We ordered the shrimp fried rice, the spring rolls, shrimp egg noodle and veggies, the beef pho and the veggie pho. The service was great, the food was out quick, and the portions were filling! The worst part of our experience here was that we were in a rush to get to the next spot so we didn't get take the time we needed to finish it all! Called to make a take out order as I was nearby. Ordered some spring rolls and a banh mi. Taste? Both were excellent in terms of taste. The portion sizes were quite small for the price. The spring rolls were quite tiny, definitely not the size I'm used to. The Banh Mi was yummy just lacked a lot of filling. It was a lot more bread than anything. This place just opened up and had to try the signature dish, Pho. I got my regular: Pho with tendon and flank. Food is okay in my standards, which is really high when it comes to Asian food. This is a place I would come if I have tight schedule and need to grab something quick. They are very qucikIf I was looking for really good Pho then this is not a place I come. Simply because the broth is too sweet. However, the customer service is really and make you feel welcomed. Restroom is clean which is important to me. They give you large portion for condiments which I really appreciate. There are lots of parking. Came back again to try out their Beef Tenderloin with rice. This place have a few tasty items but still have lots of room for improvement. We ordered the seafood noodles it tasted good but the portion is like for kids. I ordered a large rare beef pho and the beef are already over cooked. It doesn't seem like a large too me at all. We ordered drink and it didn't come out until we are 90% done. Don't go here if you value cleanliness and decency. No masks. Tables weren't cleaned after customers left and neither were the bottles for sauces, if you care about that. I'm a pho fan. Pho is either good or great. At Pho Vy, I found the rare beef Pho to be great. The broth - hot, fragrant, delicious. It comes with a generous amount of rare beef, noodles and all the other accoutrements that enhance the Pho experience. Also - the cleanliness rating as posted on the outside of the restaurant is 'excellent'. I've walked up to two other Pho places in Covington with the intention of trying them but one had a rating of 'good' and the other 'ok' - so I walked away. Pho Vy gets my business. I would try the other food, I'm sure it's all delicious as the other reviews state...but every time I go there, I keep getting the same thing: rare beef pho. read more

I've gotten take out phos from this place a couple of times, it's a pretty good value for what it is. Well packaged, meats are tender and bean sprouts are fresh, soup is a bit on the sweet side like most pho places in the area. My new favorite pho restaurant and it's just down the street from my house. The restaurant is impeccably clean. The service is great. The pho is bomb and reasonably priced. Pho Dac Biet: Toppings were complete (includes sawtooth) and plentiful. Broth was watery and hardly seasoned, almost tasted like an unsalted beef broth without the typical pho spices. Meats were anemic and sliced razor thin. The weight of the noodles would pull apart the rare steak as you tried to pick them up. Because some of the cuts were so thin, a lot of the meats were left tough due to overcooking. Micro bits of tendon. Noodles were decent with a bit of snap left. General disappointment. Ham & Pate Banh Mi: 12" french baguette was typical, not bad, but unmemorable. Pickled vegetables, cilantro, jalapeno slices were sparse. Pate was more like a loose oily flavorless gravy. Meat was 2 thin slices of cha lua laid in single file across the baguette. The sandwich was more like a loaf of bread with banh mi seasonings than an actual sandwich. Offensive disappointment. It's bad enough that I would choose to go somewhere else if I could eat here free. read more

A cold evening almost screams for comfort foods or soup, so last night we headed out looking for pho. We have a couple regular spots we go, but last night we were interested in trying Pho Vy which took the spot of one of our old favorites Bom Bistro. We were immediately greeted and seated by a young server, we assumed to be related to the owner. He was very polite and attentive, something quite a few seasoned and soured servers in the industry could learn from. Our food came out pretty quick from the kitchen, both of us ordered pho with rare beef and well done brisket. It was great and served at just the right temperature, hot yet edible! The restaurant was clean and inviting as well. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because the bubble tea didn't arrive until we were almost done with our food, but we'll definitely be back! This is probably one of the best Vietnamese shops in the Kent area that I really enjoyed. I ordered their bun bo hue & was completely satisfied. Our new favorite Pho place! We ordered 2 Pho tai & fried egg rolls. We had our kids with us and the waitress automatically brought extra bowls for them without us asking. We asked for the steak to be on the side, it read lined along the rim of the bowl, thought it would be in a separate small plate like other Pho places. The down side of this way is some of the meat is well done by the time it gets to the table. Wasn't the end of the world but would be nice if it would have been separated. The egg rolls came after our Pho came out, it didn't come with the traditional fish sauce for dipping, instead it was closer to a Thai chili sweet & sour sauce. Still tasty, just not expected. I saw this place had just opened in the Lake Meridian shopping center next to Trader Joe's. The other local pho options can be underwhelming, so we figured we would drop in and give the place a try, and I have to say we weren't disappointed. Some pho restaurants have a hole in the wall feel, but this place was clean, shiny and cozy. I was greet almost immediately upon walking in, and found the service to be attentive and inviting without being over-bearing. The pho though was delicious. A I find a lot of pho to be too sweet or bland and watered down, but I found theirs to be full and flavorful. The noodles were flavorful, and the meat was nice and tender. Grabbed some chicken teriyaki to go on my way out just so I would have sometime for lunch the next day. If you are disappointed with other local options, give this place a try.
