I will say there's a couple other pho places in the area that have menus a bit more robust, that feel more varied. This feels like if you've had two of their rice dishes, one of their banh mi and one of their noodle soups, you've more or less got the feel of the whole place. That said, if I'm hungry and just need a hit of something familiar and comforting, this is a great option. If I'm hungover, or sick, or having a trash kind of day, and I want something to just get me through or over it, this will always do the trick. I've ordered just quarts of their pho broth before, home sick and trying to get anything at all in me, and been perfectly pleased. I don't think it's THE BEST pho broth I've ever had, but it's really good, and it's consistent. I know exactly what everything I get is going to taste like, it's never too salty one day, too much this or that the next day, oily all of a sudden, any of that. It's good, it's cozy feeling, the people are pleasant, and there's no surprises. That's pretty good eating.

We've been to the watauga location before which is owned by the father. The Carrollton location is owned by the son. It's newer and more modern and bigger than the original location. Got the da chanh which is their limeade. Just like my mama makes it. Their coffee is different too she said. I loved my BBH. It did impress me. The meat was tender.
