I was super excited to see a Pho restaurant opened on Main Street. Ordered carry out. Summer rolls were standard and good but heavy on the lettuce. Pho portions were slightly smaller than average, less meat, bean sprouts and basil than nearby Pho restaurants. Broth flavor was fine but nothing outstanding. Probably won't be back. read more

This place gave me GASTRO INTESTINAL BACTERIAL INFECTION!!!! DO nOT GO HERE! I had to be sent to a urgent care facility and the confirmed it for me. I have never had something like this happen before and i am severely disgusted. I have the proof and i hope no one goes here. Highly don't recommend this place to anyone. I can give you a far better place than this one to get pho from. Highly irresponsible staff that'll just let ANY SICK PERSON WORK!! No. Never again. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Seriously since it is the bacteria and NOT THE VIRUS. I hope people read this and know about this BECAUSE THAT IS DISGUSTING OF A BUSINESS!!! don'When you read review for Pho joint, you got to read them from the Vietnamese reviewers. Pho is Vietnamese national dish, Phở, pronounced "fuh," is a Vietnamese soup that is normally made with a bone-beef broth, banh pho noodles, and thinly sliced beef, that's often served with bean sprouts , lime, hot pepper, basil on the side. Other than that, except Pho Chicken, the other noodle soup would be called "Hu Tiu" or "Mi" When Pho comes to America, it became "Pho seafood" , Pho Vegetable, Pho tofu .." which is NOT CORRECT, I would call them " Americanized Pho variety" The ingredients to make Pho broth is for beef bones, therefore, if you use them for anything else, it won't work ! I particularly love pho Viet 75, this is the only Pho joint that give me enough meat. I hope they will keep it that way, most Vietnamese don't eat much meat but the Vietnamese people in America does eat a lot of meat. I like to eat my Pho with meat from the first bite to the last. In most place, I can only go half bowl with meat, the other half is just noodle . Their broth is excellent, not too (sugar) sweet like most place, again, if you taste Pho broth and can feel the sugary sweet taste then it not Pho, Pho original place is from Northern Vietnam and in the North, we don't add sugar to our foods, we do add sugar and MSG to Pho broth, but should not be noticeable , when it is ready to eat, we don't add anything else in our Pho broth except a touch of fish sauce and lime, no hoisin sauce, no sriracha because we want to enjoy the clear, powerful taste of the beef broth . You will have to ask for Pho spoon, they keep forgetting, I don't know why don't they just leave those spoons on the table with the chopsticks. I haven't had real Pho for a long time, Pho Viet 75 does take me back to the original Pho that I once knew . read more

Normally I am a regular full-out pho proper gal - but ordered a chicken pho just to try it. I was shocked at how flavorful yet balanced the soup was! For a to-go order, the soup was packaged perfectly and remained hot. Overall, really great chicken pho - I would order again! read more

I go here at least twice a week during work since it's right down the street. It is ALWAYS so fast and hot and absolutely delicious. I can't convince myself to eat anywhere else because it is so consistently good. read more

Working in restaurants most of my life and being a cook/home baker myself, I've been told I can be pretty critical about food in general however I rarely leave reviews or make a fuss. I just choose not to revisit those places. I work in the area and was excited to see there was a Pho place close by. I love pho but decided to just keep it light and eat a full dinner later after I get off work. I am posting this review exactly an 1hr30mins after eating my 'food'. Maybe my first mistake was coming here at about 3pm but when I walked in it was basically 'dead', no customers. I went up to the counter and ordered 2 orders of the summer rolls and a thai iced tea w/ boba. Realized they had grilled chicken summer rolls (which I'd never seen before) so asked to do one order each of chicken and shrimp. Ordering the chicken version was probably my second mistake. I don't typically tip carryout orders but decided to tip the cashier in cash. Took my food and went back to the office, a soon as I opened the bag I was not impressed. I love summer rolls but these things were not summer rolls. It was basically a ton of shredded iceberg lettuce, 2 pieces of basil, barely any noodles and 3 (half slices) peices of the smallest shrimp, No carrots or any of the typical veggies in sight. The chicken was even worse, same formula but they used OLD scraps of 'grilled' chicken. You know when you have cooked chicken that hardens up and should be thrown away? That is what they put in my rolls. I ate them but ended up spitting the chicken out because it was like chewing cardboard ( I would have posted the picture but I am sure no one wants to see that). The Thai Iced tea was just as dissapointing because it was super sweet (-need to rinse my mouth with water' sweet) and the miniscule amount of boba that was in the cup was also OLD. Most of it was congealed and when I chewed them they were hard in middle, completely wrong texture! After writing this I am even more irritated that I wasted $20 (tip included) and didn't even get a meal, just appetizers and a drink . At first I thought I might give it a chance and go back to try some pho, eating in the store during a dinner rush and see if there is any difference in quality. But why should someone coming in during off-peak hours, doing carryout or delivery get a lesser quality of food or service?!? While being charged more for the option delivery/carryout and still being expected to tip. I was the only customer in the store and did not hear or see them dealing with any delivery/carryout orders. Yet I was given nonsense to eat. I should have just saved my money and the calories, and gone home hungry. Now I am angry with indigestion. I am sure there must be a reason the place has 4 stars but if you still plan on eating here, I would suggest you go during peak hours and keep your expectations low. Fresh. I 've been to Pho 75, Pho 95, Pho One-O, Pho Saigon, Pho Vn, Pho Van, Pho Kevin, Mi La Cay, An Loi, Pho Dat Than, Pho Real, Pho King, Pho Eva, Pho Sho, so on and so forth. This place ranks at top 2. The broth finds that elusive balance between umami, freshness, and meatiness. They don't skimp on the veggies. Basil and peppers were fresh. Their Onion with Vinegar is the best out of all pho places. Some joints just chop it and throw it in a bowl. Here, they slice it thin with the perfect amount of vinegar. Not spicy. Not vinegary. Bit sweet with crunch. Not fishy, gamy, stinky like some other places. Haven't tried the Summer/Spring roll bc someone ate it all before I could get a bite. But the soup and the onion is enough to make this a top Pho restaurant. read more

This may have been one of the best, if not THE best, bowls of pho I've ever had. The broth is delicious, rivaling the standard-bearer Pho 75 in Langley Park. A clear beef rich in flavor but not overbearing in salt or msg. There was nothing left in the bowl when I was done, and I didn't want to add any of the normal toppings like hoisin or basil, as the broth alone tasted so good. So, the service is a little slow and a bit disorganized. I saw 2-4 people in the back and one taking orders and managing the register. When we got in, they didn't have a table bussed and cleaned, and it took them 5-8 mins to complete that while we stood there and stared at them playing on their phones. When we finally could sit at a clean table. No one gave us menus, napkins, utensils, or water. We waited again for another 15 mins, and then my sister went up to get menus for us. Then they came by and asked if we were ready to order, but we had just gotten the menus 30 secs beforehand. So we then asked for water and drinks. We waited again, and when I looked at my watch, 25 mins had gone by, and we still didn't have water. When she came back, we placed our orders and then some egg rolls for the girls. It was another 20 mins later when we got our water. The egg rolls came out after that. Then one pork and rice meal. Then our pho. I ordered the pho ga and it was ok. Broth was lighter and less seasoned, but it was ok. My sister said the egg rolls were more roll than filling, but also that the nuoc mam was watered down. When we were almost done with they finally brought out the other drinks we had ordered. So, from the service alone, I probably wouldn't go back. Food was ok. read more

The best Pho I've had in a long time!! I'm an avid pho lover and I've been to a couple of other places that don't seem to be as good as this restaurant. It's very quaint and clean inside. I ordered the vegetable pho with tofu and I've never had better pho. Will be back for sure, absolutely delicious :) read more

The Pho was Terrible. No taste to it. The entire time I was in this restaurant in the middle of the day and I was the only one there the entire time for over 1 hour... no one came in or out except the owner. I am not exactly sure who gave this place great ratings unless they were his family or girlfriends. Nice guy but the food was horrible! And I've been eating Pho for over 30 years! read more
