Was on the way to get some Firehouse subs and gave this place a try instead. I saw they had a bowl special on Wednesday so I got those drunken noodles. It was good, some of the noodles were a little hard but it was still a good meal. I got the chicken. It was supper flavorful and the sauce they used is very good. I will also say it's a lot of carrots in there as well. The service was good even though I got take out. I wanna go again, it has a nice bar in there and also has a great variety on that menu. Def go check them out.

Very very well marinated. Flavors pull through. Strong hint of fish sauce but not too overpowering (but I grew up on fish sauce so...). The difference in the cook from different chef does matter. First time: blown away by how heavily the marinated steak taste. However, the sauce drizzled over the rice was too overwhelming. I needed bland rice to have a more balanced taste. I didn't have nuts the first time. And man, the jalapeño pesto was banging fire. Honestly, the pad Thai was a bit of a twist. It has that Thai flavor but heavily influenced by the fish sauce. Some may like it. Some may not. Second time: a little bit less marinated flavor going through but the rice added that balanced blandness. If both chef combined their works, I'd say great deal. Margaritas are also average but price is great as well. This is my to go spot since moving here.

I was excited to try this place, but I was a bit disappointed with all the hype that it received. Best Meatball Sandwich in America? Oof..I would beg to differ. Our meatball sandwich looked nothing like the picture. At best 3.5/5. Overly saucey for a banh mi and I love sauce. Spicy Green Coconut Curry 2.5/5 Banh Fire Bowl 4/5 An interesting mix of Vietnamese, Thai and Indian flavors. There is only full service at the bar. Otherwise you order and seat yourself. It's similar to Chipotle style.

Noodles is alright. Sandwich eh. Don't think I'll come again. If you're looking for traditional flavors, you won't find it here. Over all nice place clean

This place is pretty good, don't let the casual atmosphere fool ya! Just about everyday there is some kind of food special going on. I highly suggest for ya to check it out for lunch or dinner. Their Happy Hour isn't bad at either, you won't be disappointed.

What a great experience. The drunken noodles were SOO fire!! Actually loved the Pina colada and the fried rice as well as the appetizer we ordered. They have a great little bar area that we plan to sit in next time , and really dig the service. Extra 5 stars for Anthony , our server

BANH "FIRE" BOWL carrots, bean sprouts, red onions, scallions, cilantro, spicy tamarind sauce, peanuts, jalapeño pesto, and sour cream

Eaten here twice. First time had the Grilled Steak Baguette and the second time had the Bahn "Fire" Bowl. Both were really good if not quite totally "authentic"... maybe? I guess it was the jalapeño pesto and tamarind sauce on the fire bowl that threw me a bit. It was feeling a bit more "Chipotle" than past Vietnamese dishes I've had. Not a bad thing... just different. But then I guess it is advertised as "Asian Street Food". Atmosphere is great. Table service was a nice touch and very attentive.

The workers were friendly I'll give them that, but the food was terrible. Super skimp on meat on meat and they charge extra for ingredients that already should be on the sandwich. By far the worst banh mi I've had

I had the pork belly Banh mi sandwich with patê and fried egg. It was one of the best Banh mi sandwiches I've ever had. All ingredients were fresh and bursting with flavor. It came served with very freshly made seasoned potato chips. The interior of the restaurant was upscale and clean, and the location on MacArthur is close to my office. I sat at the bar and enjoyed watching a football game while eating. The service was friendly, super fast to receive the food, and attentive checking on me often but not overbearing. Price was appropriate. I will definitely be back soon!

Food is delicious. I also had a banana colada and it was also good. The bahn fire bowl was recommended to me and it was sooo good and flavorful. The pork belly bites are a must. Service is great. I was the only one in so the attention was all for me which was nice. It's a nice restaurant. I hope it does well.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon after shopping with my sister and the kiddos! Eric was working and took care of us, he was so nice. We had the pork dumplings summer rolls and the lettuce wraps! The lettuce wraps were so good!! Ordered 2 banhs to go one chicken coconut and the grilled pork both were so so good! He also gave us jalapeño pesto so fire yall! We will be back for sure! :)

When we walked in, the hostess had a poor attitude and was off putting. Unfriendly and borderline rude. We made sure to get there as soon as they opened because we knew it would be dead, and we'd have better luck at quicker service. Unfortunately, they sat us outside because we had our ESA animal in an enclosed carrier after grilling us about what services he performs, and I believe we were forgotten about since we were the only ones on the porch. It was a very warm day with high humidity. I asked the hostess if she could make sure the fans were on since it was so hot, and she asked, "So, you want me to turn them off?" We only ordered two apps of Roti Canai, one order of the twice friend wings, and an order or the donuts (all were ordered at once to help speed things along since it was so hot outside.) It took quite a while, and the wings came out soggy and cold, which is not the norm. A thunderstorm was coming in, and we had been waiting on our donuts for at least 20 minutes at this point. My husband informed the hostess that we would have to either cancel the order or move inside since it was about to start raining. She flippantly said that she would have to ask the manager first if we were allowed inside. We were so turned off that it really ruined the experience, and it was not the way we wanted to celebrate Mother's Day. The donuts finally came out (also cold), and I had my husband just give her the credit card without the check so we could hurry up and get off the porch before it started coming down. We rushed through the dessert and left. Not loving our experience and not sure if we'll be back until the attitude and service changes. We're bummed because we were always a fan of this place until now.

Ambiance- 9.5/10 Dim atmosphere with trendy vibes. Cool decor and Jenga to play while waiting for your food. If you don't like dark areas, you can sit outside with umbrellas providing shade. Service- 10/10 Our server was extremely helpful and nice. She recommended excellent dishes and even gave us a plate of chicken wings on the house! Value- 8/10 Good value, especially considering the quality of the food. Most sides were 5-10$, while the entrees were 12-16$. Portions were medium. Food Malaysian Roti- (2 pc, 9.5$)- 9.5/10 Was perfectly flaky and crispy. Came with a flavorful curry dipping sauce. Chili Garlic Edamame- (8$)- 7/10 Everything you would expect. However, it could have more of the chili garlic sauce. They do give you a complementary tray of spicy sauces (including chili oil), so this was not a big deal. Korean Twice Fried Wings- (5 for 14$)- 10/10 Wings were large, so one was the perfect appetizer for a single person. Coated in a heavenly gochujang garlic glaze. Nice and saucy while still being very crispy and juicy. Was my favorite dish we ordered. Pad Thai- (16.5$)- 8.5/10 Came with a fried egg, shrimp, and chicken. Had a hint of spice that elevated it from good to great. Curry Laksa Ramen- (16$)- 9/10 Very flavorful curry broth. Noodles were excellent and also came with tofu and a boiled egg. Overall, every aspect of the resturant was top tier. Would 100% recommend if you are near.
