Pho Asian Star is a hidden gem! The pho is amazing--rich, flavorful, and just hits the spot. It's a cozy, family-owned spot with great service. If you're looking to take a client this is not the place. I Definitely recommend it if you're craving some delicious, authentic pho!

I'm just not having any luck with Pho restaurants around my area. 2 stars because service was wonderful and food wasn't that bad. My bowl of pho was just warm, not even close to hot. My husband's grilled pork vermicelli had a ton of bean sprouts in it and it was cold . Might as well call it a bean sprout salad. I just can't give it 5 stars because the restaurant is filthy. Roaches crawling around everywhere. Imagine when the lights are off. Friendly service but gotta get the place clean and inspected.

I ordered the Chicken Noodle Soup. The broth was sooooo god and tasty! it really hit the spot on a cold day! While I was eating with my friends, I did notice there were a lot of people coming in for take out. Service was very good. the servers work as a team and serve with a smile. Food came out promptly and the soup noodles came out hot. I will be back!

Pho Asian star more like pho Asian 5 star this place very nice lady who owns the place she always knows my order. This place has not disappointed me once I love pho Asian star so much. If you don't know what to get you should definitely get the number 17 and fried dumplings. Amazing place

It is not surprise, I Pho sure love eating Pho! However that makes me more pickier than the average person when it comes to pho. It's all about the broth! Pho Asian Star nailed it!! It was so delicious and you can tell they cooked it for at least 24 hours. I also love that they have all the different spices at the tables: Chili oil, Siracha and Chili mix Most places I ask for Angry pho but they let me make it to my liking. I recommend this place and would come and eat here agai!

Looking for Asian flavors on Saturday night we checked Yelp and found my friend Richards recommendation for Asian Star and decided to pop in Unpretentious location on south bound lanes of I35 in a strip mall your are greeted as soon as you arrive We found a table and went thru the simple menu, we were hungry and decided to sample several things. We started with shrimp rolls - they were delicious with large size shrimp, rice wrapper was soft and fresh and of course it came with a yummy peanut sauce 5 Beef Pad Thai, very delicate noodles , nice size portion and not saturated in peanut nut sauce as other places will do it where your not able to taste the other ingredients 5 Chicken Pho , nice portion with plenty of fresh ingredients to add flavor but honestly even after adding all ingredients the broth seemed lacking in flavor 3 Chicken and Tofu platter with white rice 3.5. Good flavors, chicken was thigh meat which is my favorite but felt more chicken would have been better Overall, nice business..friendly and fresh food.. worth the visit

Our soup wasn't warm when we got home. The food is good, but not the quality I was looking for with the price.

Tonight was the night didn't wanna cook and walked in place was nice clean and staff was friendly. Not alot of people my server was really nice and hospitable. I asked about the spring rolls and he asked if I had ever tried them I said yes the shrimp never beef. He said the beer were very good I told him bring me an order of beef spring rolls and the pork and shrimp vermicelli. Took about 5 min and my food came out it looked very appealing to the eye. Tried the spring rolls with the peanut sauce and o practically picked the peanut sauce bowl! Vermicelli was nice and looked so fresh! Put the sauce over it and dug in. When I say this was hood its an understatement I drank the sauce at the bottom of the bowl thats how much h I liked it! The place was pretty dead which I didn't mind their menu looked freaked good ill have to come back and try some other dishes! I couldnt finish anything other than egg rolls and that was only because i stopped dipping them in the wierd sauce that looked like water with oil floating on top. The sandwhich was disgusting and i only took 3 bites. The bread was very tough and stale like it sat out for a few days. The meat was very gritty. Every bite was like vinegar soaked sand. The Chicken Spring roll was just as bad. Meat so tough i could hardly chew it. The veggies inside had old brown spots and didnt look fresh at all. I ended up throwing nearly all of it away. I just moved to the area and was hoping to find some great places to eat. I wont be ordering from here ever again.

Once you step in this restaurant, you know you're in for good Vietnamese food (never mind the awards outside!) The staff was nice and answered our questions - but now the food: Bun cha gio thit nuong - chargilled pork and deep fried shallots were a solid touch - though I think I would've enjoyed seared shallots more. There was plenty of flavor in the meat juice imbueing the dish, fresh vegetables tasted like spring breeze and sweetened fish sauce tied everything together like ka-pow. Shaking tenderloin - the butterfly pea flour rice was purple (a fun gimmick) and woof, the marinated beef tenderloin was a huge success. I really enjoyed how tender and juicy the meat was - I kept chewing to savor the flavor for some time. Cha gio chat - these were served fresh out of the fryer and came in piping hot. Great crispy spring rolls with a good size and nice vegetables

Welcoming was warm and attentive, very quick with service. The menu was through a QR code, which is awesome but for more accessibility for maybe those who don't own a phone or have a hard time navigating to get a clearer glance of the menu maybe a short and simple menu to have on the table would of been just great. The ambience was so pretty, I felt like I was in a different city. I got the chicken spring rolls- best top spring rolls I've had. The beef pho-which I can see where the hype is about since I didn't use much hoision sauce or hot sauce. That's a first for me, since I've learned recently that in (Vietnamese tradition) it isnt respectful to put too much extra sauce or seasoning into the pho presented. I will say the meat had a bit more fat than I like. To top it off I ordered the green Thai tea, which has more of a perfume flavor but very settle. The classic yellow one is more milky so if you're someone who enjoys tea drinks you should give it a go!
