Discovered this place last week with coworkers. Excellent food and very clean. I had the Chicken Banh Mi sandwich with a fried egg. Fantastic!!! The bread was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken was seasoned well and the vegetables were crunchy. I've been back 3 times since. Also tried the spring rolls with peanut sauce. So good when we first started going but it seems the quality has just gone down hill. The filet mignon consistently has been given to us icy cold but this time it was frozen solid and the broth that's supposed to "cook" the raw beef was lukewarm at best. Leaving 4 stars because I'm still optimistic it will be better in the future and the flavor of the broth is still so good! Please go the extra mile and correct this guys! read more

The customer service here is awful. I walked in and wasn't greeted by anyone. When I walked to the counter to order, I let the man know that it would be to-go. When I looked over the menu, I let the gentleman know that I would like the shrimp rolls with no ham, since they come with ham and shrimp. He said that it would be more. I almost didn't go because someone gave them a terrible review. The place is super cute, and the pho is super good! The price is super reasonable, and if you don't like pho. They have a lot of other choices: Vermicelli, rice, and French sandwiches. I'm Vietnamese so the pho is pretty good for no MSG! It is right next to Olive Oil restaurant so it is not hard to find. When my husband picked up he asked the guy for sauce. He said he put plenty in the bag. We get it home there is no hoisin , siracha, or chili oil (no sauce).The portion of filet meat was slim and there was no jalapeños like the description . Had an excellent meal at the new Pho Viet Tastes on Sawdust last night. Actually our second time there... usually it's Eads for us but we'll almost certainly replace it with this new one. We had the grilled shrimp and beef vermicelli bowl, pho rib, and char-grilled beef spring rolls. Proteins were tender and tasty; vegetables were VERY fresh and crisp; rice noodles were perfectly springy, not at all mushy like they often are; pho broth clear and so savory; spring roll's vegetables obviously very fresh and the rice paper not sticky like it often is; great house-made peanut sauce and fish sauce. Attractively decorated with a nice paint scheme, beautiful and unique lighting, and spacious dining area with good table's separation. As good as the food was, the service was even better. Delightful, prompt, attentive, ready with answers and help, and very friendly with lots of laughs. The place is squeaky clean, and the complete staff wore full-face masks at all times. Mike (owner? manager?) came by and had a great chat. Delightful guy, it was clear they're almost fanatically dedicated to providing fresh, great food and excellent service. And one last plus (for us anyway)... it's BYOB. Only grabbed one quick pic, guess I feel a bit awkward about photoing food.
