Shaking beef
Amy W.

I just moved to Coppell and joined one of those Facebook groups that organizes local lunches, and this was my very first meetup. There were about 35 of us, which could have easily overwhelmed a restaurant. Instead, this place handled it like total pros, all while continuing to take care of their regular lunch crowd at the same time. Before arriving, I had already studied the menu and decided on the shaking beef lunch special. I was feeling pretty confident in my choice. Then, right after I ordered, the head of our group introduced the chef and mentioned that she makes all of her noodles - FRESH - in house. Suddenly I realized that noodles are clearly the star here, and I will absolutely be back to try them next time. The menu is extensive in the best way. There is something for everyone, whether you are craving something comforting, adventurous, or somewhere in between. It is the kind of place where you already know you will need multiple visits to even make a dent. What really stood out, beyond the food, was how smoothly everything ran. A group our size during lunch (and nearly everyone an individual check!!) could have slowed things down or caused chaos, but service stayed friendly, organized, and impressively efficient the entire time. I love supporting a local spot like this, especially one where the chef is clearly bringing real passion and skill to the table. Coppell is lucky to have this kind of talent, and I am already looking forward to going back and doing it right with a big bowl of those house made noodles.

Looks like I came here over 7 years ago, but new management is in place it appears. The decor has been updated and so has the food. A little interesting to see some of the other reviews, I think it is pretty solid for coppell at least. Large pho comes in the stone bowl and that keeps your soup freakinnnnn hot!!! Something that I enjoy for sure. Caution you will burn your mouth if you don't cool it down a little. I got pho tai bo vien, broth was solid, maybe masked by the hot temp, and the fact that I like my food saltier. My only complaint was on the noodles, they maybe fresh, a little wider and slippery compared to most pho places. We are so used to frozen / rehydrated noodles, we don't know different ha! This place is a good quick fix if you are in coppell!

Haven't been in here in a few years so I thought I would swing back. I was so pleasantly surprised to see that it is under new management for the past year and newly renovated. The menu is refreshed and feels modern as well. The food is fantastic! The family that owns it is also very friendly, happy and accommodating. Since it's in a small strip mall, it may be easy to miss from the outside but it is well worth the search to find. Come experience the NEW Pho Yen Phi in Coppell, TX.

After reading some positive recent reviews with the new owner, thought I would come back with my son and try again. Have to say, the plate setting was nice where you can make your own. And the soup with the stone bowl was definitely hot the whole time. Definitely more of a winter meal as I was sweating just trying to eat it. So for the pho, the soup was decent, but seemed to lack any of the beef bone flavor expected. Was good, just lack that distinctive pho flavor. All others are ok, but the pho noodle??? I read that they may have made their own noodles, but not sure. As you see in picture, it is a bit wider than typical pho noodles. Either way, my son and I didn't particularly care for it as it tasted overcooked as it was falling apart once you mix in with the soup. It didn't have that springiness of a freshly made noodles, so not sure why this type is used. Service was good as one of the lady came and helped set up the noodles and proceed to help me put some of the ingredients into the soup. Bottom line is that for a soup of $16, I expected little better. It's not terribly expensive but Pho 1 and Pho Empire are still my 2 favorites in this area.

The Bahn is fantastic, best bread I have found. They must have a new baker ! #74 bbq pork to go. I always wish I had ordered TWO

Good service, newly remodeled, great value for the price. The ambiance.... low key background music. They have a flavored tea bar... but no bean tapioca coconut with gummy bears pudding for desert ???85 character minimum to post a review ?

Shrimp wraps m

An Absolute Hidden Gem! Pho lovers! If you're looking for a culinary experience that warms the soul and delights the palate, this place is it. I ordered the Combination Beef Pho, shrimp wraps, and Vietnamese coffee--and every bite was unforgettable. The pho was hands down the best I've ever had. The broth was rich, silky, and bursting with deep, layered flavors that only come from time, care, and authentic preparation. The tender cuts of beef melted in my mouth, and the fresh herbs brought everything together perfectly. The shrimp wraps were fresh, flavorful, and ready to eat.And the Vietnamese coffee? Smooth, bold, and exactly what I needed to round out the meal. This spot is truly a hidden gem--unassuming on the outside, but a treasure inside. I'll definitely be coming back regularly. Highly recommend!

Took my family to try pho for the first time and we had an amazing meal! It's family owned with attentive and sweet staff, they recently renovated and the upgrade is very modern and homey!:) the menu is super cute and trendy, giving studio ghibili vibes! the mother who owns the restaurant now makes the noodles by hand every morning and they are delicious! the broth has massively improved especially in there special new stone bowls. on top of everything the playlist they have selected is very up to date with trending songs. overall 10/10 this is our new favorite pho place!!

Great beef pho and they package it to-go so that it's still piping hot when you get home. The guys who work there are very friendly.

Soup is not hot, small bowl is for kid don't call small if you're an adult. Not enough meat and noodle compared to other pho restaurants.

I ordered a soup and the meat was yellow and tasted funny. And when I told the server he said it was ok. That's the way they do it.

I got a delivery order so i cant speak to the atmosphere or service…read more I got Chicken Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls, and Combination Sandwhich. I couldnt finish anything other than egg rolls and that was only because i stopped dipping them in the wierd sauce that looked like water with oil floating on top. The sandwhich was disgusting and i only took 3 bites. The bread was very tough and stale like it sat out for a few days. The meat was very gritty. Every bite was like vinegar soaked sand. The Chicken Spring roll was just as bad. Meat so tough i could hardly chew it. The veggies inside had old brown spots and didnt look fresh at all. I ended up throwing nearly all of it away. I just moved to the area and was hoping to find some great places to eat. I wont be ordering from here ever again.

I asked about the spring rolls and he asked if I had ever tried them I said yes the shrimp never beef. He said the beer were very good I told him bring me an order of beef spring rolls and the pork and shrimp vermicelli. Took about 5 min and my food came out it looked very appealing to the eye. Tried the spring rolls with the peanut sauce and o practically picked the peanut sauce bowl! Vermicelli was nice and looked so fresh! Put the sauce over it and dug in. When I say this was hood its an understatement I drank the sauce at the bottom of the bowl thats how much h I liked it!
