customers or dig in your heels and say, "Tough." I was told that only the owner could approve my refund, and that they weren't at the restaurant, so they would have to take my number and call me back. Well...that call never came, and neither did a refund. I didn't even get to keep the hair. And, so, alas, I shall never return. Decent food, OK prices, questionable health practices (hairnets are NOT expensive, guys)...and--worst of all--terrible Customer Service. Short: Pros: Food Cons: Atmosphere Long: Pros: Best pho for miles, quick service, and friendly servers. I like that it's close to home for me and they deliver too! Cons: The building seems old and the chairs are a bit uncomfortable. read more

Love this place! Delicious food, friendly, swift service. Even during COVID they continue to deliver great food. Shaken beef and most any Pho are just a couple of my favorites. Definitely recommend! read more

Very pleased by the pho and service here. While I lamented the lack of some of the truly exotic meat cuts on the menu listing, my server mentioned that tendon was available upon request (just no tripe). I enjoyed their pho dac biet with the addition of a chicken egg that slow cooked in the broth, though I felt that the pho bowls to be had here are smaller than most places I've visited. The salmon spring rolls are an unusual offering one doesn't see often--very delish! The chicken wings tossed in a fishy sauce marinade was also snackalicious. I did crave a 3-flavored ice drink for dessert--but it was unavailable during the winter. The ladies running the store seemed genuinely interested in making my dining experience a good one. read more

Tried this place a couple times, and didn't love it. The first time i tried to explain (what as i know now as the vermicelli veggie dish). I ended up with pho soup. The soup was fine, wasn't great and definitely not what I asked for when I said the cold noodle and veggie salad. When I tried it the second time I ordered the vermicelli veggie dish. I had it before and it was excellent! Here - It was 3/4 vermicelli noodles which are bland, and the veggies were lettuce, sprouts, etc. Veggies with no flavor, so generally the entire dish tasted mostly like water. I poured the sauce over it, and in the past i remember all these flavors of lemon, mint, and a fantastic blend. This was more of a peanut oil. It wasn't awful, the food was okay, but I wouldn't come back a third time after being disappointed twice. read more

They do not pay close attention to the orders. Our orders have NOT been correct multiple times. When we call to notify them - not to get a refund- just to point it out, so that they are more careful they have an ugly attitude. Will never be going back to this rude place. read more

After visiting the doctor for a sore throat a few days ago, I decided Pho was on the list for something to eat and did a quick search of the area to see what my options were. That said, I landed up at Pho Yen Phi. So the place was quiet when I first entered, with no other guests around. I was quickly greeted and sat. The kind waiter was very helpful and patient with my loss of voice, and I quickly had my food ordered and being prepared. After that service was very unobtrusive, with my table only being visited to drop off the food. As for the Pho, for getting the large order it seemed like a normal size for most other Pho joints. I was quickly out of noodles and meat, and the accompaniments seemed a bit sparse compared to most other places. The lack of Cilantro and only one lime wedge was a bit disappointing. The broth was also a bit on the weaker side, though a bit of hoisin sauce and sriracha helped fixed that, and once these sauces had settled in made the broth quite enjoyable. That said, the shining part of the dish here was the meat. It was super tender, cut perfectly thin, and really made the dish wonderful. Overall I contemplated a three star, but the pacient service and the great protein pushed me over to a four star for the joint. Overall I'm willing to give it a second try at some point to see if it holds up to some of my regular stops. read more

I saw this driving home one day and was so excited to find a new pho place as I live in Lewisville there aren't many pho options. I am so glad I stopped by. I ordered the filet and meatball with egg rolls to go. The broth was delicious. The egg rolls were also very tasty. Te only complaint was the amount of meatball I got it was three tiny pieces. Usually a whole meatball is four pieces. Oh well I will be coming back but will dine in next time. read more

I just went for lunch at this place today. The place is horrible. The dishes are not clean at all and the food is very mediocre. Please avoid this place at all costs! read more

Ordered pickup for the vegetarian pho WITH VEGGIE BROTH. Got home and found out they gave us beef broth instead. We're vegetarian and can't have bone broth. I'm calling and calling not even 15 mins since you closed and you're not answering. I have a feeling you just gave us whatever broth you had instead of making a new batch of veggie broth even though we specifically asked for veggie broth. I will be calling again tomorrow morning to get this fixed. But now I have to make some veggie broth at home which completely defeats the purpose of take out. Never ordering from here again & I used to really like coming here. read more

A recent addition to Coppell, and my fiance and I liked it a lot...though we haven't been back and I'm not entirely sure why. The prices are pretty solid and the pho is tasty. The staff was good although we had a little language barrier issue, as I recall (this was now a month or so ago). We'll be back, just have to wait until both of us are in the mood for pho again! read more

Absolutely amazinggggg. Been going here for years and love that I'm supporting a small family owned business their veggie pho and spring rolls are the best! read more

This place has the best Pho hands down! I went on the hunt for Pho when I needed to get rid of a stubborn sinus headache. I was worried that being the only Pho place nearby they might slack on the food. I'm glad I was wrong. The broth was flavorful with the right amount of noodles and chicken. I asked for extra vegetables and received beautiful carrots and baby bok choy in my chicken Pho. The only downside is that this place can get busy. I had to wait for a while to get my lunch. But it was so good I couldn't get mad. When I left I had a clear head and a well satisfied belly. I'll be back even without the sinus headache. read more

I tried this place before & ordered the beef pho & the beef looked like it was purchased from the "managers special" section of the meat section. I decided to give it a second chance...huge mistake, this time I ordered the chicken curry with a coke, the server forgot my coke, the food took forever to come out & when it finally came out, the curry looked more like more grease than curry, the chicken did not look like chicken, it looked like some other animal (rat maybe) . I went to pay & it took for someone in the back (probably killing rat) to come to the front & take my money. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Unfortunately after eating there 3 times, and getting very sick shortly after (all 3 times), I can't recommend this place. Last time the meat that they added with pho had a quite suspicious smell, but I went with it anyway. Service is good though. It's just that the food is not good... read more

This review is for take out only. Pho is always one of my top go to comfort foods. Didn't sleep well last night? I need pho. Hungover? I definitely need pho. Trying to eat healthy? pfft - of course pho. Anyways - you get the point. I was the first customer of the day. The menu is pretty thorough but I will admit, I didn't study every page. I came in knowing I wanted spring rolls and pho with steak and meatballs (substituted egg noodles). I never remember what cut steak it is, but I can't figure out how they cut it so thin! I got the shrimp spring rolls which were vey tightly and expertly rolled. The peanut sauce was decent but not an OMG that is the best ever!!! The pho was very good. The broth was very flavorful and savory. The meatballs... oh the meatballs. Spongy, tasty, and my favorite part of the meal. (do you think they'll judge me if I just order a plate of meatballs?) Tips: - If you order the steak pho, it comes raw in take-out. I personally love this because the meat is very tender after you put it in the broth, but other people may be put off by that. - Make sure if you want soy sauce, chili sauce, sriracha or chili oil, you ask for it. They give you a cup of hoisin with a dash of sriracha but definitely not enough. Thankfully, I keep chili sauce in my desk. Con: - I have just one. There is a very distinct absence of cilantro/culontro in their dishes. I am one of those people that would put cilantro in everything I possibly can, so that is my only complaint. read more

Disappointed in my combo Banh Mi. I don't remember it being like this. The baguette is not fresh. There is a big piece of ham in it now. The BBQ "pork" that is suppose to be in there is not pork but beef. Also, where's the pate and the head cheese? My standard for a combo Banh Mi is high because I am Viet and I prefer my Banh Mi authentic. read more

Ok so this place is just like any other pho places that serve popular Vietnamese dishes, drinks, and others. Pho - delicious, broth is awesome; I always order large but their large is small compare to Bistro B, Pho Que Huong or even I Luv Pho. Ban Mi - do not get it here - I gave them a three and outcome with horrible. Drinks - We order several boba and do not get it here - mixture isn't good. just not good. read more

My partner and I love Pho but we're sorely disappointed with this spot around the corner from our home. My Thai tea tasted like onion but I was too lazy to drive back and say something. The brother was lackluster. I would drive out a little farther to pick up from somewhere else. Yeah read more

I was evaluating Pho Yen Phi to see if they could adequately cater my event. The event involves a lot of walking around, so soup or stew was off the menu. I needed finger food. So bear in mind I did not try their pho! I had salmon spring rolls which were superb - they came from the kitchen with the salmon still hot from the grill! Eat 'em fast, because the salmon cools off fast with the other spring roll ingredients touching it. The lemongrass chicken wings were amazing - huge & meaty! They may have been the best wings I've ever had. Banh mi were decent. Vermicelli & rice dishes up to par. Fried rice was dull, but that's kind of the point of fried rice - it's the "safe dish" when you feel unadventurous. Smoothies were wondrous. read more

The food is delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Ordered the shrimp spring rolls and combo beef pho. The rolls were delicious and fresh. The pho was flavorful with a really tasty broth, great meats and fresh, crisp veggies for adding. The restaurant was not busy and we received prompt and friendly service immediately. I have been for lunch and dinner and have had a similar experience both times. The staff are all friendly and attentive. read more

Good pho, good service . Interior prob needs a little update but overall good place for Vietnamese food and pho .

Glad to find a nice Vietnamese restaurant in Texas during my family Christmas get away trip. Ordered the fried prawn wrapped with egg roll skin and a specialty BBQ mixed bowl with vermicelli. The prawn roll was fried to perfection. Prawns was of modest size but meat was firm and tasty. The specialty BBQ meat bowl was delicious with well marinated and succulent pork, beef, prawn and Vietnamese egg roll. The well balanced sweet and sour sauce added another layer of flavoring to the palette. Definitely a place to revisit if given the time. read more

I ordered the egg rolls and the curry chicken. The egg rolls orders come in 2 and are very small and skinny and no side of veggies. The curry chicken was very greasy and oily. The receipt was also hand written instead of an itemized printed receipt. (For business expense purposes, this is inconvenient.) I would probably not come back here. read more

Food is okay but service is the worst I have ever seen. The employees do not understand the basics of customer service and will do their best to swindle you of your money. For example...I am given the wrong drink and ask for the correct one. Instead of just fixing the understandable mistake, the waiter says "well this is what you ordered" and goes on to say that I am lying. So I ended up paying $20 for a drink and soup instead of $11. A separate time, I asked for a piece of bread. They gave me the bread they use for sandwiches and told me after I get the bill that I will have to pay for my soup and a sandwich is I wanted the bread. Both times, the employees would not take their mistakes off the bill. They tell you that you are lying and that make you forget the mediocre food, but remember the ridiculous scene they make in order to make more money. Not worth the trip nor money. read more

I ordered this evening via the DoorDash app. There were problems from the get go with the delivery...but that is a Door Dash problem and I will deal with them later. I ordered the Shaken Beef, Egg Noodles with Chicken and the Yen Phi Special combo and Vegetable (Wok Rice Flat Noodles Dish). The Shaken was ok and nothing more than that. The Chicken Egg Noodles was flat with NO flavor at all. But the grand puba is mess ups (for me at least!) was the Special combo. 1. The Styrofoam container was cracked on both sides. Not quite sure I can put that on the restaurant or the Dasher so I am putting it on both. 2. On the Doordash description of this item it said it had all the proteins in it (Beef, Chicken, Shrimp, Seafood). I SPECIFICALLY NOTED ON THE ORDER TO NOT ADD ANY SEAFOOD OF ANY KIND AS I AM HIGHLY, SEVERELY ALLERGIC. I even asked them to "PLEASE BE CAREFUL!" They sent the food with a Shrimp on the top, middle and bottom. For those of us with seafood allergies, it's not a matter of just picking the Shrimp out. All of it is contaminated. Out of 100% of the food I ordered, maybe $7 of it was edible. read more

I've been there for several times and the taste is fine. However, their service is awful. I ordered $20 food and we have three people to share for dinner, when I stepped out and wanted to grab other two pairs of chopsticks, the cashed asked me to pay $1 for each of them, which is totally weird! It's my first time to hear people need to pay for their chopsticks! !!!! Will never go there again! read more

Do not order food to go from this place!!! We've placed two orders with them and they were both wrong. We ordered a chicken pho and a meat ball pho. First time they gave me chicken and instead of meatball they gave me raw beef!!!! I drove back and told them what happened and they replaced it after realizing they screwed up but without an apology after I drove through all the traffic on beltline road. Second time I order the same thing thinking I'd give them another try and they did the exact same thing. They gave me raw beef instead of meatball. I cal and tell them that I wasn't going to drive back and for them to just cancel the order. A waiter took the call and said he would take care of it and he apologized. A few minutes later a "manager" calls me back and says she's not going to cancel the order and she said she would come pick up the beef at my home! I told her to come pick it up and to bring me the correct meatball order and she refused to. Was extremely rude and said they would come pick it up later that night. Needles to say my order was never canceled and was charged for food that I didn't eat and it just got thrown away. So unprofessional and rude service! read more
