Good viet food for the desert! Got the rice plate with pork chop and grilled pork banh mi. Portions are huge. Prices are fair. Parking is good. The only downside was ac wasn't working well the day I went in. But still def worth giving a try! read more

Took my friend here after he partied hard. Nothing like a hot pho to bring you back to life. We were seated immediately and our server was very efficient. She took our order and our food came rather quickly. We ordered the small pho with shrimp and a small pho with briskets. The soup was very hot and tasted good. There is no comparison like little Saigon in OC but for the desert, it's not bad. I'll be back to try the other items on the menu. read more

What a disappointing meal. I've been here several times. This time was a bad experience. This time the broth tasty like warm water with a hint of cinnamon. Disgusting! We asked if there's a new people in the kitchen. She said one guy is back. Well. I said this broth is horrible. She said she would tell them. Then she went to sit down at the cashier area. So that didn't help. They charged us for the horrible meal that I didn't eat. The customer behind me said. Thank you bringing this up. Since there food was bad also. Get it together peeps! read more

I have been here many time over the last couple of years and every experience has been great. The food, service, and experience were great every time and I really can't give the whole place any higher praise. read more

Horrible Horrible! if I can give them no stars I will food is really good customer service sucks,!! I understand the language Barrier but please, if you have a restaurant get some one capable of communicating, you're losing money on top of the language barrier. The attitude it's offensive. read more

Moved to the desert from LA and was afraid we'd never find Vietnamese food (my fav) but TG we found this gem, they are hands down the best Vietnamese food in the desert! We come here all the time. Super fresh, super fast, the friendliest staff. They get busy in the winter but always have seating! The pho is soooooo good, the flavor is amazing! Regarding peoples "grungy inside" comments..it's not a fancy restaurant, it adds to the vibe!! Most Vietnamese and Asian restaurants have this vibe. I personally love it and it always feels clean even if it's not a fancy place! read more

So yummy, and such good service! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the shrimp vermicelli was so unbelievably delicious, and the Thai ice tea was so earthy and lovely. My friend got the pho and said the broth was unbelievable. The seats were worn out a bit, but in a way that I found inviting and good. read more

We are so thankful we found Pho Vu! We are moving from GG/Anaheim area to Palm Springs, and we were pretty bummed thinking we wouldn't find a great spot like what we are used to. Honestly, here, their food is on a whole other level than I've ever had before. The amount of flavor each dish has. Pictured, my husband had the lemongrass chicken plate I believe is what it was. Presentation is nice. I had the pho tai (rare beef). Delicious. Their egg rolls are delicious as well. Definitely give them a try. They have a vast menu and it seems everything may just be mouth watering. We'll keep y'all updated read more

Pho Vu - Vietnamese Near Me - Palm Desert, California

Ordered the pho dac biet and bun bo hue. The broth for the pho was really good and actually comparable to what you would find elsewhere. The noodles itself were overcooked and way too soft for my liking. The bun bo hue had good flavor and was decent. The broth itself needed to be strained more though since I kept eating little bits of stuff in the broth that didn't need to be there. Again, noodles were overcooked and way too soft. The service here was really great though! They were very attentive and accommodating with our group, and even split the check multiple ways for our table. Overall, this restaurant had decent food especially for the area. read more

Not the friendliest server but then sadly to say not a lot of true Asian restaurants ace the smile of your face test I ordered Pho, I wanted a large w less noodle ...some meat and meatballs, the server was quick to tell me 'em meatballs cost more $. I told him it's fine, I appreciate the head up but would like less less less noodle, more bean sprout and onion (I should order bean sprout and broth ) the order came w abundance of noodle ...not a lot of meat but the meatballs extra was really yummilicious. The broth was good. Will be back for Pho but I might need to emphasize less noodles. It would've been a 3 but my to-goes save 'em extra star. The rice dish came w abundance of pork chops and two eggs (yay to extra fried egg!) the pork chop season was not that great but their accompanied fish sauce was legit. I had the other one that people eats w bread but I ordered w noodle instead but that was not impressive so I forgot to take photo. Best dish? Their fried wings! They were amazing!!! How amazing? I ordered a patch, taste one and decide to order an extra for to-go Will be back for 'em wings too but would also like a smile or two along w my order next time? read more

Pho Vu - The rice order - Vietnamese Near Me - Palm Desert, California

I'm from the Bay Area and have lots of Vietnamese food experience. Came here to satisfy my pho fix. Ordered the combination #11 small. Meager meat offering in a salty broth. The redeeming factor is there were lots of rice noodles. Service is on point when you can get the dude's attention. Otherwise very average. read more

Always hit the right spot! I always order the same dishes and Food is always good. The egg rolls and flank steak Pho is what I always order.

I like Pho Vù. Their food is welcome into an area that is ripe with fast food and Mexican food, which I love BTW. Normally I get an appetizer. Today I decided to get a noodle dish. I went for the BBQ and egg rolls. My god....do we have to have such LARGE plates of food??? I couldn't finish even half of my lunch. Give me a small plate and lower the price by a couple of bucks. My sons entre' was the Filet mignon. He managed to eat ALL of his. He said the same thing I say, the Pho is the best. I have a suggestion. When the employees are in the dining room area, please lower your voice. The constant loud chatter between 2 employees was disturbing. read more

Such a shame that the food is excellent, but the service is quite subpar. I came here with a large party, and at the end of our meal, the check arrived with an automatic tip, understandable, but it was calculated after tax instead of before, which made a noticeable difference since the subtotal was quite large. I asked the server to remove the automatic tip so I could write my own, but when they checked with a man in a Gucci shirt, he looked at me and insisted the tip is supposed to be before tax. Bunch of crap, I pulled out my phone and did the math right there, yet he still seemed skeptical. It took me asking three times before they finally refunded the charge so I could write my own tip. The tip went from 18% to 15%. It would have been 18% and taken 5 minutes if he hadn't lied to my face, instead, it took 15. If a customer asks to change the tip, ask why then change the tip instead of trying to argue with the customer. read more

I was looking forward to having the Bun (chicken bq) vermicelli cold noodles. It arrived, not sure what week the chicken was made, it was dry and tasteless. I really should have sent it back to the kitchen..what a disappointment. The service wasn't much better, not sure how they stay in business with such awful food. read more

I love coming to Pho Vu! This is probably the most authentic Vietnamese food restaurant in all of the Coachella valley. I'm a huge fan of #58 which is really more Chinese than Vietnamese. But it's definitely a favorite. The sandwiches are excellent here with lots of goodies inside. read more

First time coming here, really disappointed! Food wise taste not bad! But SERVICE WAS REALLY BAD!! I FOUND an INSECT inside my food! Server didn't apologized at all! I told them about it and he went back to the kitchen and changed it real fast, not sure if he gave me a new one or just threw away the insect. The second issue is I asked in advance if I could have the spring rolls without pork as I'm a pescatarian and he told me no as it was pre made but he said I could do it with the spring roll. I got the spring rolls and he still gave me pork on it! I told the other sever about what happened and he DIDN'T APOLOGIZE TOO!! He said the insect was only on one side! WTF?!!! If I could give 0 star I would! Really disappointing! read more

It's not the best nor the most fairly priced Vietnamese food. But you can't complain when there isn't much competition in the area. So i will visit when i am craving some pho. The pho is salty and overpriced, yes. My thing is if I come in at 8:20 and they close at 9, how are they gonna turn us away? read more

Great food! Pho is ! Everyone was nice. Bryan was nice and very attentive. Definitely coming back when I'm around the valley.

I suppose coming to Palm Desert and expecting good vietnamese pho is not a smart bet. One of the local nail salon employees in Cat City recommended this establishment. Since he was originally from Vietnam, I assumed his tastes were authentic. I was underwhelmed. Compared to other California cites, such as Westminster, San Francisco or Monterey Park don't expect the same quality, freshness or variety in Palm Desert. In a pinch, it will suffice, but hopefully your pho fetish can wait. read more

Amazing Pho, we remembered this spot from our last visit to Palm Springs and really wanted to go back. Space so glad we did because the food is just as good as we remembered it. We generally order takeout and they give you all the fixings in separate containers so you can assemble the pho. yourself. read more

If you're a true Vietnamese you will be very disappointed here. My pork chop wasn't even edible, it was dry and hard. Everything we ordered was not good. The cooks in the back couldn't stop arguing with each other, it was very loud. Stay away here read more

The food and the service were both excellent. Absolutely no qualms about any of that at all. Those are what we go to restaurants for anyway, right? There was one aspect, however, with which I would take issue, and that was the cleanliness. The floor, the table, and the chair all had sticky spots where I stepped or touched. This indicated to me that they do not necessarily do the best job in cleaning up between parties. read more

Amazing phô broth! The best I've had! Fresh condiments. Feels like a warm hug! Especially when you're not feeling well or on a cold day!

awful. Taste less blah bad! I think the people that think this place is great. I've obviously never had good Pho and fresh spring rolls in LA. Meh kind of rude too! read more

This place is filthy! Flooring under booths are just nasty! The napkin dispensers and condiment bottles haven't been cleaned. If their kitchen is as dirty as the booths the health department would shut them down. Not going back. read more

Our go to pho spot in the desert. Food is always great. Customer service is fair with reasonable prices

Would not come to this location again. The service was awful! The server was so lazy. When we asked him for an avocado boba drinks with our meals he said there wasn't any avocados. Yet the whole time while we were eating several people ordered their avocado smoothies. When we told him about it he responded. "Oh well" He was so rude and would touch dirty plates and then grab plates and cup with his dirty hands. read more

Decided to come here with my pregnant wife while we were on a family vacation. Coming from the Bay Area, we had our expectations high for Pho. My wife ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls and the egg roll vermicelli bowl. I ordered the house combination fried rice and a coconut drink. The spring rolls were OK. The pork was tough and the peanut sauce was bland but the spring roll tasted fresh and clean which is great! If we were to come again we would probably skip on the spring rolls. My wife loves her vermicelli bowl! The egg rolls were delicious. When the plate came out we had to let it sit for a moment because the egg rolls were still piping hot! Once the egg rolls cooled down my wife tried it with the fish sauce and noodles and said it was delicious! 5/5 would recommend. My house special fried rice was delicious as well! I love a home style cooked fried rice and I have to say this place does a great job with theirs. The fried rice reminded me of fried rice my mom would make for me growing up. Great portion, a good amount of shrimp too! Coconut drink was great. Refreshing. It's a toss up whether it's worth 4$. All in all, great experience all around. Wife left with a full stomach and we were in and out of there within 35 minutes without feeling rushed at all. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely come back. read more

This is the most incredible Pho restaurant I've ever been to. My wife went for dinner she order chicken wings, I order Pho soup. Her dish came within 8 minutes, my Pho Soup took every bit of 20 minutes. Don't they we Americans like to have our meals served at the same time. read more

Definitely a zero star. Found a piece of wipe in my moms side vegetables. It was so gross! I lost my appetite and didn't even eat the rest of my pho. Never going back there ever again. Service was 3/10. Food 1/10. Soup doesn't taste good. Save your $$$ and head the other way. The other guy handled the situation really bad. He was insisting that we were the ones who put the napkin in the soup. Didn't even apologize. read more

Service is good and fast. Can't go wrong with Pho Vu! I get the #19 or the BBQ vermicelli bowl and am satisfied each time.

Really disappointed with the take out service. They did not get my order correct. I asked for a #23 pho and recieved a #12 pho plus no utensils. I'd give a zero star if I could for order accuracy. read more

We were greeted by a friendly young woman who seated us right away. Everything went downhill from there. The waitstaff ignored us for a long time while they were having what must have been a very entertaining conversation. The server that eventually took our order barely spoke to us, not even a thank you when we paid and left. The food couldn't have been made to order. It arrived at our table almost immediately after we order it. It was Luke warm at best and the meats were dry, tough and lacking flavor. None of which really tasted very Vietnamese. I'd like to chalk it up to a bad night, we all have them. But it really didn't seem like they cared. read more
