Solid bowl of pho. Broth is hearty and soothing perfect for festival recovery. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Friendly staff and clean restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm so glad they are here.

    Grilled pork banh mi

Great place for Vietnamese food. I got the grilled pork banh mi and tried the combo pho and it was very delicious. The banh mi was nicely flavored. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior was clean and spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was fast and reliable.

    #16 Chicken Pho
    Roshan R.

I tried the Chicken Pho (#16) and Egg Rolls (#5). The pho was warm and comforting, though the chicken in it tasted reheated and slightly stale. The egg rolls were crispy and came with a decent portion of side salad. Service was quick, which was a plus. [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, the floors and tables were a bit sticky, and the condiments--like the Sriracha bottle--had noticeable buildup, which was off-putting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A little more attention to cleanliness would have made the experience much better and would have been a solid 4-star visit.

This is not exactly what I wanted to see when I'm about to eat my food, it is so gross, I wonder what else they did not wash !!! So gross!!!

Beef and shrimp over egg noodles

I have to remove a few stars to tonight's meal. Both dishes with rice vermicelli (Spring rolls and chicken vermicelli bowl) had pieces of uncooked noodles, so hard I almost broke my teeth!! Shrimp spring rolls were bland, like missing all the fresh herbs like cilantro, mint, basil - was bad...uncooked rice noodles throughout the rolls I had to pick out or crack my teeth. Chicken in bahn mi and vermicelli bowl was flavorful and good, but the bowl was just missing fresh herbs. Service is fine, I feel everyone there is bored with lack of enthusiasm, no big deal. When I told the server about the uncooked vermicelli, she didn't even care and probably didn't even tell the kitchen. Another less star for all the reports of roaches, if I saw that, we wouldn't even have come here - just gross.

    Bun bo hue

Wasn't expecting to find Vietnamese food out in the desert so I was excited to try Pho Vu, which seems quite popular. The space is large with the ability to connect tables, making it good for groups. They also have a decent selection of food such as pho, banh xeo, egg rolls, and bun bo hue. My bun bo hue was pretty good; it didn't come with all the toppings I'm used to and wasn't as sour/spicy as other spots, but it was still tasty. What I liked the most about this spot was the service. Waiters were friendly, funny, and helpful; one waiter let my friend order something off menu so that she could get the toppings she likes.

    Pho :)

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Food, service and ambiance were great!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will definitely come back here again next Coachella festival :)

The food was so good and well served, we finished everything. The Chicken Pho the broth was rich, and the house fried rice was amazing. The service was ok and took a bit longer to get menus and take an order but the wait was worth it and we were hungry. The Ambiance is ok, nothing fancy, great for a group dinner or family gathering. Have a free parking lot. Recommended it for a good PHO.

(mind y'all that I'm from Garden Grove so I'm in the Mecca of all the pho spots!) I got pho with Filet Mignon Brisket!! OOOO weee! Yummy in my tummy. The broth flavor was beefy and soothing for my soul! And the meat was tender and flavorful! I also got the Cafe Sua Da, which was strong!! My gf also got the Bun Bo Hue, which was bomb and authentic as well. I highly recommend this Vietnamese joint! The husband/wife owners were super sweet and accommodating! As soon as my friends and I walked in, we were warmly greeted by both the staff and the owners. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. Even though it was an extremely hot day, I was craving pho and ordered the Pho Đặc Biệt--and it definitely hit the spot. We came in with a large group of 17 people, and our server was patient, organized, and made sure everyone's order was taken correctly. The most impressive part was how quickly all of our food came out despite the size of our party. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service made the experience even better. I can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu!

I was so incredibly impressed with Da Chef Noodle, I felt actually giddy joy when discovering it existed and then even more excited once I learned the food is as good as you think it is going to be when you walk in. Staff was low key but kind and helpful. I popped in on accident one night when I was in the area and have ordered several times since. My first fortune cookie read: You are in the right place for something unforgettable. And boy, were they right! The roast pork was sweet, tangy balanced perfect with salty. The walnut shrimp might be the best I've ever had and I've lived all over the world. Typing this now, I can't wait to go back. I'm new out here to the valley and didn't expect to find such incredibly delicious Chinese food. So grateful for this find!

I've been several times, the first time about 3 weeks after it opened. Didn't write a review then, or did I? Anyway... It is about the size of a Starbucks lobby, complete with standard decorative restaurant applications. There's a couple of tables and a half dozen booths to sit in. Soda selection is limited, and they do have a few adult beverages there as well. I don't drink, so I usually don't check out the drink menu. Not to make the staff seem too stereotypical, but as soon as I heard the yelling in the kitchen, with the language of the natives, I knew from the first visit, this was gonna be at the very least, a tasty meal. This visit was not a disappointing one. I ordered the potstickers, and an order of combo lo mein. Very good and very filling. And all the flavors were very authentic. I will say the service is hot and miss, but only because the language barrier is somewhat thick. But, I really don't need to ask for anything else past the meal being set, because that's ultimately what matters, in my opinion. As long as we communicate, the plates and cups aren't thrown at me, I'm a happy camper. I feel like this place is a little more popular for take out, but I think it is also worthy of a sit in meal. I'm having the duck next time... Thanks!

It's about a 12min drive west of I-10, located in a small business park strip mall. It's absolutely worth the diversion. They have a small section with groceries, and a larger area with refrigerated goods. I tried El Cubano (no tomato, no cabbage), Potato Salad, and Key Lime Parfait. El Cubano was actually delicious. Their thinly sliced and seasoned seitan was perfect, as was the accompanying sauces and toasted bread. I'd order this on repeat if I lived nearby. I was surprised by how great the potato salad was. It had the perfect mayo/mustard balance, which is extremely difficult to find. I need a gallon of this. The key lime parfait was ok. I expected more (in terms of flavor, not quantity), but it was not bad. I've just had much better so I wouldn't order it again. I'd be willing to try a different dessert next time. It was gluten free so that's a plus! There were many other things on the menu that caught my eye, but I only have one tummy. If we'd had a cooler I would've grabbed some tuNo salad, Egg-y salad, smoked chick'n & pasta, and CTK tempeh pâté from their refrigerated section, because everything looked delicious. But now I have the perfect excuse to return to CTK on my next PHX-LAX drive.

I also love their little store section with the faux meats, seasonings, and merchandise. I ordered the bowl of chili, the Chupacabra sandwich and the Guadalajara burger. The chili was so flavorful and I enjoyed learning that they use Rancho Gordo beans. The Guadalajara burger had great toppings but as much as I try, I'm not the biggest fan of Tempeh. The chupacabra sandwich was good, the menu said that the 'chicken' is thinly sliced, I didn't realize just how thin it is. I think I would have preferred if it were slightly thicker and less cabbage. There was so much cabbage that it overpowered the rest of the sandwich. Overall, I think this place is a gem and I'd like to try their other menu items.
